Ana was a great server and the staff ran incredibly well to get food out to everyone quickly. Very good food and inexpensive for the area
If I could leave a 10 star review I would! The food was amazing, the staff was wonderful (and we visited during Halloween in Salem… it was BUSY!) and the atmosphere was cozy. My husband and I are already planning another trip to Salem and we will be remembering the Black Cat diner!
Just the cutest place ever. I had pancakes with sausage which came out fast and was amazing. Our waitress was wonderful and so friendly. Could not recommend this place enough.

Black Cat Diner has a typical diner vibe and is a little crowded and cozy. The food is amazing and delicious, and the pancakes with sausage came out fast. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, and so friendly even while swamped with people. The atmosphere is cozy, and the location, service, and food are amazing. The staff talked with everyone like they knew them and treated them the same way. It was a wonderful experience, and the service is so friendly. The place can get hot, and it should have a big sign for the front door that says "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED" or "Please wait in line for your turn."
