The most DELICIOUS tamale I've ever seen. Cozy ambience and both the chef and her daughter were helpful and sweet. They were super patient, and I came away with the most mouth watering tamale. It totally made my day. The kitchen looks clean and well kept, and the cooking is divine. If you're looking for a nice cozy place to stop by and have a bite, this is it.
Ordered a Picada, which I have ordered before. I was lifting the tray with a bit of force because last time it weighed about 6 pounds. This time it weighed significantly less. This time it was loaded with tortilla chips and fries. Last time it was more steak, chicken, fried pork and shrimp. I was quite embarrassed to serve it at my gathering. I took my mom to tita’s kitchen for dinner and we both enjoyed it so much. We could smell the aroma of the restaurant from down the street. It smelled so delicious! The food definitely lived up to the great smells. We got tacos and a carne asada plate. I will be back and I will recommend anyone to visit Tita’s Kitchen for some yummy authentic Guatemalan/Mexican food. 5 out of 5 stars!
