“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂“

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. The only downfall is that some cookies do sell out fast, so get there early if you have your eye on something popular.“

“This is going to sound funny - I'm leaving a review, even though I didn't end up booking my event at Granite Coast Brewing. I had been planning birthday party and the original space fell through. I was in a bind to find an alternate space and reached out to a number of places. I was so impressed how responsive Amy from GCBC was - she was empathetic to my situation and tried to make it work on short notice. Even in just a few interactions she went above and beyond. My experience with Granite Coast was so great that although in the end they didn't have availability for this event, I am hoping to hold an event there in the future!“

Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. It feels like visiting a friend when we come to Heart and Soul....a place that embodies the name of the cafe and an owner who clearly knows what hospitality means.“

The beer was great; but an added bonus was that these guys could not have been nicer to talk to. When I mentioned I brew, and would love to start something up as a new post-retirement career, they were supportive, offered to give any advice they could, and made this such a great visit to a place I didn’t know existed until it turned up on a Google search for “Breweries near me.” I hope to be back in Salem sooner than later, and I will make it a point to stop in and have more beer than I probably should. Since I found this place, it’s where I always go for my coxinhas, the other places around just don’t compare. It’s a small place but worth the ride, you have to try for yourself and see how delicious everything is.“

“Had the best time at finz this Tuesday night. We sat at the bar wich was great not to crowded but still get a decent view of the water. The bartender Terry recommended the crab stuffed haddock wich was delicious she also picked out the most perfect chardonnay to go with it. We came on a Saturday night around 10pm and it was bumping with a dj and a lively crowd.

Drinks were good and food was okay which is fine. We were going more for the drinks anyways.

We did run into a little bit of a pickle where I was charged twice a different amount (I get it. Mistakes happen!) and the manager Chris was awesome and remedied the problem quickly.
