“First time visiting Marblehead and Mookie’s was the breakfast spot closest to where we are staying. Hubby and I both had an egg, cheese and bacon on an English muffin and pumpkin iced lattes and everything was delish! We’re going back tomorrow for breakfast again!“

“Union Cafe has become one of my favorite go-to places in Lynn, MA. My wife and I recently moved to the area and upon visiting Union Cafe, we found the options limited for us due to the fact my wife and I are both vegan. After speaking with the very friendly owner, Charbell, and telling him, though we loved the place, thaat except for muffins, and beverages, there wasn't much for us to eat. He asked us what he could do to facilite us and after brought in Impossible burgers and Felafel wraps, both vegan. It has now become our regualar haunt. The entire staff is very friendly and provides exceptional service. I love when a business owner listens to his customers and responds so well. BTW, my wife loves the felafel and they cook the Impossible burger to order which is fantastic!“

“This is my favorite coffee spot in Beverly. They are always well staffed and friendly, and their baristas are consistent with drink and espresso shot quality. I’ve been here often enough over the past year that I can tell they have good staff retention, which is a good sign that they treat their people well, and I know helps with that quality and consistency.

I recommend their hot chocolate with their house made marshmallow, anything with espresso in it, and their tot bowls. Their tater tots are delicious and any sandwich can be made into a tot bowl.

I would skip the bakery items unless you have a little one, they are the only item type that I’d skip here. That said, I’d love to see babka or homemade poptarts in the case, but am happy with my hot food and iced latte.“

“Lively but fun place. Waited a bit in a line but after ordering the food and drinks came out quickly! We got the fluffy ghost matchas, a north shore sandwich, and a sausage egg and cheese sandwich with herb ketchup. Both sandwiches were to die for (couldn’t even get a picture before digging in).“

“Biked through town from Boston with a crew of 6 on a Saturday morning. This was the only place open before 11 am and I’m so glad it was. Place was packed but service was quick. Got a banana recovery smoothy with an espresso shot added and it was sooo good. They also have gluten free bread and took my allergy very seriously! Will be visiting again!

“First time visiting and felt like family.Just a couple of out of towners looking for a cup of coffee at a local joint. Initially we were completely lost in the meat market/cafe setting until a friendly police officer in the restaurant told us to just have a seat if we were dining in. Shortly there after they were brewing a fresh pot of coffee while we perused the menu. After asking what the soup of the day was, we were brought a sampling of the two soups (chicken vegetable and tomato, both were phenomenal).After over hearing the chicken pot pie had just come out of the oven, we settled on that and the cranberry chicken salad sandwich. The portions were huge.After making sizable dent in our selections the waiter came out with a sampling on their chicken parmesan and meatballs covered in their tomato sauce. The chicken was probably better than anything I’ve had at an Italian restaurant. The meatballs were perfectly cooked. Not too much meat and not too much filler. The tomato sauce was very light and had a good flavor.They next time we are in Boston Cimino’s will be on our list. Tons of great games for all ages and the food was fantastic! Literally everything we had was gourmet quality and up to my foodie 11 year-old’s standards. “The best bagels around and absolutely amazing cappuccino. The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5 on service is because the young girl I constantly get just doesn't seem to want to be there. Don't get me wrong service is fast, orders come out exactly how you ordered them. However, the counter staff taking your order should, at the very least, be pleasant.“
