“The food was wonderful. It was authentic. We lived in England for a year and my wife learned to cook Indian meals from 2 friends. A joy to taste authentic food again. 5 stars, A+, 100%!!
Kid-friendliness: Our 10 month old grandson ate everything they had that wasn't spicy and he did great.”
“We celebrated our 49th anniversary at Il Cpariccio and were totally blown away. Although I had made the reservation for the wrong date, they were totally accommodating. The food and service were spectacular. We shared the tuna tartare with homemade potato chips and had the duck breast and halibut for entrees. Our server brought over a few wines to try and found ones that paired beautifully. They brought our shared dessert decorated on a large plate that said Happy Anniversary. All in all, a great evening.”
“Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. So happy we found you Enzina....my new favorite ....can't wait to try other dishes and the canoli too!!! We are so grateful for such a wonderful meal!!”

“I went about 6 pm and there appeared to be only 2 people working, the manager and another worker. A few other customers came in to order while I was waiting, and the manager was obviously a bit understaffed but so professional, apologizing for the wait to everyone, and helping to get the orders out as quickly as possible. Thumbs up for a man who cares about service and customer communication.”

The customer service was great. It was a bit hot in the restaurant and there was a pedestal fan. Perhaps add another, especially for a hot day. The sandwich was excellent. “This is going to be a long one but the short of it? This place is a must-try! I visited with a group in the evening. The drink menu offers all the classic boba flavors you'd expect, along with some unique twists like a soda lemonade drink that was super refreshing on a hot day. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, with plenty of seating, including cozy spots in the back if you want to get some work done as WiFi is available.
We weren’t planning to eat, but ended up ordering the popcorn chicken. It was the perfect snack. Later, we ordered their chicken teriyaki. The food is freshly made by the owner’s mother, which makes the whole experience feel extra special and fresh.
Beyond the food and drinks, this shop is full of surprises: handmade teas, press-on nails, and original artwork created by the owner, who is an incredible artist. You can purchase prints or postcards of their work, which adds such a personal and creative touch to the space. This is a family-owned gem with heart, flavor, and creativity. I already can’t wait to go back!”
“I have been nothing but happy with my ordering from AK's. The delivery charge is minimal and the delivery is super quick. Even when I order around lunch time, with the order tracker, I can see it leave the restaurant promptly. Each delivery driver has been very friendly. I am in love with the soup of the day! Worth it, all around!”
“What's not to love about the Federal? It has such a great vibe, and the food is outstanding. We hadn't been in a while but were greeted by Amanda, who remember our birthdays. Wait what? Top notch service, great music and David Alphonse the owner always stops to chat.”
“This was our first visit. The restaurant has plenty of natural light, space and free parking in back. Our meals were delicious and the portions are very generous! I especially enjoyed the peach panzanela salad and chicken marsala. The service was on point. We will be back!”

“La mejor! After trying several Mexican restaurants on Moody St, I can confidently say THIS IS THE BEST. The tacos are SO flavorful, juicy and delicious! ? and the horchata is perfecto. And though I'm a white girl, I grew up eating authentic Mexican food in Chicago, so I know what's good ????”
“First time trying this place and it was amazing! We got the roasted chicken, plantains, yaroa, and chicken & beef patties. Everything was tasty, and the sauce they gave us was great. Very authentic vibe and the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back!”
“Years ago, when I was a student in Boston, I met Osman in a Turkish restaurant. He was kind, hardworking, and always full of warmth. Seeing him now as the owner of this wonderful Turkish restaurant filled me with pride and gratitude. Osman’s hospitality, generosity, and genuine heart was into every detail of this place, from the warm welcome at the door to the last bite of dessert. And the food is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish has authentic flavors of Turkey, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and made with love. From the tender kebabs to the fresh mezes and perfectly flaky baklava, it was a feast in every sense. You can feel the care and tradition in every bite. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to feel at home, to celebrate friendship, and to savor life. Thank you, Osman, for creating such a beautiful space. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️”
“Takeout review only: the kitchen moves at lightning speed and everything on the menu is authentic and delicious. Highly recommend the "mouth watering" spicy chicken and their lanzhou beef noodle soup is pretty decent too. Just down the street from Mulan, which is easily just as good but with slightly higher traffic and more parking options; I alternate between the two for my takeout options.”
“Great food and good service. The staff seemed very friendly however even though the place was empty, I had to look for help. No biggie for me; just reflecting in this review. The place was clean and decorated nicely. There was parking which helped. I would definitely return if I were in the area.”

