“I stopped by Sorelle Bakery & Cafe near Boston’s Financial District, and it felt like a perfect little spot for a quick breakfast or coffee break. The café has a relaxed neighborhood vibe, with people grabbing coffee on their way to work or sitting down for a casual lunch.
I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, and both were fresh and satisfying. The bakery also has a good selection of pastries, muffins, scones, soups, salads, and sandwiches, making it a convenient place for either breakfast or a light lunch.
The service was quick and friendly, which makes sense since many customers are office workers from nearby buildings. The atmosphere is simple and comfortable—nothing fancy, but a nice place to relax for a few minutes in the middle of a busy downtown area.
Overall, Sorelle Bakery & Cafe is a solid choice if you want good coffee, fresh pastries, and a quick, casual meal while exploring or working in downtown Boston“

“If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, safe, and FUN to go highly recommend. Awesome food and drinks ($5 sandwiches during happy hour!), lovely outdoor patio dining, and there are still games available to play sanitized between people! So happy to come back here again and get the same great service.“

“The food is delicious and made with such care — every dish tastes fresh and flavorful. The pastries are outstanding — flaky, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. The café has a warm, inviting atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and helpful. A perfect spot for brunch, coffee, or a sweet treat. Highly recommend!“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

“Just wow. I was visiting Boston and was staying near the Bean and Leaf Cafe. The food looked delicious online. So decided to go. When we arrived we were greeted and asked if we wanted breakfast or lunch. Gave us an option. We decided to do breakfast and the food tasted so fresh and real. Everything was delicious. I recommend everyone to stop by and have a bit. Thank Bean and Leaf staff 🙏💪☘️“

“I've come here a number of times and I've always had a good experience. This Tatte location is nice and bright with indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors there are a few booths, some tables, and high top/bar seating.
The employees are helpful and quick! The food is good, I particularly like the turkey avocado sandwich and the cherry and cheese danish.“

“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

“Tried several Tatte and this one is special. Food is always perfect and if ever someone has taken my online order, the managers always assist and get is asap. Store is super clean and service is always special. I do like the small talk. Mary, Francesca Gm, Roselyn, Hector always know my order and drinks. Totally worth the daily trip.“

“It's good. The food is not always fresh and tasting well. But it is mostly mid. The kitchen rocks with the dishes. But the up front crossants and desserts could get better. The bottom of the tarts are always too hard, not thoughtfully baked (my spoon can't surpass it) but the dishes are amazing. The service is fast but sometimes they miss important things like forks and knives (maybe too much attention in the balcony but not so much in the clients already sitted). But staff is friendly! The chairs and tables are almost always cleaned. And the music is in good taste, no loud music. I would give 4 stars easily. Good to go once in a while.“

“Food was great, the service was super fast!! The place had a very nice atmosphere. We brought our 1 month baby in and accidently left her bottle behind. A staff member ran us down like Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt to make sure we got that bottle. 10/10 will be back“

“I frequent Cannonball Cafe for coffee and to switch up my WFH atmosphere. The pastries, lattes, iced coffees, and toasts that I have tried have all been delicious, and I always look forward to getting to spend the day at Cannonball when I choose to work from there. I love how the team at Cannonball is always thinking of new and fresh ideas when it comes to drinks and events, from unique lattes to farmers markets on Sundays and a beautiful new patio, they have been a great addition to the neighborhood and it's fun and exciting to watch them grow and develop. Where Cannonball really shined recently is when I called to place a large cookie order for our wedding welcome party. Rachel was happy to take on the order on short notice, and made some of THE MOST delicious cookies I have ever had (chocolate chip with sea salt, snickerdoodle, and sugar cookies with sprinkles.) Our guests loved them, and the 50 cookies that we ordered were gone by the end of the night (and we only had 35 guests!) I would highly recommend Cannonball for a quick coffee, a nice work day vibe, or to bring desserts to for your next party or event!“

“Found the Seaport Cafe a short walk from the conference center. They are allergy friendly, the menu is clearly marked. Coffee is hot and left right at your table. The food was amazing! I had the 3 egg omelette and loved it. What a nice experience and so nice to get away from the crowds at the conference hotel!“

“Four Piece Suit is what makes it worth visiting! We have been following them since the 90s, when they were playing music in Tam O’Shanter pub in Brookline, MA. They gathered a huge crowd the day we saw them for the first time. We were fortunate to get in the pub because they were so famous.“

“First time here. Customer service was great and friendly! As I was still recovering from a cold I wanted a hot drink and asked if it was possible to get the white peach tea hot w/ oat milk and they were able to do that which made me happy! My bf ordered a amaretto sunset which he was also very satisfied with. Lastly, we ordered a chicken club panini which we shared and was also very good! The bread in the sandwich was very fluffy and fresh. Will def be returning here ☺️“

