Absolutely loved everything about the Gulu . The alt/bohemian ambiance was choice and the food was delicious. My server PJ went out of his way to help us and was funny and charming and made great recommendations. Nestled in the heart of Salem, Gulu-Gulu Café can be very busy during the weekends. If you already are hungry, this is not the place. The menu got a lot of options, from artisanal coffee drinks to savory sandwiches and desserts. There is a special gluten free menu and a some vegetarian options. Also a cocktails and beer menu. The café's vibrant atmosphere is complemented by live music performances and art exhibitions, adding to its appeal as a cultural hub in the community.