“Really nice flavor on the carnitas and cabeza, solid lengua, and terrible carne asada tacos. Would say these tacos are smaller than used to (probably could get at this size and price in Manhattan which is saying something) so would just keep that in mind when ordering”

“Very decent Chinese restaurant. About as good as you’ll get in Boston. The pork fried rice is excellent, with generous meat and great consistency. Salt and pepper ribs are solid, string beans are as you would expect with nice heat. The Shanghai noodles were pretty good but I preferred the other items on the menu. Scallion pancakes were excellent; very crispy.”
“My 8 and 10 year old and I LOVED eating in the restaurant and our whole family loves it as take out and delivery. In particular, my kids loved the ramen saying it's the best they've tasted. We all loved the sushi (SO fresh) and I particularly loved giving the Sushi Chef (who I hear is a master who would love to practice his craft creatively off menu when given the chance :) my loves, preferences and any dietary constraints and he just surprised us w/delicious stuff of his own creation. It's become our favorite!”
“This charming coffee shop is the perfect spot to warm up with a cup of coffee and a quick bite on a cold morning. The ambiance is laid-back, with soft music in the background and immaculately clean tables that invite you to relax. The menu features a wide variety of coffee and tea options, we sampled the latte and mocha—both rich and flavorful, a great start to the day.
For food, we tried the French Croque Madame and the ZenZest Tuna Toast, both of which were delicious and carefully crafted. The pastry selection is equally impressive, with everything looking irresistibly fresh. The Portuguese Pastel de Nata, while good, would benefit from a quick toasting before being served to bring out its full potential.
While the prices are on the higher side (in the case of the sandwiches doesn’t appear in the menu) the overall experience, from the friendly staff to the quality of the offerings, makes it a worthwhile stop. The convenience of accepting credit cards adds to the appeal of this cozy, inviting café.”
“They have some really good beers, they have some other drinks one was a Pina colada it was delicious no idea what it was. It was a cold rainy day so hard to find a comfortable place to relax, they should have more comfortable seating inside.”

“From the food, to service and atmosphere, everything was excellent at this fabulous establishment in the heart of Waltham MA. Serving up delicious lamb and potatoes, or a chicken gyro sandwich - you can’t go wrong on the Greek / Armenian menu.
And thanks to the owner for the incredible hospitality for our party of 7 who sat at the bar, serving up amazing drinks and food and the attention to detail to our party.
Professionally ran and a well deserved 5 star review.”
“First time trying the restaurant and may I say WOW! Amazing place to eat/drink!! Not only was the food tender/hot/delicious tasting, the drinks were great and the atmosphere of the place was a solid 10/10! The gentleman that runs the place is super fun and nice!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, please visit Penang in Waltham!! You won’t regret it!!!”
“This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very professional and the food they serve is so yummy. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.”
“Convenient location, free parking both on street and on premises. As a known rule ,street parking everywhere requires checking the available notices/warning in regard to number of hours required to Park(duration) and where to park.
Parking: Parking available at the back but also street parking is available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair can access the entrance well”
“Never in a million years would I rave about a Burger King, but this one is really good. My Whopper was fresh and not soggy like it usually is, and the ambiance is terrific with lots of sunlight and great comfortable tables. This is the one to go to. I actually enjoyed eating there.”
“This is the best restaurant on Moody! My wife and I came on a whim when they opened a few years ago. We have been coming almost monthly ever since. The food is fantastic. The variety is incredible. Service and atmosphere wonderful and inviting. And the drink menu is extensive, both in delicious cocktails and a sake list we are still working through to this date. Any time we have friends in town, we bring them to Shiki Shabu Shabu as a treat to ourselves and them. Casual dinner at the bar is fun and groups at tables is an experience. This is what Moody has been missing!”