“I was back in Adams Village today (my old neighborhood) and as I crossed Gallivan Blvd, my 4 year old said “mummy!!!!!!! look at the smiley faced balloons!!!” I pulled over and asked the woman at the register if she would be willing to sell me one of the balloons with my coffee order. She immediately cut one off and gave it to my little boy. It made his day, and the wonderful banana hazelnut coffee made mine. ❤️“

“I always love Tatte, this location is right in the heart of downtown though. Some of my favorites are: chickpea fava plate, tiramisu cake, chocolate mousse, Farro bowl, corn and spinach shakshuka, raspberry tea cake. Portion sizes for plates could be slight bigger.“

“The Tatte in Fenway has a cute, warm interior and a convenient location. It gets very busy, so be prepared to wait for a table, but it's worth it. I loved the lentil soup and the apple crumble cake. It's a great spot for a quick bite or for getting some work or studying done.“
“Lucy and Jane Matcha is a pop-up with a storefront in the Seaport area, right outside of Snowport. They have 2 main types of matcha variety available as well as hojicha, and their menu lists what they recommend for their pairings.
The service was quick, the store is quite small so not many people can be in there at once, but the drinks came out fast.
We got the cloud matcha with the jane matcha powder. It was a little on the sweeter side, but we still enjoyed it. The matcha had a good ratio and good color, and overall was a good matcha.“

“I’ve been coming here regularly (about every other week) for months now, but the banana bread latte is what prompted me to finally write a review. Their sandwiches are good, the croissants are yummy when heated up, I always had a pleasant and satisfying experience. But the banana bread latte blew my mind. I love that they put little pieces of real banana in there. It isn’t too sweet but still feels like the perfect little treat. It’s so good, I cannot wait to go back and get it again. 10/10 would recommend. Everyone who works here is very sweet, too.“

“I don’t know how I’ve missed this place in the past 4 years I’ve been coming to my hair stylist nearby, but I’m so glad I know about it now. Got a cappuccino and the new smash burger and both left me wanting to go back for more. Coffee was good and well made, and something about the burger just made me wanna eat 5 of them lol.
This place is cute, it’s spunky, and it’s well priced. Genuinely loved it all and will definitely be back.“

“This Tatte location has genuinely become one of my favorite spots in Boston, and I want to take a moment to share why.
First of all, the space itself is wonderful. Unlike some of the smaller, more cramped Tatte branches, this one is generously spread out — there's room to breathe, and finding a table is almost never a struggle. The interior ambiance is beautiful: I especially love the floor tiles, the natural light, and how warm the whole place feels. Around sunset, the light hits this place in the most gorgeous way — it almost feels cinematic. Highly recommend coming by in the late afternoon if you can.
But what really sets this branch apart is the staff. The people working here are genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. They don't just take your order — they ask how your day is going, they smile, they engage. It's the kind of small human interaction that's becoming rare these days, and it honestly makes me feel good every time I walk in. I leave in a better mood than I arrived, and that says a lot.
The branch is also impeccably clean, and the attention to detail is obvious. Whether it's the management or the team culture here, something is being done right.
I usually go for a coffee and an almond croissant — which I absolutely adore. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but the pastries here genuinely taste fresher and better to me than at other locations. The products are probably the same chain-wide, but there's something about this branch that elevates the whole experience.
It's a little bit of a walk from my place, but I happily make the trip every time because it's worth it.
A huge thank you to all the staff and management here — you're doing something special. 5 stars without hesitation. See you again soon!“

“Tatte bakery is a great place to get light breakfast brunch and lunch. as a first timer to anyone, I would recommend the turkey blat… only because you cannot add to anything that’s the owner has on the menu. You can but there’s limitations and it’s based on what the owner wanted as additions. To me it’s a interesting restaurant because if it fuse it, it’s culture. Or should I say that the owner wants you to enjoy what she thinks goes together. I don’t know. I just liked some of the stuff for what it is. I love their cheesecake too.“

“We luckily found an easy street spot right out front on a Saturday. Small interior. Cash Only. they have an extensive coffee menu, and a food menu (that I was too distracted to look at). They were quick and kind. They do have an ATM inside, too. I tried the French Twist with cream and it was delicious.“

“On 04/18/2026, my family and I were visiting Boston and were walking looking for a place to grab a coffee. We stumbled upon KoKo , we tried going in, but unfortunately, it was 15 minutes after they had closed, so the door was shut. The barista came to the door to offer his apologies and saw how sad we were to find out they had closed. So, he said that if we only wanted coffee, he would do it for us. Not only did he brew two Americanos for us, but we also ordered two baked goods, and he took the time to warm them up for us even though he didn’t have to. He was so friendly, and his kindness made my day. Now we’re back home but want to recommend this spot for coffee for anyone in Boston. The coffee was delicious, and the carrot cake as well. Thank you for going the extra mile for us!!“
