We did a make your own sundae bar for Teacher Appreciation Week and it was a huge hit(60)! Working with Joe to get everything ordered and organized was a piece of cake! He was so helpful with suggestions and always replying back so quickly. Liz delivered to our school and was so helpful, showing me how to use the warmer and even helping to unpack the ice creams into the freezer. This is primarily a quick-serve take out restaurant, but they do have a handful of tables inside. They also serve breakfast too under another name. I tried their fruit compote (juice) which is house made with real fruit and it was delicious. Owner was the only one working and he was very nice.“

“The fruit tea was a lot better than expected, especially since it’s a poke shop and not exclusively boba. I got the strawberry fruit tea, mulberry, mango, and passion fruit pineapple. Unlike most boba stores in the area, all the drinks used fresh fruit and the tea flavor was not bad. This is my go to spot here. Compared to a lot of other places I’ve been (that specialized in tea and boba) this is one of the best ones in the area. I haven’t tried their milk teas yet, but I heard it was good!

When we ordered takeout, they put our drinks the fridge. The staff was super friendly ; once when I picked up my drinks the cup exploded and they remade my drink for free.

The poke bowls are also pretty good, the fish texture is fresh and not too fishy. The rice base is also cooked perfectly and seasoned, unlike the nearby poke shops. I also for a generous amount of toppings!“

P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.

Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.“

Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US.
