“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂“

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. “I’ve been coming to Richardson’s ever since I moved near here. Never once have I left feeling unsatisfied due to the sheer excellence of their work. The staff are so polite, ordering is easy, and best of all, the ice cream is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect place to come on a hot summer’s day to walk around the farm, enjoying a tasty cone. “We drive 45 minutes to & from to eat at the Clam Box. My husband grew up down the street and I worked in town for 15 years. Plus my parents would take me there as a kid. ALWAYS consistent! ALWAYS delicious. 10 out of 10! Worth the wait in line at peak season every time!“

Service is always friendly and they are always busy doing something, and how can anyone be upset when you walk in and smell freshly baking cookies? The only downfall is that some cookies do sell out fast, so get there early if you have your eye on something popular.“

Staff was super friendly, but I was surprised that we were 2 of 4 patrons in the whole place at 6:45pm on a Sunday. We hired an outside local caterer (oh Jolie), and the 2 collaborated seamlessly. Outside patio adds so much space to your event. The guests enjoyed the beer and seltzer selections, and they had non alcoholic drinks as well. Shout out to the amazing AMY who helped from start to finish.“

Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. It feels like visiting a friend when we come to Heart and Soul....a place that embodies the name of the cafe and an owner who clearly knows what hospitality means.“

The beer was great; but an added bonus was that these guys could not have been nicer to talk to. When I mentioned I brew, and would love to start something up as a new post-retirement career, they were supportive, offered to give any advice they could, and made this such a great visit to a place I didn’t know existed until it turned up on a Google search for “Breweries near me.” I hope to be back in Salem sooner than later, and I will make it a point to stop in and have more beer than I probably should. I tried the Willy wonka experience and it was so good I wouldn’t even share it with Sydney Sweeney. Ended up catching a word with the owner and he told me he gets everything local and uses only the freshest ingredient's. He told me his favorite is Hog Island and Tree Sap which I will try when I go back. Overall 5 Big BOOMS and would recommend to everyone.“

I really wish I lived closer because I definitely would be. The selection was vast without being too much. He suggested this offer they had with four glasses of 4 oz pours so we could try multiple. It was perfect! I highly recommend the slushies!!!! There's seating inside and bar seating in an open garage type setting, the breeze felt great. There's also a very roomy outdoor seating area with umbrellas. With it being a five minute ride from downtown Salem, amazing staff, great pricing, and perfect atmosphere it is now a must go every time I'll be in the area. I just wish I didn't have to drive home so I could've stayed longer and tried the other slushies flavor. Aside from the slushies 1626 was my favorite.“

“We had Mr.Petisco deliver food for a baby shower. Mom to be is Brazilian so we wanted to bring a little bit of her home to the party. I had absolutely no idea what to order or how much. We had about 25 people and Lais recommended an incredibly delicious variety of snacks and sweets. They were such a hit we barely had any food left over. “It was my first time at the new location and wow it’s huge! Like the 3x the old one.

We came on a Saturday night around 10pm and it was bumping with a dj and a lively crowd.

Drinks were good and food was okay which is fine. We were going more for the drinks anyways.

We did run into a little bit of a pickle where I was charged twice a different amount (I get it. Mistakes happen!) and the manager Chris was awesome and remedied the problem quickly.
