“First time visiting Marblehead and Mookie’s was the breakfast spot closest to where we are staying. Hubby and I both had an egg, cheese and bacon on an English muffin and pumpkin iced lattes and everything was delish! We’re going back tomorrow for breakfast again!“

And...Robert Simonelli seems to be always there making sure every patron is satisfied and happy and all is well. “We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. “It’s a lovely setting right by the water, so a fantastic place to go on a sunny day.

Beer-wise I tried three. One of the pilsners was excellent, another was decent, then I tried a NEIPA which I thought was actually pretty poor. So overall a little disappointed in the beers given the reputation this place has, but maybe it was just bad luck. I’d stick to lagers on any future visit.

We also had a pretzel and cheese sauce as a snack and that was very tasty.“

“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂“

Service is always friendly and they are always busy doing something, and how can anyone be upset when you walk in and smell freshly baking cookies? The only downfall is that some cookies do sell out fast, so get there early if you have your eye on something popular.“

We went down the road to a busier spot but thought the staff treated us really well while we were there. Thank you!“

“This place is one of the best places I’ve been to in a hot minute! The bottomless brunch and $4 mimosas had my best friend and I making immediate reservations! The staff and management are so sweet and truly care about the service they provide. This really is the place to go and if you haven’t yet you better get on it babe! Visited Fri, 5/15/26, late afternoon.
My wife and I each ordered a flight. No overlap. Beers skewed to the malty but covered IPA. All were good, but midnight (stout) and kolsch and amber rye were all excellent. (Honorable mention to cerveza w tanjin rim!)
Dogs are welcome inside and we felt that right away when Jeff (owner) welcomed us and asked if he could treat our pup.
Service was attentive and helpful in selecting beers, giving good insights to what we would like based on our preferences.
Food options were limited to snacks so maybe come for the beer and great vibes which were both abundant on this late Friday afternoon.

“We had Mr.Petisco deliver food for a baby shower. Mom to be is Brazilian so we wanted to bring a little bit of her home to the party. I had absolutely no idea what to order or how much. We had about 25 people and Lais recommended an incredibly delicious variety of snacks and sweets. They were such a hit we barely had any food left over. The owners are incredibly sweet and helpful and respond to any inquiry quickly. I would like to say Thank you so much for all of your suggestions and delivery which was a huge help! The flavored ones were not overly so - not sweet - and were crafted to represent light flavor alternatives like aperol spritz and lemoncello were the two I tried in a flight. “I love this place. It’s located in the beautiful town of Salem on the water. The setting is perfect. My siblings and I enjoyed appetizers, lunch, cocktails and mocktails at the bar. Great service. One odd thing was that the tv closest to us had an infomercial on dental implants during a good portion of our visit. I’d think someone in management would be paying attention to that. Maybe put a baseball game on? I didn’t mention it because our bartender was busy keeping everyone fed and happy. She was great. They served my delicious fried clams is a plastic bucket which was unusual. All the clams were under the mountain of fries. The awesome bartender got me a big plate so I could empty the bucket and enjoy my lunch.“
