“First time visiting and felt like family.Just a couple of out of towners looking for a cup of coffee at a local joint. Initially we were completely lost in the meat market/cafe setting until a friendly police officer in the restaurant told us to just have a seat if we were dining in. Shortly there after they were brewing a fresh pot of coffee while we perused the menu. After asking what the soup of the day was, we were brought a sampling of the two soups (chicken vegetable and tomato, both were phenomenal).After over hearing the chicken pot pie had just come out of the oven, we settled on that and the cranberry chicken salad sandwich. The portions were huge.After making sizable dent in our selections the waiter came out with a sampling on their chicken parmesan and meatballs covered in their tomato sauce. The chicken was probably better than anything I’ve had at an Italian restaurant. The meatballs were perfectly cooked. Not too much meat and not too much filler. The tomato sauce was very light and had a good flavor.They next time we are in Boston Cimino’s will be on our list. “Jac’s Café is the ideal small town breakfast/luncheonette. Even with the limited seating, they make it work. They have a huge neighborhood takeout business. I’ve been going here for years and the food has always been fantastic. The service is always friendly and the patrons always respond to each other, including strangers as if you were their neighbor next-door.Their prices are extremely fair and reasonable.This is a great small town gem !“
“Winthrop Center Cafe is so great. Comfortable atmosphere and a lot to choose from on the menu. I’ve been a few times and everything has been really good. Everyone who came in seemed to be a regular as the women working immediately got started on their orders as they walked through the door. Such friendly and funny conversations with each of them. The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“

“Cafe in the AM and brewery in the PM. During the day, the back taproom is a quiet working/studying space, which is amazing. Lots of seats to spread out and many people were working on laptops when we were there, but also many people having conversations. It wasn't too loud. We got breakfast burritos, flavorful drip coffee, and a delicious almond milk latte. Didn't get to try the cookies but they looked amazing. The food was superb and the staff are awesome! The latte came in a generous glass mug, while the omelette was perfection with layers of thinly sliced potato. “Cute place with very friendly staff. I got a cappuccino and a spinach Aussie pie. The Aussie pie was flaky and the texture was great. However, it was slightly on the bland side. That can be fixed by adding salt or ketchup etc. Not bad. The cappuccino seemed to be more milk heavy. None of the stuff was bad by any means, but not necessarily for my preference.“

We got there not too much before closing, but they were just as friendly and accommodating as if we got there first thing. They have a ton of options, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans. I got the breakfast burrito (as I am seemingly always craving one) and my friend got the caprese. I was tempted by the treats they had in the display case, but we opted just to get our sandwich/burrito. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly made. I really appreciated that the egg in my burrito was bodega-style which made it so much less messy to eat. My friend practically devoured her sandwich; she thought the maple balsamic was so tasty and the veggies and pesto were really fresh. She has food allergies and was really happy with how much they laid out what was and wasn't in the food. They had convenient parking and plenty of outdoor tables. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.“

We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

Roast beef itself was just okay, so on my subsequent visit, I got the Italian tuna sandwich. The vegan hot honey "chicken" sandwich was by far the best sandwich I've had in my entire life, so good that I immediately ordered another. Isn't that what one does when one gets the best sandwich ever? If "awesome" weren't so overused a word that it has lost any semblance of its original meaning, I would use it to describe this sandwich. You know how, when you take a bite from some new dish and you get hit with the sensation of something so delicious you just have to sit back in your seat and wish space-time would move more slowly just so you can savor the flavor longer? That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. “I would walk by Andala every single week and was always so curious as to what was inside and I finally did it! It says Coffee House but it also has tons of food options! The upper floor of the restaurant is definitely more cafe-like with people studying, seats by the windows, and the front where you can order coffee and desserts. Downstairs, on the other hand, offers more seating and cozy seats. Because it is a more casual place, the service is a bit inconsistent. We had multiple people come and take our order and didn't really have one server. For food, we ordered the Falafel Plate and Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. The falafel was extremely crispy and crunchy on the outside. The inside was a beautiful green color and full of flavor. The hummus and sauce it came with was also a delight. The star of the show was the shawarma sandwich. Every single bite had me verbally saying "Oh my gosh this is so good." The flavor profiles on the chicken were ridiculously delicious and the tumeric came out wonderfully without being overpowering. It was also so juicy that I could legitimately drink some out of the sandwich (even though yes, that's gross). The pita on the outside was the perfect level of chewy and the pickles in the sandwich cut each bite with acidity. I will definitely be back to try other dishes, or just for the Chicken Shawarma sandwich!“

The raspberry oat bar was nice too, and the carrot cake was very moist and with a lot of cream cheese frosting that wasn't overly sweet.There are seating areas downstairs and upstairs which include bar seats and benches and regular chairs, as well as an elevator to the second floor. The staff were very professional and friendly and we saw them help visually impared customers with great courtesy.The only thing I would skip is the chai latte- it tasted pretty bland.“
