“Met the woman I was lent to here... ( She never gave me back to Debbie who lent me to her for the night...)Good drinks!Parking: Good luck finding some when they're busy don't park in the bike lane you might not just get a ticket you might get towed.“
“I’ve been eating here for years, and there’s no better place in Lynn. I’m a vegetarian and their food is beyond anything you can get at any other Asian restaurant. Always fresh and the service is great. I live in Cambridge and whenever I visit Lynn I have to visit. Worth a 45 minute drive. They care about their customers and their product and it shows. Today they called and double checked just because I ordered lo mein with vegetarian style pork- they wanted to make sure I was OK with egg noodles. What food place calls you when you place an online delivery to make sure your dietary needs are respected? Love them!!Vegetarian options: Veggie pork lo mein and the veggie orange chicken are amazing!!Dietary restrictions: Absolutely highly recommend for any vegan or vegetarian!“
“My aunt is Thai and once I moved to Boston she implored I visit for authentic Thai food! This is the most reminiscent of authentic Thai food like I used to get when I visited!! Cannot recommend this enough!!! Basil fried rice and massaman curry are incredible!!!“
“I used to live in SoCal, where there was a Thai restaurant on every corner and I've scoured areas to find the best of the best —and praise the Lord that Andalin is up there among them. Not only that, but this local gem offers some dishes that uniquely set them apart. If you want that flavorful authentic taste —this is the spot. If you want something fresh and different —look no further. I'm a hardcore classic pad Thai fan and this place hits. The crab rangoons are a must and the bbq pork w/ sticky rice is a MUST try. The staff is very kind and the restaurant is as beautifully set up as the dishes. Just go. Go now.“
“My favorite spot for Pad thai! I come here very often! Also the Thai wings are amazing. I've never had any food from here that I did not like, but the pad thai is out of this world. Top notch food and the service is fantastic! 100% worth a try.“
“Crying Thaiger had a super cute atmosphere and the food was delicious. I got Thai iced coffee, fried tofu (the sauce was so good), and Pad Thai with Tofu. There were lots of vegetarian and gluten free options which was awesome. The servers were very friendly.Dietary restrictions: The menu was clearly marked for vegetarian, gluten free, and spice level for all of the items.“
“Last semester, I was commuting to college and often staying late on campus to avoid traffic. I came to this restaurant so often for dinner, that the owner herself now recognizes me by both name and appearance. She is the sweetest lady ever, she radiates hospitality, and her smile is like sunshine. Her and her partner make great food, always reliable and comforting, and easily my go to for a quick take out meal when I’m in the area. Now, my boyfriend and I come here almost weekly for dinner and she always welcomes us with a warm smile and delicious food. Thank you Ching!“
“We both had the day off and wanted some time out in a downtown that wasn't as busy as Salem so we headed to Marblehead. We chose Le Ros in advance because they had a great lunch menu with lots of options and, even better, the chance to try a few things at once. We ate late so it was basically empty. The staff was welcoming and attentive. My husband ordered the unagi box and I had the vegetarian. We enjoyed both a great deal. The restaurant is lovely and off of Atlantic so it was quiet and calm. We will definitely go back to try more of what the menu has to offer. Try the fresh lemon/limeade!“
“This was our first time visiting The Bangkok and it will NOT be our last! We decided to be complete fat@$$es — I mean adventurous — and delved into the small plates. If you are a person of small appetite, 1-2 small plates is enough for you (we did not stop there!). For apps/small plates, we shared the veggie crispy rolls and curry roti (fried scallion pancake). The rolls were perfectly crisp without being oily with a healthy side of pickled carrots and radish over lettuce and sweet/sour dipping sauce. The roti was served hot and crispy with a soft lemongrass soup sauce. Amazing! My carnivorous spouse added a small plate of ribs, too; she describes the ribs as “good.” In more elaborate details the curry on top tasted of a savory scallion and red beans that fit nicely with the meat of the ribs that fell from the bones (may the poor cow’s soul rest in peace).Moving onto entrees, I have a habit of testing Thai restaurants with tofu red curry. This was a healthy portion — too much to handle in one sitting — was a New England American (white people) spicy 5:10 after asking for extra spicy, luckily there was chili oil on the tables for additional spice. Anyway, the curry was creamy, not watery and had a beautiful mix of beans, red peppers, bamboo, tofu, pea pods, and chunks of eggplant, plus a side of rice. I would definitely get it again!Partner in murdering Thai food today got khao soi noodle dish that had a light yellow curry spicy (caliente) sauce with noodles, scallion, greens, herbs, vegetables, and a whole freaking chicken leg grass in a lemon grass coconut sauce, which I’m told tasted amazing. Again, God rest that chicken soul. We finished off fat@$$fest with the mango sticky rice. Well, the taste was impeccable with the just perfectly ripen mangoes, I would suggest just slightly more coconut sauce, but keep in mind I am an Asian American, not an Asian Asian. The service was wonderful and each of the people serving us was on top of our table without being overbearing. And the best part was for all of that we spent around $66 without tip. I highly recommend if you are in the Melrose area and really looking for some authentic, delicious Thai food.“
