“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“The food at the Shy Bird in Fenway was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Dunks with the homemade sauce dips they were all so good we couldn't choose a favorite and the butternut soup was absolutely incredible, with its little kick of spice and sunflower seeds! “This is a mixed bag for me. Tiny place and basic service. I’ve been 3 times, different menu each time. Two of the three times, I found almost all the dishes delicious and interesting (I always have the omnivore menu) m. One time was just bland all around and one dish was very unbalanced and too acidic. It’s BYOB, which I really like (the wine is always excellent, ha ha). I’m so done with QR code menus though.“

“My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! We stopped in and tried the burger, chicken sandwich, tacos, and General Gao's chicken with rice—and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. “I’ve now been to moxies in seaport a couple of times for dinner/drinks, and I can say that overall this is a great place to spend a night out with friends. All of their food options I’ve had have been incredible (nachos, lettuce wraps, burger to name a few). All of the martinis I’ve had have been excellent, but smoked rye drink is my favorite. A little expensive ($20/drink, apps are $20-30ish) but it’s a prime spot in seaport so it’s expected. The bar areas become a lot of fun late night too“

“I'm originally from just outside New Orleans, LA. Came here with a friend and was all too curious that they had Jambalaya on the menu. I cannot stress this enough. Order the Jambalaya. It reminded me of home.“

“Came in from the Midwest on a Wednesday morning and needed to grab lunch. Somehow we decided this was the place to go and we did NOT regret it!

We don't have fresh seafood at home so we ordered food that we wouldn't normally be able to enjoy. Yeah, yeah, lobster is a little spendy, but it was awesome! The lobster BLT was legit!! Dungeness crab appetizer? Also awesome. And why not indulge in a Boston beer while we are at it.

The kicker was the staff. Nate was friendly and answered all of our dumb, Midwest questions. Chatted for a bit and made suggestions. Apparently the owner is his dad. Super nice guy as well. Both of them were welcoming and super friendly. Thank you guys both for kicking off our trip on a very positive note!“

“Wow! This bar is absolutely magnificent. Milkie and Billy have the best, yet vibrant energies around as bartenders! I really recommend it.

Only downside, though, is that fries aren't included with burgers and you would have to pay separately.

Beers are $9-10 per pour, but that ain't stopping me from enjoying a Guinness. Not sure about cocktails. The atmosphere has such 80s-90s vibes that it makes you feel very comfortable. There are regulars here, but that won't even stop you from having a good time.

Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings!
