The homemade pastas that you bite into and your teeth feel that little firmness,😃, the flavors that your palate starts taking on, your brain instantly wants MORE! As you savor (and possibly moan a bit to loud lol) the incredible flavors of something as simple as carbonara, w/prosciutto, red onions & Romano cheese. Every visit, including take-out has been 💯% spot on! Mentioning take out, we recently dined outside, and watched the grubbers (grub hub) mad dashes in and out multiple times! We recognized at least 3 drivers, non stop pickup and drop orders, repeatedly! Thank you so much Little Store for your incredible hard work (when no one wants to work and think they should get everything free🤬🤬🤬) You are what America is built on! From the front of the house to last dish washed, you are all a generous team, so it appears from the outside. Great Job! P.S.Your freshness is duly noted!!! There are desserts, lemon mascarpone 🍰 cheesecake (can’t remember if it’s cake or cheesecake…red, red, wine..) Just stupid delicious at the end of a fantastic meal!! “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“I used this place for lunch on a weekday. My husband and I enjoyed raw oysters, pizza, and tacos. We tried three different kinds of raw oysters, and all of them were fresh, flavorful, and excellent.

There was a mistake with the bill, but when we asked them to check it, the staff responded right away, so I rated the service a 5.

Being able to enjoy delicious food while looking out at the ocean made it a great memory. I think the atmosphere would feel different again in the evening or at night.“

And the food is so good! My wife and I, each got a special, and the portions were huge. Everything was delicious, and their onion rings are awesome. You cannot go wrong, stopping here!“

“I love this place. It’s located in the beautiful town of Salem on the water. The setting is perfect. My siblings and I enjoyed appetizers, lunch, cocktails and mocktails at the bar. Great service. One odd thing was that the tv closest to us had an infomercial on dental implants during a good portion of our visit. I’d think someone in management would be paying attention to that. Maybe put a baseball game on? I didn’t mention it because our bartender was busy keeping everyone fed and happy. She was great. They served my delicious fried clams is a plastic bucket which was unusual. All the clams were under the mountain of fries. The awesome bartender got me a big plate so I could empty the bucket and enjoy my lunch.“

“Been going here since the late 70’s. One of the best roast beef seafood restaurants on the north shore. I moved from Peabody to Florida in 2018 and wish we had a roast beef seafood place that was even half as good. I still visit Peabody once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. Food is still great. Yes it may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I think they are fair, everywhere prices have increased, I would rather pay a little more and keep the quality. Love this place.“

“I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“When I popped into Mike's for a quick roast beef, I wasn't expecting anything special. I eat a lot of roast beefs and have high standards. I have to say, Mike's impressed me. The beef was massive, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was somehow better than it normally is. I highly recommend everyone who likes roast beef give Mike's a shot.“

“My girls and I attempted to eat at the Salem retreat on our first morning of our trip. We waited 20 minutes for a table after watching 7-10 people be seat AFTER we were given a buzzer to wait. We left and came to Dotty & Rays. We got a table as soon as we walked in, had water brought over immediately, drink and food orders promptly taken. The food was fantastic. We had one part of our order missing and once they realized the issue, it was remedied with speed and courtesy. Everyone was very friendly and renewed our experience in Salem. Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees!