“If you haven’t eaten here you certainly should, it’s a hidden gem with the best dumplings I have ever tasted. The lady who owns and runs it is a fantastic personality and a joy to see for every short occasion. I would have posted a photo to show how perfectly crisp they are but I ate them before I thought to post and ate them far too quickly. The homemade dumpling sauce is such a compliment. Highly recommend going out of your way to make it here for the times it’s open you wouldn’t regret it.“
“Red Sugar Cafe is my favorite Thai food restaurant I go to. I order from them once almost every 2-3 weeks. I recommend it to all of my family and friends. The owners are incredibly nice and amazing cooks. I could only say positive and great things about this placeDietary restrictions: They honor all of my dietary restrictions including tree nutsParking: Few spots right out front“
“(FYI - In all fairness, this is based on a single visit and two dishes)I was headed to a dumpling shop down the street when I just happened to park in front of this place. I was in the mood for hot noodley stuff from any part of Asia anyway, so this fit the bill with a much easier walk on a chilly day."Thai Street Food" suggested they probably had more going on than Pad Thai and Golden Bags. Knowing "Zaab" means something along the lines of "Wicked Tasty" I figured it was a safe bet.I quickly spotted the Yum Nam Tok: a semi-salad thing of grilled sliced pork tossed with onions, chiles and a lime-soy dressing. Sprinkled with toasted rice powder for crunch and aroma, it's a personal favorite. 9Zaab does a really great job with this dish. Generously sized as well, allowing me to push it aside for later, then keep picking at it until the next course without finishing it off.The big bowl of Ba Lee Moo Dang (and Fish Ball!) was next. Perfect choice on a half-sunny/half-cold day. The menu billed it as "The most famous Thai egg noodles"* and it had a couple of chile pepper symbols next to it. Most Famous at a place called Zaab! I was waiting to have my socks blown off.Didn't quite happen. The famous egg noodles were a big helping of instant ramen in a big bowl of mildly- oh so very mildly - seasoned broth. The BBQ pork slices were pretty much pink ringed slices of the Chinese Char-Siu take out variety. There were some decent dumplings as well as some very delicious fish balls. They did, however, leave off the cilantro & fried garlic as listed.Over all it was kinda non-zaab... It wasn't bad. There just wasn't much to talk about flavor-wise. I poured some of the Yum Nam Tok dressing into it and added some chiles. It all worked out.Staff is nice, the joint is immaculately clean and I'd definitely give it another visit.*Turns out, all the noodle soups on the menu begin with "the most famous Thai..."Vegetarian options: I don't think I've ever been to a Thai restaurant which wasn't half-vegetarian by default.Dietary restrictions: People allergic to Thai food may feel itchy.Parking: Cambridge Street in Cambridge. Easy(ish) street parking on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely more challenging during the week.“
“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“
“The food was excellent so I'd give 5 stars just for that but they went above and beyond to cater to our kids food allergies, which is always difficult when you are traveling and have to eat out.The lady then took time to speak with our boys, ask them they're name and wrote it out in Thai on a piece of paper for them to take home as well as teach them how to pronounce it. Our boys were super happy.I would 100% return.Dietary restrictions: Allergies“
“This spot has always had really good food. Unfortunately, I think people often drive by because of the location. Also, they were closed for awhile, and I didn't realize that they had reopened. To tell you the truth, a lot of the Chinese food I've had from other places lately has been very disappointing. So we were thrilled to see that they had reopened and their food has actually improved since last time we ordered, pre-pandemic! My husband and I ordered an appetizer sampler, sesame chicken and pork fried rice. Everything was crispy, all the right flavors and fresh. I really hope people don't just drive by to the other very overrated spot on Route 1. Out of Asia has taken precautions for social distancing in their establishment and are reasonably priced. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Small place with some fantastic flavors! Really wasn't expecting the level of food and service we got when visiting. Everything from the dumplings to the drinks was special. Nice cozy place tucked away, but once you find it you need to become a regular!“
“This place is great. Recommended by a friend that said he's had all of the chef specials and nothing ever disappoints. The atmosphere is lovely and service is great. They were very attentive in filling water and making sure things all came out great. Fair to say I found a new favorite spot.“
“I really fell in love with the sushi bomb roll. I ordered it from DoorDash with some vegetables rolls & both were great. It was my first time trying sushi as well from an actual restaurant so it was very Good to me. The sushi was 15 dollars & the rolls were 5 dollars in my opinion it was totally worth it. I’m going to bring my family there one of these days to try out other stuff they have.“
