Thaiger Den in Malden is a great spot for Thai cuisine! The restaurant is warm and inviting, with welcoming staff who make you feel right at home. Thai food already is so incredibly balanced that it's almost always inherently good regardless of where you get it from. With that being said, I've definitely had my fair share of mid renditions, this place though, was anything but mid. Mushroom steak was juicy. Cauliflower steak was perfectly charred. Thaiger Den is an upscale Thai restaurant with a fun, chic, and modern atmosphere. Service is absolutely impeccable. On a Saturday night without a reservation, the wait was about an hour, but the experience was worth it. The Thai tea was one of the best, not overly sweet and topped with a milk cold foam, giving it a rich and creamy texture. The Massaman Pot Pie was unique and comforting, with a crispy and flaky crust and savory beef and vegetables inside. The steak Pad Thai arrived later; the steak was medium rare and well done, and a complimentary Thai Tea Panna Cotta dessert was silky and lightly sweet. Other highlights include Whismical Thaiger shrimp salad, chicken wings with special sauce, Curried Lamb and sweet potatoes, vegan calamari (coconut meat), beef tongue app with smokey flavor, Crab Curry, Khao Soi with flat iron steak, Thai tea coco bliss, thaiger’s cloud tea, and shrimp fried rice with tiger shrimp. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, but make a reservation ahead.
