One of my favorites in Somerville. This lovely pinnbowl place feels both ancient, relaxed and family-friendly.The pizza the serve - baked in a giant wood fueled oven are awesome. Good drink selection.Very relaxing place to spend a couple of hours.
On my visit to the Boston area, one of the main things I wanted to do was go candlepin bowling. We had to wait a bit for a lane to open up but when there’s delicious pizza and drinks, it’s not a problem. When a lane did open up, the staff were so friendly and helpful in getting us set up. Not sure if it’s common practice but they kept the lanes open til 12 instead of 11. Regardless this place is a gem and the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating.

We had a blast trying candle pin bowling for the first time! Such a cute and friendly establishment. Alexander and Jim were great hosts and very helpful as it was our first time.
