“I’ve been coming to Richardson’s ever since I moved near here. Never once have I left feeling unsatisfied due to the sheer excellence of their work. The staff are so polite, ordering is easy, and best of all, the ice cream is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect place to come on a hot summer’s day to walk around the farm, enjoying a tasty cone. “Stumbled upon this place by accident. Traveling through the area on vacation and happened to stop for sandwiches a few shops down. Had a hankering for something sweet and was pleased that this place was only a few stops down. The amount of flavors truly makes me want to stay and just try them all. Can confirm the almond joy in a sugar cone and the banana in a waffle cone are both delicious. Banana tastes like actual banana and the almond joy did not skimp on the mix ins.“

I took off one star cause the ice cream is close to being perfect, but not quite. The cookie dough ice cream just simply didn’t have enough cookie dough bites in it. We all know those are the best part so what are we skimping for!

The cake batter ice cream had too many sprinkles for my taste. It’s already a very sweet flavor so it would be nice to have the option to add sprinkles instead.

On the other hand, the fruit and sorbet style flavors were perfection!

Last point, the employees all seemed like they hated their lives here. I respect that ofc cause I’ve worked many jobs that I hate, but it gave me the sense something could be done behind the scenes to make it a better work environment.

“Went for some pizza. Order at the counter got three slices to split with hubby. Proper pepperoni-pepperoni pizza with burrata and hot honey (my favorite one) Cheese and Milanese- cheese pizza with chicken cutlet and red peppers. We also wanted to try the arancini- made with prosciutto instead of ground beef. You can take it to go but we decided to stay and eat. Beautifully decorated. The owner Stefano was so nice and checked on us to see if we needed anything. As we were leaving we stopped at the gelato counter and got a gelato to go. I had the oreo. Soooo good! We will be back!“

“What I love about Van Leeuwen is that it's the only Ice Cream store that's open late. After dinner in the Seaport with 3 friends we decided to go get Ice Cream. It was 10pm and Van was the only late night Ice Cream store in the Seaport. That was very helpful and we all order a triple scoop. It's also the best tasting ice cream in the neighborhood.“

For example they bring paneton for Christmas in dozen, also they make dessert for parties such as empanadas, pastries, flan, alfajor, etc. You can go with your family or friends and sit outside to enjoy sweet. It's a great place to enjoy dessert together and try something new. For these reasons, Frio Rico is an excellent place to enjoy authentic Peruvian food and dessert.
