This is primarily a quick-serve take out restaurant, but they do have a handful of tables inside. They also serve breakfast too under another name. I tried their fruit compote (juice) which is house made with real fruit and it was delicious. Owner was the only one working and he was very nice.“

“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.

P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.

Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.“

I believe this is a small, family owned business: they are always attentive to your order, they will even call you to confirm if you want a specific topping or not! “My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

Unfortunately, the waitlist timer is still way off, which makes planning to get there on time a bit challenging. The first time, I joined the wait list, it showed 30-60 min but our table was ready in 10 min or so. the next time, it showed 30-60 min but our table was not ready within that time frame.

Since we discovered this restaurant last month we have already eaten here twice. The food, the atmosphere, the seating is so amazing and so authentically Japanese. We loved the ramen, takoyaki and pop corn chicken. Make sure to reserve in advance as they get busy even on a working Tuesday..“

“I had my Daughter’s bridal shower at the Long Cross. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The venue provided linens and flowers for the tables. We had complete use of the back part of the restaurant and patio. They allowed us to set up a balloon arch and backdrop for pictures, and several tables for displays and games. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I would recommend having your party or shower there.“

4stars because They are pricey. $3.08 a macaroon for if you buy a box of 12 macaroons for $37.
I wouldnt mind if the macaroons were larger though.