“Absolutely wonderful small bakery. I feel like one of the family every time I go there. I get to try new food specialties from Guatemala! Yum. Today Today it was an amazing tortita. I was planning on taking a photo of it to add to the post but I ate it too soon!!! Yum!!! Totally recommend it.”
“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.”
“A very pleasant surprise. My wife had a side salad, and I had chicken noodle soup. The soup has to be home-made. I haven't had a soup like it in over 20 years. Many Chicago loop deli's used to serve Chickem Noodle like Prime Deli's.
We both had Spaghetti with marinara. It was
a mega portion with two large pieces of garlic bread.”
“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.”
“Keep an eye open for this spot. Great atmosphere as you enter. Friendly and attentive staff that still gives you room to breathe. Chicken sandwich is great but next time I need to dig in to one of those burgers.”
“This place is wonderful!!! Great food, and decor. Even the Ladies bathroom is chill. Shout out to Sam our server who was so cool! Definitely coming back :)”
“My family and I just returned from the Charles River Chapter of the Bay State Council of the Blind Holiday Party at John Brewers. It’s at least the 12th year we have been going there. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The food is always good and they provide braille menus. We all had a great time.”
“I and my husband had a dinner yesterday and food was delicious, Angelo, our server was excellent, real pro. The restaurant by itself gave us a feeling of the real Italy. Thank you!”
“Went in for my birthday dinner. Service was great and the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back again.”
“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!”

“I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.”

“I took my mom to tita’s kitchen for dinner and we both enjoyed it so much. We could smell the aroma of the restaurant from down the street. It smelled so delicious! The food definitely lived up to the great smells. We got tacos and a carne asada plate. I will be back and I will recommend anyone to visit Tita’s Kitchen for some yummy authentic Guatemalan/Mexican food. 5 out of 5 stars!”

“This restaurant was a highlight of a wedding trip to the Boston area. Mia was our server and she was incredible. If she was in the Philly area, I would try to poach her for my hotels. We wer e party of 6, including 2 ravenous nephews. For apps we had Meatballs, Fritto Misto and Arugula Salad - all delicious. Entrees were Lasagne, Grilled Lamb Chops and Orchiette, Chicken Parm and Rigatoni. I would never order Lasagna at a restaurant but the person that ordered it was raving about it and made me try it. The sauce was something that should be bottled and sold - it's so good. The portions were generous and every one of us loved our food. I wish we had more time in the Waltham area because I could have eaten my way through the entire menu.”
“When you walk into Mu Lan it is like you are transported to Taiwan. They have some "Americanized" dishes, however they are known for their authentic dishes. My Chinese friends that also own restaurants told me that Mu Lan is the real deal. I went at lunchtime. Most tables were occupied. I was one of the only non-Asian customers. To me, that's a sign of a great restaurant. As soon as I sat, they brought me over tea, water with lemon, a ramikin of peanuts and a ramikin of pickled cabbage and carrots. A very pleasant start to the meal. My waiter, an older gentleman with glasses was very friendly and was one of the English speaking employees. Part of their menu is written in Taiwanese. Those items had pictures. You can also easily use your cell and Google translate. I should note the restaurant was extremely clean and had nice Asian decor. They give you chopsticks. There is forks/spoons available if needed. I use chopsticks at home so this wasn't an issue. I started with a cup of Hot and Sour Soup. It's a favorite dish of mine and I was curious to see how they did it. Great flavors with the normal fillers like tofu, golden needle, black fungus, egg etc. Had a good amount of heat to clear your nose. My next course was half of the House Duck. Also delicious! Although reading the reviews it sounds like people lean towards the Smoked Duck. I finished with some Cuttlefish Dumplings! These were amazing! I believe the wrapper was black from squid ink. Overall, very happy with the food and the little extras they give you.
When they bring out the bill, they also bring Orange slices!!! Kind of like the pineapple back in the day! They have a large menu with a lot of interesting choices. From a cultural perspective it was really fascinating to watch some of the families eat. Each person would get a bowl of rice. Then the table would get two giant bowls
One looked like a soup. The family members would pick at the big bowls and place items on their rice. After a few bites they would repeat the process.
Definitely worth checking out for great fresh, authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food. Prices were very reasonable! Excited to go back and try something new!
Parking: I didn't have trouble finding street parking!
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly if your kid has an adventurous palette.”
