“Not from the area, but we went to a coffee roasting event and the owner recommended checking out Moody St. My friends and I first saw Amuleto when driving too Moody St. We all like Mexican, so agreed to try it. This place did not disappoint. They seemed short-staffed at that moment, but they waiter managed just fine. Great food and drink selection and my friends are vegetarians and had no issues choosing their lunch or apps. Overall, the place is really nice inside and the food was great!I'm down in the New Bedford area and we have our fair share of great restaurants, but I would come back here again, with more friends.”

“I would have taken a picture of the food I got, but it smelled so good that I ate it immediately. I was so impressed by this place that I would eat here all the time if I didn't live 3.5 hours away from it. That being said, if I find myself in the area again, I would come back any time. “Best banh mi I’ve ever tasted! We tried the shrimp and the fried chicken versions, both were very fresh with flavorful sauces. The bread had the perfect amount of crunchiness on the outside and soft butteriness inside. The ube taro boba tea and ube taro iced lattes were also phenomenal. This place is a real gem!”

“This was my first time trying this restaurant and the food was delicious and melt in my mouth feeling. My friend had been here before and we had the same waitress as the friend had used before. The staff was friendly and helpful with any of the needs we needed. There was also a space to eat outdoors if we wanted to and had various music playing as we ate and nice to hear. Had a great first visit and will come back to try something else once again.”

“I have been nothing but happy with my ordering from AK's. The delivery charge is minimal and the delivery is super quick. Even when I order around lunch time, with the order tracker, I can see it leave the restaurant promptly. Each delivery driver has been very friendly. I am in love with the soup of the day! Worth it, all around!”

“Saturday date night with my wife. We didn't have a reservation but wanted to try it after seeing it on the phantom gourmet. The staff was very accommodating and got us seated right away. At first we ended up at the bar and enjoyed the Italian wedding soup and some arancini. Later they were able to move us to a table after a no-show reservation.For my main course I had the Pollo con crema and my wife had the vegetable risotto. Both dishes were excellent and we had enough leftover to take home.For dessert I had the Iris which is a fried donut stuffed with fresh ricotta and lemon zest. My wife enjoyed a pistachio canoli.Price was reasonable but there is a charge for paying with a card. The building is beautiful and the bathroom was spotless. Can't wait to go again.”

“Once again, my fave in Waltham did not disappoint. Had Dinner on Saturday with my wife and two friends. Made early reservations but the place was packed with Head of the Charles people. I held low hopes as with that amount of people, things usually get screwed up. They did not! Everything came out on point PERFECT! My wife loves tapas style dining, so we shared Tuna Tacos, Short Rib Tacos, Crab Cakes, and Tuna Poke. Everything was amazing. There was a great vibe in the room, and we had an awesome table up front. Our waitress was fantastic, the drinks were great, and we had a great time. Thank you once again for a fantastic evening!!! May be back tonight :)”

“For our date-night we chose to return to Da Vinci Waltham, and were not disappointed. We like to sit side-by-side, and Da Vinci takes reservations for bar seating, so that suited us well. The efficient and friendly bartender took great care of us as we made our way through Caprese (*truly* delectable cheese!), Scampi (the pasta was a wow, and plump shrimp completed the dish nicely) lamb chops (very delicate flavor, bountiful portion with a full meat/potato/vegetable dinner) and pistachio cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious, and served timely but unhurried in the order we requested. Modest noise level was fine (though sometimes they have large parties that can get a bit raucous). Wines by the glass did not disappoint, especially the lovely Sangiovese we had with the lamb.”

“After checking in the hotel in Waltham, Massachusetts the front desk provided a list of all, and I mean all the restaurants in the area. In settling for a choice we chose Charcoal Guidos on Moody Street. Fearful that a Friday night would be very busy, we were pleasantly surprised to be given a table right away. Service was prompt, professional and pleasant from the attendant providing water and then Juan who provided great service through the meal. Arancini was tasty, mussels in a tomato broth pleasing, and the gnocchi with a bolognese plentiful and very good. Overall just a very good meal from start to finish. Kudos to Juan for making sure we were happy with our meal without perching at our table the whole time. Recommend this place for anyone seeking excellent Italian food in a pleasant setting.”

Management stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were enjoying everything. The steaks were incredible. I got a flat tire pulling into the parking lot, so Joe and Zach both went above and beyond to change my tire. I had the best experience possible. If you don't go to this location for your next night out, you're really missing out.”

“Small old timey diner with good basic breakfast fair. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 kids and were seated right away. They only have small booths and bar seating so don't show up with more than 4-5 people or you'll be out of luck. Kids french toast and pancakes came out really quickly and were enjoyed! The turkey club was nothing amazing but hit the spot. Total bill was very reasonable for what we ordered. Will come again!”

“Popular ice cream spot - first visit it was later in the evening 9pm Small waiting line - employees appeared busy. Plenty of happy faces sitting enjoying their cold treats of ice cream I don't often order a Sundae, this was that rare occasion. I ordered a grape-nut ice cream Sundae with chocolate fudge topping and this did not disappointment They offer small, medium and large portions Below is a medium- a small would be enough Go pay them a visit. I am positive that you will come back again ....”

“I’ve tried a lot of bubble tea in the area, and this is by far the best. The tea quality is great (especially the Hong Kong milk tea - seriously delicious!), and they put plenty of boba (that is chewy and fresh!) in each order. The staff are also very kind and efficient, and if you order multiple teas, will pack them perfectly in a cute reusable bag with straws inside. My only other wish for this place is that I so wish they had matcha, which is my favorite flavor and go-to tea, but the quality here is so superior I’ve been willing to switch flavors most of the time to come here!”

