It’s always so refreshing to walk in somewhere where every employee you meet clearly loves their job! We had an awesome Saturday night at Sacco’s.

This is a great place for groups and families. It’s overall a great time for bowling and nice little novelty experience if you haven’t tried it before. We only had two people so it might not have been worth it but we enjoyed it anyway. I actually liked the paper scoring but I can see why people would prefer automated.Unfortunately the lanes next to use kept breaking and it affected us getting enough balls, at one point our lane just had one and we kept having to wait for it to return to finish our turn. Other lanes had plenty and it would have been nice to have a staff member try and make it more even (further annoyance was that when we saw another lane only have one we gave a few of ours…? not realizing it would break and we would be down to one). We eventually just lost steam and finished up within the hour.Food service: extremely quick food service, and friendly staff. No complaints here.Food: the pizza was good, not amazing. They could have had more toppings for the speciality pizzas. We also ordered a drink which was ok. We finished the night off with dessert and got a lemon blueberry whoopie pie with ice cream. I kid you not, the whoopie pie tasted like Entemann’s little bites that you get at the grocery store. The lemon cream was way too sugary. I appreciated the whole locally sourced ingredients and the high quality… but it’s gotta taste good too.Overall we enjoyed the experience but it’s not my favorite.

We are visiting from out of state and wanted to try candlepin bowling on the advice of a local. Wow, lots of fun! I wish they had this elsewhere in the country! Great, chill place with awesome local draft beer selection and friendly service. Also my kids loved the draft root beer. I snuck a taste and it is indeed fantastic.

We had a blast trying candle pin bowling for the first time! Such a cute and friendly establishment. Alexander and Jim were great hosts and very helpful as it was our first time. Our waitress was very kind too. Yummy flatbread pizza and drinks. The bowling is fun, fast paced, and so unique. You learn self scoring and they provide the scoring sheets & pencils. You can get food and drink delivered to your bowling area. I highly encourage reservations but they are also flexible with walk in if you arrive early enough! Would totally go back and definitely recommend for some different and fun.

One of my favorites in Somerville. This lovely pinnbowl place feels both ancient, relaxed and family-friendly.The pizza the serve - baked in a giant wood fueled oven are awesome. Good drink selection.Very relaxing place to spend a couple of hours.

Great bowling. Great pizza and cocktails. Bumpers and little ramps for kids to use.

Really cool old bowling alley vibes, you could tell lanes and balls needed a lot of maintenance.

A very neat place! The drinks are the bar was delicious and the chicken shwarma flatbread was 10/10! I’m not normally a big pizza person but I could eat it every day ?
