“This might be long. So, I work at Starbucks in Allston. I love the people at my store, but a few days ago I went to the Tatte near Kenmore I think it was, and I loved the food and atmosphere. Then I tasted the cold brew. I only ever drank Starbucks bc I work there and never drank coffee until I started working there, so I never knew any other way of coffee life. I have heard people say that it’s Acidic but didn’t know what to compare it to. Until I stepped into Tatte and had a taste of heaven via morning bun and cold brew. That’s why I came here today. What really stood out today was Henderson. I hope I spelled this right. He was so positive and friendly when he handed me my food! I really enjoyed talking to him and I am really impressed with his ability to multitask (having such a meaningful conversation while working fast and accurately) I struggle at my job to be so conversational while making things but love to talk at register. Everyone here seems like they thoroughly look forward to coming into work. He even put a sticker on my beverage without me asking like he read my brain! This is the kind of customer dedication and positive energy is really what just opened my eyes on what it feels like to want to return to a place. I might be struggling financially, but it is so worth it to know I have an amazing spot to take myself to for a treat both mentally and physically. I would like to add that he is a light in this world that I wish to see more of! You guys are lucky to have him!“

“Fig is the best! Their takeout window basically got me through the pandemic, and I feel very lucky that this is my local. As a certified scone-hater, their blueberry scone is the best I've ever had. I recommend their lattes, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches (the cheddar cheese is SHARP), and chia pudding. Their lunch sandwiches are also great. 10/10 for staff, vibes, food, and coffee.“

“This is a great little coffee shop with good coffee and great vibes. There is a good amount of seating available despite the small space with a few bar stools. Both baristas were very friendly and helpful to myself and another international customer. They gave both of different ideas for places to visit and see while we were in town. The food looked great but I did not eat there so I can’t really rate that side of the business.“

“What a cozy little place and such beautiful cakes! Plus, it's run by a Southeast Asian girl, so they're not too sweet!!

Thai Tea Cake: The Thai milk tea flavor is balanced and delicate. The cake itself is soft yet slightly coarse, and the cream is smooth and creamy. It's very pleasant to eat.

Ube Latte: It tastes like the ube milk tea or ube ice cream cones I used to eat as a child, but it's not as sweet, and you can taste the good quality milk.“

“I visited this shop for the first time today, and the atmosphere was both cozy and tidy! The staff were incredibly friendly. The owner, in particular, was exceptionally helpful—he gave me all the pens in the shop for free, helping me solve a major work problem! He said he didn't need any thanks from me! “Casual cafe that sells high quality french/ Mediterranean inspired pastries and entrees. Love the shakshuka, its a must have!!! Brownies and pistachio tart was yummy. There's so many of them in Boston, you can pretty much find it no matter where u are.“

Just a hop in from right off the main streets, they had a really nice selection of coffee, teas, pastries, soups, salads, etc. It’s very cozy inside with tables, chairs and low lighting. It was decently quiet inside, and the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got two pistachio lattes and they were incredibly good. Not too heavy on flavoring and they didn’t taste artificial. Overall, a nice stop for a bite and drink.“

“I have learned that the founders of this place are all from IT and wanted to provide nice vocational opportunities for their autistic son and the neighborhood. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the place is worth supporting as a Neighborhood institution. Try the veggie wrap.

“We were on a trip and found this Cafe during our walk through the historic places in Boston. It offers delicious pastries, various breakfast sandwiches and lots of options for coffee and tea. Their orange juice is spectacular and the closest one to a real orange juice I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is a little small for the number of the customers but there are also chairs and tables outside. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the Honey Halva Latte we had were so delicious.
