“My family discovered the TapTap by chance, when my teen’s phone quit working during an outing and he needed to call home for help. The proprieters very kindly allowed him to use their phone, and while he waited for pick-up, he ordered some food. We ended up enjoying a delicious and generous rice bowl and beef and chicken pasties. So flavorful!! We are so glad to have found this fantastic gem, and plan to return for more!“

“This is a really neat cafe inside an old building. It has a very 1950s feel because of the decor and architecture. But it's a modern espresso machine that made my visit so enjoyable. I had a really great latte! I would love to live in the neighborhood and stop by and hang out at this place for an hour every day!“

“Compliments to the chef! I ordered catering through Rita's for my birthday dinner. It was very last minute but they were able to make it happen! Fiona, though very busy (holiday season) was so supportive throughout the process. The food was AMAZING!! Everything was tasty - no salt or pepper needed - absolutely flavorful. The apps were great - tequila lime chicken skewers, beef skewers, crab cakes, shrimp and charred corn, citrus scallops - all delectable! For the main dish, they recreated this sea bass dish with bouillabaisse, clams, and potatoes! Again, super tasty!! Would recommend them for any small or large gathering - true professionals!!“

They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. It's truly a neighborhood gem that I want to gatekeep so badly but will not because everyone deserves this level of stellar dining and the team here deserves to succeed! The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“
