“Coleen will immediately make you feel part of her community. We popped in for brunch on a recommendation and we're so happy we did. Small town community feel in the heart of Brookline. Excellent food, fair pricing, owner operated; and you can see she's well loved in the community. I will always come back here if I'm in the area looking for a bite to eat and a break.“

“Unique and beautiful interior with very friendly and welcoming employees. Food is above and beyond what you would expect from a coffee shop, not reheated frozen food. You can tell their cold brew isn’t from concentrate and uses quality beans. 11/10.“

“Great bakery and coffee shop to visit on a morning alone or with friends. Both the line and seating is deceiving because it looks quite busy and like seating or ordering me take a while but both move very quickly! The pistachio lattes to die for!“

“Cafe Itadaki is having their soft opening until August 4th.
I tried the Omurice. The server brings it out to you and cuts it open as well, resulting in the signature pour seen with omurice. I thought the dish was very good, not much to elevate it but the sauce included tastes decent with it.
I also tried the original omurice, which was pretty good as well. It only includes ketchup as a sauce, but the included meat and rice was good.
We also tried the onigiri, which had good portions and was affordable for what they offered.
Not sure if the price will change when they do open, but the prices here lean a bit cheaper than other places, and the portion size here is decent.
I definitely will want to try and go back once the restaurant opens.“

“This is not a cafe that will give you the experience of a Starbucks or Tatte. If you value niceness and accommodation from the staff over a serious consideration for good coffee you’d be better off going elsewhere. The owner makes great coffee in my opinion, and there are not a lot of places in the neighborhood that do. The only drawback is that the taste goes downhill for me whenever another barista is working there, which has sadly been pretty often lately. They always have fresh specialty coffee beans though which is awesome. Also lots of cafes do reusable cup only days, some of these complaints are just sounding ridiculously entitled.“