“Do what I do. Ask for a large entree. Decline the rice or noodles. Instead of choosing 3 things to add to the large entree, choose 2: the grilled-looking chicken and the steamed-looking broccoli. They ought to fill the container with those 2. The sauce they put on that chicken is carbs aplenty and you get a delicious balanced meal for less than $10. Used to go here near daily for work. Miss this spot.“
“I tried Soi8 for the first time and it was delicious! I have had sushi all over the world and this is some of the best! The Tuna Tataki was a great start! And the Sex on the Beach roll was amazing! I like spicy tuna and this was just perfect! I plan to bring family, friend and clients here!!Parking: I parked right out front.“
“Stopped by for a rainy weekend late lunch. We were seated right away. I ordered the bun bo hue and it was very good. Soup was savory, not too salty. I ordered the steamed mixed veggies on the side, probably wouldn't do it again for the 3.95 price point - very small portion and the veggies were barely steamed. Good experience overall, will come back just for the bun bo hue!“
“I love to eat Malaysian food at this restaurant! It's tasty!Roti Canai, water cress with preserved bean curd paste sauce and Hainanese chicken are my favorites at this restaurantThe atmosphere is like having food with family. The service is fine, but I expect the food more than service hereWill come back with my family when we visit Boston“
“Excellent and fresh for everything we've tried but a bit bland on every dish. Please offer Lo Mein with just a big heap of noodles, you put too much other stuff in it with very few noodles!Great friendly service, excellent parking, love this place.“
“Great value for the money, and good calm atmosphere. The entree servings are generous. I almost always take half home for another meal. My glass of wine does add expense. My favorite is the Rama Garden with chicken, and a side order of brown rice.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant steps and entry would be difficult for a wheelchair.“
“One of my Thai friends in Boston recommended Thai food at Pad Thai Cafe for lunchIt's small take out and some dining in space to eat food with a bathroom inside the restaurantThe food was scrumptious and authentic. My friend and I enjoyed eating the foodThe service is attentive and friendly. This restaurant is one of my options if I'd like to have Thai food in Boston“
“Favorite Thai Takeout in Wakefield. I order from here very regularly. It's a cute hole in the wall type place with excellent food. Service is always great - friendly and quick. Few of my favorite meals: Charm Thai Fried Rice, Pad Woonsen, Drunken Noodle, Red Chicken Curry, and Green Chicken Curry. Everything is fresh and flavorful, not overwhelming or bland and the portions are great - I usually get two meals out of it. They are not stingy with the protein either. The Thai Iced Tea is also made really well here. It's right on Main Street - when you can snag a parking spot right in front/on Main Street it's a dream, but there is a parking lot and (side) street parking right around the corner. They also do delivery if you prefer or need that. There is only one maybe two tables inside so it's definitely a takeout joint, not an eat-in kind of restaurant, but if you are craving Thai food and want something delicious, this is the place to go!“
“This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a little strip mall in Winthrop. The interior is very nice and classy enough to impress and there's a separate bar area. The menu is pretty big with sushi, the usual Thai noodle and rice dishes. Lot of good soup options as well. The service was great and the food is fantastic and you get a good portion for the price. Definitely worth checking this place out if you want good Thai without driving into the city.“
“Working nearby and found this hidden gem! The lunch specials are ok but I found the entree cheaper. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and steamed five delight and a side of white rice. I honestly felt this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The sauce was tasty and the vegetables were perfect! I recommend!“
“It's fine, maybe 3 and a half. I think it is not as high quality as some of the places around here and you know it's a take out place, not a fancy sit down restaurant. I think it would be ideal for hanging around with some folks, drinking a couple of beers and watching sports or something. The prices are great, the portions are great, the food, well it's good not great. I still reccomend and it is a great addition to Melrose long term. The tempura (and there is a lot of it) seems to be more like you would get for the breading in a sweet and sour recipe at a standard Chinese American storefront. I do like that you can choose the spiciness. The price to quality ratio is such that it gets the four, but there is higher quality thai food in the area if you are introducing someone for the first time. Let me add that the woman that worked there was friendly as hell and I showed up early and she apologized for it not being ready like she was a magician or something.“
“It’s a very busy restaurant, most of it is take out and deliveries, but it has a couple tables if you decide to eat at the restaurant. The food is unbelievable delicious and the staff are super friendly. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for Thai cuisine.Parking: You can park aside around the corner if you decide to dine in, for pick up you can park in front of the restaurant or even the middle of the street at your own risk, I do it sometimes there is enough space for cars to pass through, but like I said is not the ideal, even though Uber eat drivers do that.“
