“Amazing drinks and food in a great environment. Staff and manager went above and beyond. Guacamole with pork chicharton, Sonora ribs, grilled octopus, Carne asada plate. Spicy cucumber Margarita, Mezcalocos ohhh my god just AMAZING. thank you ?”
“We hosted my mom’s retirement dinner here in the Lombardy room with Linda as our server. From the moment we sat down Linda went above and beyond to take care of our large party (which included 5 young children). She was patient and thoughtful with her meal and wine suggestions as well as accommodating with our timeline for the evening- never making us feel rushed. The food was delicious and Vinnie prepared a chocolate raspberry cake that everyone raved about. Michael was quick to respond to emails about planning, etc.
Thank you for making my mom’s night so special!”
“Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. So happy we found you Enzina....my new favorite ....can't wait to try other dishes and the canoli too!!! We are so grateful for such a wonderful meal!!”

“Great food and good service. The staff seemed very friendly however even though the place was empty, I had to look for help. No biggie for me; just reflecting in this review. The place was clean and decorated nicely. There was parking which helped. I would definitely return if I were in the area.”

“Visited today from CT- Have been before and loved the food!! Food was massive and great! Came out super fast too!! Delicious- The Waitress however not the friendliest or attentive… Never came back to offer refills or anything like that… Wasn’t my favorite lol but I would come back and ask for a different server :)”
“The food was wonderful. It was authentic. We lived in England for a year and my wife learned to cook Indian meals from 2 friends. A joy to taste authentic food again. 5 stars, A+, 100%!!
Kid-friendliness: Our 10 month old grandson ate everything they had that wasn't spicy and he did great.”
“Went in to try their Banh Mi and came back the next day to try their pho! I got the BBQ banh mi and it was delicious! If you don’t like a spicy kick then i suggest not getting the jalapeños. The crispy rolls were a really nice side too. Came back the next day for the brisket pho and it was light, tasty, and the portion was just right. The service and the vibe were perfect too. Down to earth people and great instrumentals in the background. I don’t live around here but if i did i would come here all the time! On top of everything the prices are cheap”

“I went about 6 pm and there appeared to be only 2 people working, the manager and another worker. A few other customers came in to order while I was waiting, and the manager was obviously a bit understaffed but so professional, apologizing for the wait to everyone, and helping to get the orders out as quickly as possible. Thumbs up for a man who cares about service and customer communication.”

“I have been nothing but happy with my ordering from AK's. The delivery charge is minimal and the delivery is super quick. Even when I order around lunch time, with the order tracker, I can see it leave the restaurant promptly. Each delivery driver has been very friendly. I am in love with the soup of the day! Worth it, all around!”
“I had the best experience at Sakura! It was my first time eating sushi and I was blown away by not only the quality of food but the service as well! I will definitely be returning. Enthusiastic 5 stars.”
“One of many great restaurants on Moody St.
Specialized in Cuban style tapas dishes, great to order small dishes and share.
Yuca fries was good. Fried well, crispy exterior with soft buttery interior. Steak was also very good, well made with delicious refreshing chimichurri. Chicharrones was also very good, as it should be.
Service was great and no issues.
Personally think the food could be better in terms of flavor. Everything seems a bit...mono-toned.”
“This was our first visit. The restaurant has plenty of natural light, space and free parking in back. Our meals were delicious and the portions are very generous! I especially enjoyed the peach panzanela salad and chicken marsala. The service was on point. We will be back!”

“I had dinner here solo while I was traveling. The service was great and the dining room was comfortable with a quiet atmosphere suitable for dinner conversation. The food was just OK. I had the panko crusted halibut with risotto and asparagus. The risotto was great and the fish was cooked properly but the panko breading was almost burned on one side and underdone on the other. It didn't reflect a skilled kitchen staff, and wasn't up to par for the plate price at this restaurant. I didn't ask the server to correct anything because I was tired and didn't want to raise a fuss.
I would try The Federal again because I think this might be an anomaly and their other food was properly prepared and delicious. Their wine list is also reasonable.”
“Great beer and great place for social gatherings. So many beer options! They update their menu periodically and recently add non-alcoholic beer. They also have a coffee bar. I like that everyone in a group will be able to find something there. The Cloud Candy IPA is my go-to. The name sounds sweet but it is actually not too fruity. Their new IPA, Mountain Standard Time, is a great addition and my new fav! They have food trucks outside by the parking lot and the Mexican one is yummy. It’s there a few days a week. Great tacos and beef soup. I tried the burrito bowl and liked the tacos more. The brewery posts weekly food truck schedules so you get different food truck options depending the day of a week.”
“Great hole in the wall sandwich shop. I got the Parma sandwich as a recommendation from my partner, who insisted we try it after he had it catered to a meeting, and he was right—it was delicious! Prosciutto was tender, tomatoes were flavorful, and the mozzarella was the perfect texture. The staff was friendly and smiled at us as she prepared the sandwiches, which is always an added bonus.”
“My friends and I had a wonderful evening at Bistro781. David D was our waiter and he couldn’t have been more professional. He took care of us and didn’t rush us and gave great recommendations. The bus servers were on top of clearing our table and offering water. Even the manager came and checked in on our meal a couple of times. We would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.”
“La mejor! After trying several Mexican restaurants on Moody St, I can confidently say THIS IS THE BEST. The tacos are SO flavorful, juicy and delicious! ? and the horchata is perfecto. And though I'm a white girl, I grew up eating authentic Mexican food in Chicago, so I know what's good ????”

