“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “The most amazing dinner experience we’ve ever had! Theresa made us feel like family and even kept my 7 year old laughing and excited the whole meal. Her food takes you right back to Italy and it’s made with so much love. We traveled from Texas and tried it on a whim - WOW best meal/experience of the whole trip. “I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“Immerse yourself into a hidden world at the Next Door Speakeasy. This bar is small, but perfectly intentional.

We absolutely loved the vibe and the service that we received. The cocktails were great! Between the two of us we got a gin based drink (purple rain) and a rum based drink (lock & key) and some truffle fries. We loved our drinks, and our bartender- absolute top notch service!

This place can get busy, so you’ll need reservations and you’ll need a password to get in. They’ve been open for about five years, so if you haven’t ventured in yet, definitely put this place on your list!

“My husband and I went to Crossroads last night on the spur of the moment - we were pleasantly surprised with everything!! Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings! Accessible beer selection. Buffalo Wings were my ideal Wings style. Sauce carried heat but full of flavor. Breaded and it works for that sauce.

“We came by on our first day coming into Salem, Massachusetts. We came in at about 2:00 in the afternoon and there was a farmers market going on across the street. It was a wonderful lively place to sit and people watch. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, made sure our drink stayed topped off and kept us with great glasses of ice, cold water and on top of all that the lobster roll came out with such a delicate blend of butter and seasonings. It was beautifully put together. No wonder they're number one“

“This is a nice spot tucked away in the beautiful Omni Seaport Hotel. The food was nice, pictured was one of the specials offered, a trio of sliders: a lobster roll, a smash burger, and a Carolina hot chicken. They were quite tasty. The Brussel sprouts and pretzels as appetizers were also delicious. The big screens are great for watching sports. Nice atmosphere overall.“

“A great place to socialize with veterans and civilians alike. They have a luck of the draw every Friday night which can be from anywhere from 15 to 60 people playing darts. The drinks are amazing. Staff is incredible. I recommend booking a function there if it’s available. Fantastic space with handicap parking out front. And a great place to visit overall and they have room in the back for smokers!!

Parking: Huge parking lot across the street from the facility as well as parking on the side street and in front of the building plenty of parking for everyone

I do think they could have more TVs but sometimes they’ll put out a second I think when sports games are on. Since they renovated, the place looks good!“
