“On the outskirts of Downtown Lynn here's a spot that serves tasty authentic Hatian food with good serving sizes. Chicken so good that it slides off the bone!
Pikliz was crunchy and a little spicy to add a kick of flavor. Dish served with generous amounts of sauce. Papaya juice was thickened with too much whipped cream, though. You can't go wrong with the bunun peze (pressed fried plaintains). The atmosphere could use some decoration, and better music choice could be switched to Haitian music to celebrate the culture with pride and set the right vibe. It's a small business/family owned restaurant, so I can overlook some issues and hope they improve over time with listening to the constructive feedback. Street parking is available, and the place is easy to find off the street. Service was friendly and the food was great, so a good experience overall. Merci!

“Attended an evening event here on the weekend. The place was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The DJ played good music throughout and there was a large variety of African food for all the guests and well as a dessert platter. The service for drinks was very slow. Parking was easy to find as it's located near a large parking lot.”

“I went one night to visit a friend from the place and it was fine but one of her waitresses dressed very badly in very bad taste showing everything as if it were a cabaret I just didn't like that”

“Never order pick up. We ordered 2 twin lobster one with ginger scallops and the other with black bean sauce. Shrimp fried rice and Chicken wings. The lobster had empty shells mix in the lobster with black bean had nothing but oil in the box the chicken was hard as a rock and I asked for no vegetables in the rice and of course it had vegetables. Mind you I came all the way from Dorchester and was so disappointed that I had to let customers know it’s better to eat in don’t order pick up”

“I had an amazing experience, the atmosphere was confortable and clean, perfect for a quick bite. The service was excellent, staff were super friendly and got my order out fast. I went with the crispy chicken combo and was delicious - crispy outside, juicy inside. The fries were spot on, crunchy and salty. The place was nicely decorated with plenty of seating. “Union Cafe has become one of my favorite go-to places in Lynn, MA. My wife and I recently moved to the area and upon visiting Union Cafe, we found the options limited for us due to the fact my wife and I are both vegan. After speaking with the very friendly owner, Charbell, and telling him, though we loved the place, thaat except for muffins, and beverages, there wasn't much for us to eat. He asked us what he could do to facilite us and after brought in Impossible burgers and Felafel wraps, both vegan. It has now become our regualar haunt. The entire staff is very friendly and provides exceptional service. I love when a business owner listens to his customers and responds so well. BTW, my wife loves the felafel and they cook the Impossible burger to order which is fantastic!”

“durum in Lynn exceeded our expectations! Fresh pasta is their specialty, & it shows. For a family gathering, we ordered the chicken parmesan & meat lasagna, both priced at $40 each & absolutely worth it. We couldn’t resist grabbing some extras—the prosciutto & fig schiacciata & fresh focaccia with tomato & garlic were amazing. We left with more than just our meal, though—fresh pasta, sauce, & treats for the win. Everyone raved about the food, & Durum earns two enthusiastic thumbs up! 🙌🍝”

“Found this restaurant last week and found a gem, food and service were exceptional. Could not believe the price, I ordered two pupusas with a can of soda. When the bill arrived, it was only a little over $5…… the restaurant is sunny and well decorated….I recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. 12 years ago, I lived a block away & ate there consistently. I was headed to Boston last weekend & when I saw that they were still open, I paid them a visit for lunch.
The food was just as good as I remember. Friendly staff, great vibe for a quick bite.
Got a 3 taco mixed plate with la lingua, chorizo, & Al pastor. Comes with rice & beans. Also had some pork & cheese papusas on the side. Portions are so large I couldn’t finish everything, but had to try.
Definitely check this place out if you’re in or passing through Lynn.”

My favorite is the Appetizer Lunch or Dinner, you pick 3 and can add extra ones for a modest price. It's a mini PuPu platter with none of the things you don't want. Everyone in my office LOVES this place. We stopped ordering from the local well known place, both have excellent food, but again, love the options and price.”

“There is a variety of bread that is most similar to Salvadoran bread and it is good but I don't like that the customer serves themselves and there are customers who are not very clean and try to reach for the bread that is placed at the back and that way they drag themselves past. sleeve of his jacket the bread that is placed on the edge, that is, in front and I don't like that. In my opinion, it should be the store saleswoman who delivers the bread to customers so that it is cleaner this way.”

“Easily one of the most chaotic Dunkin’ visits I’ve ever had. The manager spent the entire time berating employees over a ticket machine, openly insulting them in front of customers instead of leading. Even worse, she tried to influence customers to talk down to the employees as well, calling them “stupid”. The toxic environment was impossible to ignore—employees looked miserable, and the inappropriate behavior between them was shocking. I’m just glad my kid wasn’t with me to witness it. Those employees deserve better.”

“If you are looking for authentic Dominican food in the Lynn area, Tony Tipico is absolutely worth the stop. I love coming here. It is such a nice treat to have this level of consistency in the food. Everything always tastes fresh, flavorful, and homemade.

What I really appreciate is that this is the kind of everyday Dominican food many families actually eat back home in the DR. Real comfort food and classic street-food style offerings you would find throughout the Dominican Republic. The setup is buffet style, so you walk up, choose what you want, and they either plate it for you or pack it to go.

The ox tails are outstanding, the chicharrón is always on point, and the rice and beans never miss. Honestly, I have not had a bad meal here yet. You can tell they take pride in the food and care about the quality.

The only thing saving me is the 45-minute drive... because if I lived any closer, I would probably be a few more pounds overweight.”

The broth itself is incredible. Just beautiful flavor. They pack everything separately to go, so nothing gets soggy and you get to pick and choose what you want to put into your pho.

Some of the toppings were literally a fresh packed bag of produce that probably came from the grocery store that morning.

The beef was flavorful, noodles cooked perfectly. One of the best pho I’ve ever had.

It was a bit pricey through door dash so will probably make a point to go to the actual location next, but this is a well worth it treat for delivery.”
