During my recent 4-day stay at the Marriott Peabody, I had the pleasure of dining at Sophia’s a couple of times, and every visit was outstanding. I tried the Bam Bam Shrimp one night and the Fish & Chips another, along with several adult beverages. Everything I ordered was excellent.
The Bam Bam Shrimp had a perfect kick of spice without being overpowering, and the Fish & Chips were lightly battered, crispy, and generously portioned. The drinks were also top-notch and paired nicely with the meals.
Sophia’s quickly became one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend stopping in—great food, great drinks, and a great experience overall!“

“My husband and I went to Crossroads last night on the spur of the moment - we were pleasantly surprised with everything!! Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings! “What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! We’ll definitely be back! — eating dinner with my love with Joe Florentino at G Bar and Kitchen.“

“A great place to socialize with veterans and civilians alike. They have a luck of the draw every Friday night which can be from anywhere from 15 to 60 people playing darts. The drinks are amazing. Staff is incredible. I recommend booking a function there if it’s available. Fantastic space with handicap parking out front. And a great place to visit overall and they have room in the back for smokers!!

“Came here on a Sunday night for a quick dinner and everything was great! It's cozier than it looks from the outside. Great spot for date night. Our server was really nice and helped a lot with recommendations. We got the pretzel and sausage starter which came out so quickly and was AMAZING.
