I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. “Shu DaXia’s hotpot was a surprising hit and my friends actually prefer it to Liuyishou or Qiao Lin now. The main reason is that they offer a vegetarian version of the spicy Sichuan pepper broth, which the other places didn’t have, I really enjoyed the Shiitake chicken broth as well. The crispy fried pork appetizer was delicious, and I loved that the restaurant felt clean and had a coat check. It wasn't too crowded when we went, which made the whole experience even better.

The meats were cheaper priced to the other hotpot restaurants in Boston which was nice.“

“Three of us went in yesterday around 11:45 for a quick lunch and we were all very happy: I had the cold turkey sandwich on a challah roll, the coleslaw and a secret dressing were on the sandwich and it was delicious. I'm also not a huge lover of pickles, but the nice big one accompanying the sandwich was good!

Other dishes were the chicken salad on a bagel and a bagel, schmear and veggies. Katie (I think that is her name???) took our order and brought it out as soon as it was ready, as well as checked in with us to see how everything was.

We sat along the window for people watching, Washington Square never disappoints! Embarrassed to say it was my first time in, but definitely will not be the last!“

“I love StockYard. We haven't been in a long time as we moved faraway. Now, after 10 years we came back and it was like we never stopped coming to eat here. The food was super delicious. The NY Sirloin, and the tenderness of the Fille Minog was extraordinary. Outstanding customer service. The drinks were superb. “This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. Even the tea was good. Bathroom was clean. Food was fresh. And try the thousand layers honey cake. I think everyone will find something to like here. If I am ever in Providence, I will 💯 go again.“

“This place was just SO good. They sell a variety of things, but most notably, the shaved ice. We ordered the mango sticky rice shaved ice, which was definitely the most popular as all the people next to us ordered the same thing as well. The shaved ice was the most perfect, milky, melts-in-your-mouth texture, the mango pieces ripe and soft, and the cream on top the perfect hint of being lightly sweet. We personally found the complementary mango syrup to be too sweet for our tastes, but that’s just personal preference. Highly recommend. We thought the portion was perfect for 3 people, but I’d say each bingsoo could be eaten with 2-4 people. They’re each around $13-16 so it’s relatively affordable when splitting.

Service was so good. The girl working and bringing us food was just so sweet and kind. The man working (who we assumed was the owner) was so eager and sweet as well. The food came out super quickly.

Atmosphere was definitely more of the late night hangout vibe when we went. It was loud, semi-packed, casual, but we were still able to hold conversation and it fit the vibe. During crowded peak times, it’s definitely more of an eat and leave place rather than a sit down for a few hours type, so just keep that in mind!“

“The fruit tea was a lot better than expected, especially since it’s a poke shop and not exclusively boba. I got the strawberry fruit tea, mulberry, mango, and passion fruit pineapple. Unlike most boba stores in the area, all the drinks used fresh fruit and the tea flavor was not bad. This is my go to spot here. Compared to a lot of other places I’ve been (that specialized in tea and boba) this is one of the best ones in the area. I haven’t tried their milk teas yet, but I heard it was good!

When we ordered takeout, they put our drinks the fridge. The staff was super friendly ; once when I picked up my drinks the cup exploded and they remade my drink for free.

The poke bowls are also pretty good, the fish texture is fresh and not too fishy. The rice base is also cooked perfectly and seasoned, unlike the nearby poke shops. I also for a generous amount of toppings!“

He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.

Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.“