“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!”

“I have been frequenting this McDonald's drive thru for years. The service is consistently friendly and the food consistently properly prepared. There seems to be ample parking for eating in but I've only been inside once when the drive thru line was very long and it turned out to be faster picking up the order inside. I gave the atmosphere 4/5 because the inside wasn't particularly inviting and mostly filled with teenagers who just seemed to be hanging out.”

“Never in a million years would I rave about a Burger King, but this one is really good. My Whopper was fresh and not soggy like it usually is, and the ambiance is terrific with lots of sunlight and great comfortable tables.This is the one to go to. I actually enjoyed eating there.”

“This was my second time eating at this KFC. The first was so unpleasant, I didn't want 2 go back. But in all honesty, that first time was several years ago. So, I took another chance and went back hoping it was under new management. I don't know if it is but I was hungry and didn't feel like cooking. I noticed the front area was rearranged so maybe they are under new management. In any event, the staff were very personable and helpful. I always look 4 a smile and I wasn't disappointed. I got a 2 piece chicken w/mashed potatoes and gravy. I like dark meat so I had a chicken leg. I was disappointed; it was cooked 2 long making it taste horrible. People have 2 learn how 2 fry chicken. It doesn't take much especially if it's deep fried. The leg tasted like card board not that I have eaten card board. On the other hand, my second piece of chicken was part of the thigh and that was very tasty. The mashed potatoes w/the gravy was also tasty. So, in short, I will try them one more time but this time I will check the chicken before I leave. Popeye's chicken is the only place that I can say really knows how 2 cook chicken.”

But one thing that really sets them apart is their active involvement in being a part of the community through supporting local non-profits and collaborating with local businesses to make their neighborhood a better place, a better community. Buy their Common Good Cup of coffee, and they will give you a choice in where a portion of the proceeds of that cup goes with one of their three spotlighted and always changing charities or non-profits detailed on their wall. Your morning coffee can do good.”

“Oh God, the food is so good. They make the dish that I would say, after weeks of evaluation, is the best thing I have ever eaten. The food is 100% a reason to visit, but it checks all the boxes for me. Staff is warm, regulars are nice and chill, it's open and bright, they do events, good cocktails, and plenty of TVs. If it had a pool table I'd ask to move in or possibly propose marriage to the chef.”

“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.”

They are extremely friendly unlike the other place in Waltham, this small corner shop bake them fresh everyday ! I didn't see mountains of baked buns piled , only small batches were made when I got to the store. I wasn't expecting much but the bread is soft and moist, what a nice surprise! And who doesn't appreciate freshness ?”

“As a Waltham local, this is my favorite bubble tea shop in town. My go-to drinks are the Wintermelon Milk Tea with Herbal Jelly and the Coco Cream WOW Milk Cap. I tried their Almond and Taro Milk Teas, but they tasted too powdery for my liking. They have a BOGO deal on Wednesdays which makes coming here even sweeter!”

Didn't have to eat again for another 10 hours. $25 with tip. Outrageously good. I'll be going back. Only issue is it's cash only, which I didn't realize till I got my check lol.”

“I’m a Gringo & don’t speak a lick of Portuguese. But this is one of my favorite restaurants in Massachusetts. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but the buffet is incredible, and the selection of meat is outstanding. I always overfill my plate with fruit, vegetables, and meat, and the price is consistently around $20 for me. Whenever I’m in the Waltham or Newton area, this is my go to place for lunch. Incredibly friendly people. Parking isn’t always easy, you may have to drive around the block a couple of times to find street parking. But well worth it!”

The efficient and friendly bartender took great care of us as we made our way through Caprese (*truly* delectable cheese!), Scampi (the pasta was a wow, and plump shrimp completed the dish nicely) lamb chops (very delicate flavor, bountiful portion with a full meat/potato/vegetable dinner) and pistachio cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious, and served timely but unhurried in the order we requested. Modest noise level was fine (though sometimes they have large parties that can get a bit raucous). Wines by the glass did not disappoint, especially the lovely Sangiovese we had with the lamb.”

“My family has been going here for a long time. There have been times when dishes weren’t as good as we expected them to be, but for the most part their food is good.My favorite dishes are the vegetarian leek pie (it’s not really leek, it’s a vegetable called 韭菜, “chinese chives”), any dumplings, smoked taiwanese-style duck, moo shi, bean curd with green mustard, chinese squash with nagaimo, and pork and pickled napa hotpot.I like their eggplant with pork or basil, but sometimes there’s way too much oil (the eggplant will be swimming in oil soup). I also prefer my beef scallion pancake rolls with scallion inside, not leek, so I would keep that in mind if that’s a dish you order at other restaurants. Anyway, I recommend ordering different dishes to see what you like! Their menu is quite extensive.”

“This was a small event and The Chateau did a fine job of bringing out their classic dishes. All were served at the same time and the room worked well for the group of 30.”

“Chill environment, we went for dinner and left when they closed. Great spot to hang with friends. I do wish there are more parking spots available, street parking was packed and the back parking lot had small spots. Besides an order was was a mistake, everything else was good. Food was delicious. Lots to choose from on the menu. If I had the chance, I'd definitely come back again! Complimentary chips and salsa is a plus too!”

“So far I’ve gone here 6 or 7 times, usually my order is right and my food is made quick, it’s a wendys not much to expect. Inside is usually clean depending the time of day. Staff are for the most part friendly and helpful.Parking: Location is on same property to a Home Depot that has a huge parking lot, but usually there lot is empty.”

“They close 10pm, but they keep pushing customer to get out 20min before 9:40 pm. Somehow, it is not a friendly customer experience I had. But their food test was good.”