Takeout Restaurants
“Really nice flavor on the carnitas and cabeza, solid lengua, and terrible carne asada tacos. Would say these tacos are smaller than used to (probably could get at this size and price in Manhattan which is saying something) so would just keep that in mind when ordering”
“My 8 and 10 year old and I LOVED eating in the restaurant and our whole family loves it as take out and delivery. In particular, my kids loved the ramen saying it's the best they've tasted. We all loved the sushi (SO fresh) and I particularly loved giving the Sushi Chef (who I hear is a master who would love to practice his craft creatively off menu when given the chance :) my loves, preferences and any dietary constraints and he just surprised us w/delicious stuff of his own creation. It's become our favorite!”
“Delicious and inventive flavors, a fun atmosphere. They have some good non-dairy options that go beyond just sorbet. We have a hard time going for lunch or dinner on Moody Street without stopping at Lizzy's afterwards.
Dietary restrictions: The vegan Oreo flavor is a family favorite”
“Very decent Chinese restaurant. About as good as you’ll get in Boston. The pork fried rice is excellent, with generous meat and great consistency. Salt and pepper ribs are solid, string beans are as you would expect with nice heat. The Shanghai noodles were pretty good but I preferred the other items on the menu. Scallion pancakes were excellent; very crispy.”
“Ordered beef with broccoli, beef with green and pepper and onion, shrimp fried rice, and a glass of fruit punch. Shared it all between two people and took home all leftovers, and I can’t believe I’m writing this but NO complaints. I have a hard time with beef/chicken often tasting a little gamey or subtly foul at other restaurants. It’s something that with enough seasoning, I don’t think most pick up on because I’ve usually been alone in that observation. However, the meat was clearly clean, seasoned with ginger which helped enhance all the other flavors, and then the beef with broccoli sauce. It was just amazing.
Parking: You’ll usually find street parking, might take a loop at most but if you’re having trouble, park at the paid parking lot off Walnut Street and walk 2 blocks.”
“aries has great noodles and dumplings with many flavorful dishes and choices! nice authentic chinese food with many options.the beef noodle soup is wonderful; very flavorful beef broth with light springy noodles and mild chili pepper. it was definitely my favorite.the pork dumplings are great! they have a generous amount of pork inside and nice chewy crispy skin. you definitely need to order these.the prawn with napa cabbage is also delicious with a flavorful mild seafood broth.the duck was good, but nothing special.i also got a plum juice, which was nice.they have an ordering style in which you order with your phone and the order goes directly to the kitchen. it is very efficient and i prefer it to the tradition restaurant ordering system.the food came quickly and the staff were kind. the food was delicious and there are many other options that i am interested in trying. i will definitely visit again!”
“This charming coffee shop is the perfect spot to warm up with a cup of coffee and a quick bite on a cold morning. The ambiance is laid-back, with soft music in the background and immaculately clean tables that invite you to relax. The menu features a wide variety of coffee and tea options, we sampled the latte and mocha—both rich and flavorful, a great start to the day.
For food, we tried the French Croque Madame and the ZenZest Tuna Toast, both of which were delicious and carefully crafted. The pastry selection is equally impressive, with everything looking irresistibly fresh. The Portuguese Pastel de Nata, while good, would benefit from a quick toasting before being served to bring out its full potential.
While the prices are on the higher side (in the case of the sandwiches doesn’t appear in the menu) the overall experience, from the friendly staff to the quality of the offerings, makes it a worthwhile stop. The convenience of accepting credit cards adds to the appeal of this cozy, inviting café.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Convenient location, free parking both on street and on premises. As a known rule ,street parking everywhere requires checking the available notices/warning in regard to number of hours required to Park(duration) and where to park.
Parking: Parking available at the back but also street parking is available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair can access the entrance well”
“Never in a million years would I rave about a Burger King, but this one is really good. My Whopper was fresh and not soggy like it usually is, and the ambiance is terrific with lots of sunlight and great comfortable tables. This is the one to go to. I actually enjoyed eating there.”
“I have been frequenting this McDonald's drive thru for years. The service is consistently friendly and the food consistently properly prepared. There seems to be ample parking for eating in but I've only been inside once when the drive thru line was very long and it turned out to be faster picking up the order inside. I gave the atmosphere 4/5 because the inside wasn't particularly inviting and mostly filled with teenagers who just seemed to be hanging out.”
“This was my second time eating at this KFC. The first was so unpleasant, I didn't want 2 go back. But in all honesty, that first time was several years ago. So, I took another chance and went back hoping it was under new management. I don't know if it is but I was hungry and didn't feel like cooking. I noticed the front area was rearranged so maybe they are under new management. In any event, the staff were very personable and helpful. I always look 4 a smile and I wasn't disappointed. I got a 2 piece chicken w/mashed potatoes and gravy. I like dark meat so I had a chicken leg. I was disappointed; it was cooked 2 long making it taste horrible. People have 2 learn how 2 fry chicken. It doesn't take much especially if it's deep fried. The leg tasted like card board not that I have eaten card board. On the other hand, my second piece of chicken was part of the thigh and that was very tasty. The mashed potatoes w/the gravy was also tasty. So, in short, I will try them one more time but this time I will check the chicken before I leave. Popeye's chicken is the only place that I can say really knows how 2 cook chicken.”
“This is the best restaurant on Moody! My wife and I came on a whim when they opened a few years ago. We have been coming almost monthly ever since. The food is fantastic. The variety is incredible. Service and atmosphere wonderful and inviting. And the drink menu is extensive, both in delicious cocktails and a sake list we are still working through to this date. Any time we have friends in town, we bring them to Shiki Shabu Shabu as a treat to ourselves and them. Casual dinner at the bar is fun and groups at tables is an experience. This is what Moody has been missing!”
Cheap Eats
“Absolutely wonderful small bakery. I feel like one of the family every time I go there. I get to try new food specialties from Guatemala! Yum. Today Today it was an amazing tortita. I was planning on taking a photo of it to add to the post but I ate it too soon!!! Yum!!! Totally recommend it.”
“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.”
“In all honesty, the service here is wonderful employees always patient and answer any questions you have The atmosphere is great drinks are low price even at the large drink with Boba it’s only $10 and they don’t pressure you to tip, but with the service you’ll get you just want to tip the most amount you can. Five stars wonderful.”
“A very pleasant surprise. My wife had a side salad, and I had chicken noodle soup. The soup has to be home-made. I haven't had a soup like it in over 20 years. Many Chicago loop deli's used to serve Chickem Noodle like Prime Deli's.
We both had Spaghetti with marinara. It was
a mega portion with two large pieces of garlic bread.”
“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.”

