“These are extremely delicious empanadas, and you can taste the quality of the dough and fillings. The beef and spinach empanadas (two varieties) are really well seasoned, and they don't skimp on the fillings. The pastry was sturdy and crisp. I got mine at Momma's (freezer section), and freezer to plate is 20 min or less. I'm excited to try their other flavors!“
“Hip little spot in Somerville for seafood with a Peruvian twist. This spot is pretty small so make a reservation ahead of time. Seating can be pretty intimate if you have a big party or broad shoulders. The seafood was good, I recommend the mixed seafood risotto and the cocktails were delicious.“

“We hired Bocadillos to serve empanadas at a large nonprofit event: a student showcase involving 300 people: high school students, organization members, parents and friends. The food was fantastic - we ordered paper boats, so guests could stand around with their food easily. Bocadillos sent 2 servers, and everyone was fed seamlessly, despite needing to complete the entire food service is about 40 minutes. Bocadillos helped us knock the event out of the park, and I am sure we will work with them again.“
“Every thing I have tried from here has been off the charts. The zucchini and cheese pepusa is incredible and the steak and cheese empanadas are amazing. The pork belly is also fantastic. The sauces that come with each of them are a knock out of the park. Hands down some of the best food I've had in Boston the owner is the sweetest alive. “We've enjoyed their food all three times we've ordered delivery, though there have been a few issues with side items. The actual entree portion is always great, and they are good about requests. Unfortunately, the first time they forgot our drinks entirely, and the third time they delivered the wrong drinks. Also, the churros are awesome when made as described, but when they forget the filling they are pretty lackluster. Overall we'll keep ordering from them, but the mistakes are kind of annoying.“
“We went to Orinoco a little under an hour before closing. We were seated immediately and the waiter was very attentive. We had hoped to eat some arepas but they were out of them. I recommend getting here earlier if that's what you're craving. We ended up getting the empanada trio, the Pabellon Criollo (which I did not realize also had plantains), the maracuchitos and the tostones. Yes, all the plantains in the menu. It kind of happened by accident but it worked out great. We got our food incredibly fast! Everything was delicious. However, the tostones and the empanadas were my favorite. I also had a maracuya juice, which was sweet and refreshing. We really liked our waiter, we was very nice and attentive. I wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out. I really enjoy the food from Orinoco. Historically, I had only gone to the restaurant in the South End but I'm glad to see the one at Harvard Square maintains the same flavors. “It was my first time dining at Orinoco and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere is inviting and distinctive, felt inviting after a long day. I got an Empanada Verde and Orinoco Mojito to start, a mixed salad and Parrilla Caraqueña for my main, and Quesillo for dessert. I stray away from mojitos because of sweetness but I figured to give it a chance and I wasn’t disappointed. It had the right balance and one of my favorite mojitos I’ve ever had. The empanada had me wishing I ordered more. The main entree was excellent, hats off to the kitchen staff. The chicken, steak, chorizo, and yuca fries cooked to perfection. The flavor/seasonings were balanced, and didn’t beg of anything else (sauces, etc.). I usually don’t go for dessert but I’d say the quesillo would be a dessert to treat yourself to. Lastly, the service was incredible. Very warm, attentive, and informative, Philip and Daniel are what made the experience for me, and are the reason I will return. Highly recommend, you won’t regret giving Orinoco a try. I’m looking forward to trying out more of their menu.“

“We rented the back room club for a Quinceanera in March '24. Janice and the team helped us with the event and made everything fit our budget. They circulated plentiful and very tasty apps and small plates. We had an open bar for adults and open soft drinks for kids and the bill was reasonable. The decor was classy, newly refreshed gorgeous wall paper and so we didn't need to add much. Everyone had a great time. One late comer missed food service but they were easily accommodated on request. Highly recommended for events! But this is about the food and that was good even if turnovers looked kind of pale, had kind of a sauce situation that wasn't exactly nice since I like the filling to be not dried but not extra juicy neither. Liked that Dough was crunchy and tasty. Filling had a nice flavor also. It's why I rate it 4 in gral was good just for me an extra minute will have let it on perfect color in the outside and maybe less juicy in the inside. “Family locally owned, women owned amazing place in Boston. They cater and attended a baby shower at the restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The service was fantastic. The owner is attentive and was present throughout the event. If you want to celebrate an event there is no place better. The options were plentiful. There was lasagna, rice, beans, chicken pasta, roasted pork, jerk chicken and the most delicious drinks. Reasonably priced so you can host your shower, rehearsal dinner, retirement, and birthday.
