First off: the flavors are amazing. They are both well thought of combinations and absolutely high quality products. This is artisan level ice cream. It is very dense and rich. It kind of reminds me of Italian gelato in a way. I loved the cones as well. You can order a 1, 2, or 3 scoop in a cone or cup. Or cone kind of looking thing in a cup.

The staff here was super nice and friendly. Thank you for your professionalism! I love the atmosphere of the store and it was very modern, clean, and intriguing. I wanted a cone as soon as I walked in.

Price wise, be prepared for expensive ice cream. In my opinion it was worth the purchase for how exceptionally better it was than the vast majority of places I’ve tried around town.

“This is a charming ice cream store in the picturesque and quaint neighbourhood of North End. The two ice creams I’ve tasted were good but not the best I’ve had in Boston. For instance, I had the coffee ores one today and I wished it had more concentrated coffee flavour. Their hot fudge is yummy though. The people who work there were nice and professional.“

“I have been hooked on Richie's Italian Ice. 10oz..with these great flavors cherry, watermelon, strawberry, lemon lime, raspberry, orange cream, root beer. Sour apple.. Etc. I found them at Raynham Market Basket 4 for $5. Only trouble the flavor are limited. So I run to other all market basket stores around to find different flavors.. the Product is Super hit this season and I bet it will go fast this summer.. “This place is great!! The staff is awesome and always soooo kind. Never had a bad experience here and never will. This place is reasonably priced, moves the line quick, and most importantly has THE best Richardson’s ice cream. My favorite is the peanut butter oreo! Not just dog friendly but dog lovers! The girl who took my order loved my dog and even told me that they can have soft serve vanilla! Now me and my dog can get a tasty treat from this amazing shop!“

“What I love about Van Leeuwen is that it's the only Ice Cream store that's open late. After dinner in the Seaport with 3 friends we decided to go get Ice Cream. Proper pepperoni-pepperoni pizza with burrata and hot honey (my favorite one) Cheese and Milanese- cheese pizza with chicken cutlet and red peppers. The last shipment we received on August 20 of this year was a disappointment. The only one in decades. It was good and also bad throughout being slightly burnt. Just a heads up so you are aware.“