“Went in for my birthday dinner. Service was great and the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back again.”
“Best japanese cruisine and restaurant in Boston area. All staffs were great! Awesomely fresh and top quality sushi! 4.5 is under-rated, should deserve much higher rating comparing to other japanese restaurants in the region.”
“Very well located and excellent establishment!!! Pastries, homemade food, burgers, everything is delicious, you can get a taste of Brazil and satisfy your nostalgia a little. Don't waste time or have any doubts, this is the right place to remember our origins.”
“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!”

“I took my mom to tita’s kitchen for dinner and we both enjoyed it so much. We could smell the aroma of the restaurant from down the street. It smelled so delicious! The food definitely lived up to the great smells. We got tacos and a carne asada plate. I will be back and I will recommend anyone to visit Tita’s Kitchen for some yummy authentic Guatemalan/Mexican food. 5 out of 5 stars!”

“My wife and I had dinner on NYE at the Waltham location. The food and atmosphere were excellent and both our meals were prepared just the way we requested.
I can’t say enough about our server Denise Shannon. She went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal, offering suggestions as we placed our order and frequently checking to ensure our experience was top notch. As great as the food was, it was Denise that made this a 5 star review!!!”

“Today was my first visit to Da Vinci. It was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The service was top notch, the atmosphere was quaint and cozy, and the food was exceptional. For the celiacs out there, the menu was clearly marked with many options and they even have homemade gluten free bread. I will definitely be returning.
Dietary restrictions: They have a wide variety of GF options clearly marked on the menu.”
“THIS. Is the Italian place you'd expect. Large facility that offers on-site parties/ events as well as dining room service, carry out and a full dine-in bar. Plenty of customers - just notice the three parking lots, maybe more than 3.
And primo Italian style dining with deliciously prepared items, all the way to the mini cannolies.
Do yourself a favor and dine during happy hour. Portions are still generous, with great pricing.”
