Such a gem of a restaurant! We just happened to walk by on Friday night at 9pm and noticed how cute and lively the place looked.
So we walked in hoping there would be room and there was! The escargot were amazing and my friend tried it for the first time.
I cannot rave about this restaurant more! It’s a 10 out of 10!!

Bernadette was an experience in contrasts. The food, mostly, was very good, if somewhat overly seasoned. The service was both attentive, inattentive and overly intrusive (if you leave a water carafe on the table, we can pour it ourselves) and the atmosphere was of an upscale bistro, but so loud while being about 1/4 full. All the smaller missteps could be easily overlooked if the prices weren't quite high, especially for a Salem establishment.
