“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. This is the best place to eat in Salem and highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood! Thank you again Turners!!“

“We had a reservation and were seated right away and someone brought over water and bread. After nearly 30 minutes I had to get up to find someone to take our drink order. We were never approached by waitstaff. Our drink order was immediately taken. We soon after put in our apps and entrees bc we were concerned about the wait but everything went smoothly with that. The food was very good. For the second round of drinks the waiter pushed too hard on an up-sale on the wine and then clearly forgot to put the order in. By the time it came we were through eating and it wasn't wanted any longer. It still however showed on the bill and we had to ask for it to be taken off. Great ambiance, good food, great location but based on the service last night we won't unfortunately be back.“

“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“This is one of the most authentic Chinese menu's I've ever seen. If you like intestines and other dishes, this is the place to visit. I'm not into trying those types of dishes but they are available for those that are. They do have many more interesting and tasty dishes to experience as well so please give the place a try.
It does have an interesting way to order that I've not experienced before. The table has a QR Code at the end and each person scans it to see the menu on their phone, which is more and more common nowadays. However, each person at the table get linked to the same portal and when someone at the table selects/adds a dish, it updates each person's view on their phone so the entire party knows what has been ordered. When everyone is done you simply submit the order and your food shows up when it's ready. The food was good and the staff was busy but friendly.“

It’s also super kid-friendly, which made it a great choice for our family. Definitely a restaurant we’d happily visit again!“

“Great oysters. The wine list is great, and service was friendly and professional. The problem was the entrees. Both the halibut (in coconut and saffron) and the crab gnocchi were bland and lacked flavor. They weren't very big either.
I would come back for more oysters and maybe give it another shot.“

“We had a party of 7 and were seated in a semi-private area, near the entrance, behind the host table, which was very convenient for conversation. The food was very good, we tried many different plated from the tapas (crispy potatoes and the sliders were the highlight). We made sure to order the 2 paellas early, because they did take some time to cook. The seafood and the rib paellas were fantastic. We were very lucky to have a great server, she checked in on us often and kept our drinks refilled. The overall experience was excellent for our first time and we would recommend Boqueria to our friends“

“Possibly the best chowder/seafood spot in Boston. I’ve been going here since I was a kid when my dad would take me to Celtics games. We’d always get chowder and oysters before. The food has not changed and is always as flavorful as ever. When I’m at school I come here at least once a week cause it’s my favorite spot. I also have spent half my life in Maine so I know a thing or two about seafood. Come to this place!“

“We had such a great dinner here! The crab cake was an excellent way to start, and both the clam pasta and tuna tartare were fresh and delicious. We added the Brussels sprouts on the side, which were also really tasty. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The whole meal was consistently good from the first bite to the last. “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“Had the best time at finz this Tuesday night. We sat at the bar wich was great not to crowded but still get a decent view of the water. The bartender Terry recommended the crab stuffed haddock wich was delicious she also picked out the most perfect chardonnay to go with it. We also had the crab nachos, ginger maki and a dynamite roll all very good. Between the food, the drinks, the view, and the service finz cant be beat! Best meal of our vacation for sure.“

“Been going here since the late 70’s. One of the best roast beef seafood restaurants on the north shore. I moved from Peabody to Florida in 2018 and wish we had a roast beef seafood place that was even half as good. I still visit Peabody once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. Food is still great. Yes it may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I think they are fair, everywhere prices have increased, I would rather pay a little more and keep the quality. Love this place.“

We had the whole fish that came with sides topped with a fresh Guinness. Everything was expertly prepared. Dessert was through the roof. Great restaurant, attentive staff.“
