Service is always friendly and they are always busy doing something, and how can anyone be upset when you walk in and smell freshly baking cookies? The only downfall is that some cookies do sell out fast, so get there early if you have your eye on something popular.“

“This was a surprise! We ordered 2 hot and sour soups, 3 kinds of dumplings, and 2 sushi rolls. Everything was excellent! The soup was easily some of the best hot and sour I've ever had including at well-known restaurants in LA and New York. The sushi was very unique and tasted very fresh. The dumplings were fantastic. I highly recommend their soup dumplings. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are large! I'm not from the local area but next time I come back to Danvers I will definitely return to this restaurant! Thank you!“

There was a lot of different kinds to choose from, but I tried several. Have an open mind, they were good, clean beers. The bartender and owner were there just to chat, we talked about their story, their passion for beer, etc. Delicious beer, great company and atmosphere, and great story. I'll be going there again for sure!“

Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. It feels like visiting a friend when we come to Heart and Soul....a place that embodies the name of the cafe and an owner who clearly knows what hospitality means.“

The beer was great; but an added bonus was that these guys could not have been nicer to talk to. When I mentioned I brew, and would love to start something up as a new post-retirement career, they were supportive, offered to give any advice they could, and made this such a great visit to a place I didn’t know existed until it turned up on a Google search for “Breweries near me.” I hope to be back in Salem sooner than later, and I will make it a point to stop in and have more beer than I probably should. “Headed on my way home after a suffering round of golf. Saw the line a mile long so I banged a quick u-uey and waited in line. Boyo that wait was worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I tried the Willy wonka experience and it was so good I wouldn’t even share it with Sydney Sweeney. Ended up catching a word with the owner and he told me he gets everything local and uses only the freshest ingredient's. He told me his favorite is Hog Island and Tree Sap which I will try when I go back. Overall 5 Big BOOMS and would recommend to everyone.“

“We had Mr.Petisco deliver food for a baby shower. Mom to be is Brazilian so we wanted to bring a little bit of her home to the party. I had absolutely no idea what to order or how much. We had about 25 people and Lais recommended an incredibly delicious variety of snacks and sweets. They were such a hit we barely had any food left over. The owners are incredibly sweet and helpful and respond to any inquiry quickly. I would like to say Thank you so much for all of your suggestions and delivery which was a huge help! This place is reasonably priced, moves the line quick, and most importantly has THE best Richardson’s ice cream. My favorite is the peanut butter oreo! Not just dog friendly but dog lovers!
