I recently had a delightful experience at Rincon Guatemalteco in Waltham, MA, and I wanted to share my positive impressions with you. Upon calling to inquire about their Rosca de Reyes, I was pleased to learn that they were indeed baking some. This place is insane, not only is everything freshly baked on a daily basis but I've never ran into bread and baked goods so cheap in my life. Pan dulce for only 75 cents. I think everything under the counter table is under a dollar and apparently they have hot dishes? Currently on a streak with the place to try one of everything they have. Got the sweet breads at 9am on Sunday morning, I'm not a Spanish speaker but don't worry ! They are extremely friendly unlike the other place in Waltham, this small corner shop bake them fresh everyday ! I didn't see mountains of baked buns piled , only small batches were made when I got to the store. I wasn't expecting much but the bread is soft and moist, what a nice surprise! And who doesn't appreciate freshness ?
