“After so many years, today is unexpectedly my first time here. The taste of this place is great, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch. The dry-fried green beans, pork elbow, and loofah are all good choices. However, the sweet and sour mandarin fish is too sweet for my taste. For parking, you can try Pine St or Cresent St, but don't count on finding a spot on Moody St.“
“I've been to plenty of Japanese restaurants, so my expectations are very high. This place exceeded them and more! Great lunch combination options and flavorful miso, but the real star here is an extensive list of unique signature sushi rolls -- including options I've never even seen at any other sushi place. They have pictures of these specialties, as well as extensive descriptions, and our server did a good job of providing further explanations and recommendations. We had an unbelievably delicious lunch, and seriously considered coming back for dinner! The location is a little bit difficult to get to, but that's a small price to pay for such a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!“
“The food at this place is delicious, and they offer items which a lot of other nearby restaurants do not. I have gotten take out and eaten there, and I have enjoyed both experiences. If I had to choose one thing that I disliked about this restaurant, it would be that I wish more of their delivery options could be made without sugar/palm sugar.“
“It was an enjoyable lunch overall. The wait initially between placing an order and the appetizers coming out was a bit long but once the appetizers came out, the rest of the meal came out quickly too, with generous portions. All three of us left VERY full and barely could finish the three noodle soups and two appetizers!“
“Feel like something's changed in the past year or so. The food doesn't seem as cared for and has lost some of it's charm. not sure if just a bad day or if the chef has changed but other way feeling a little sad. still tasty but not the WOW it was “
“Grandma’s Kitchen is truly a hidden treasure! Their braised beef noodle soup is a culinary masterpiece that's worth traveling far and wide for. The harmonious blend of spice, acidity, and umami in the broth creates a tantalizing flavor experience. Each bite of the al dente noodles paired with tender, flavorful beef is pure delight. The popcorn chicken is another standout item—crispy, impeccably seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The service is both swift and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the place. Getting a glimpse of Grandma herself in the kitchen adds an extra layer of authenticity and warmth.I can confidently say that I'll be making regular return visits to Grandma’s Kitchen—it's simply too good to resist!“
“My dining experience at Fuji at Newton was nothing short of spectacular! Right from the moment we walked in, the ambiance set a high expectation with its sleek, modern decor that felt both inviting and upscale. The lighting and music were perfectly set to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both romantic dinners and family gatherings. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations that were spot on. It's rare to find a place where the staff is genuinely enthusiastic about their offerings, and this enthusiasm was infectious! Now, onto the star of the show - the food. Fuji at Newton offers an extensive menu that explores the rich flavors of Japanese cuisine with innovative twists that are both creative and delicious. We started with the Gyoza, which were perfectly pan-fried to a delightful crisp on the outside while remaining succulent on the inside. But the real game-changer was the sushi - each piece was a work of art, fresh and flavorful, with the sushi rice seasoned to perfection. The Dragon Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll were particularly memorable, each bite bursting with freshness and complex flavors that danced on the palate.“
“This place is amazing! I’ve been here over 20 times and the food is consistently fantastic. Wait staff is so nice and professional. It’s hard to work at a place that typically gets one huge rush a day but they are so great and the food always shines.“
“This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The fatty blue fin tuna is like wagyu of tuna (see picture). This type of cut is very rare. The place is not very big, with about 30 seats, so if it’s busy you may need to wait to be seated. Luckily the service is very fast and on-point. The chef (itamae) is super friendly and can create a-la-carte rolls.Super Fusion Sushi is now my favorite sushi place in the Boston area. Two thumbs up!!“
“Loved it here! Such a cute unassuming place near downtown Dedham. So many menu options. We had the roti bread appetizer and shumai which were both delicious. The bread was crispy and chewy like a scallion pancake and came with a delicious chicken curry on the side. I ordered the beef ball noodle soup which kind of resembled pho. Delicious and huge portions for every dish. My friend wanted khao soi which she found under a different name on the menu. I believe it was called curry noodle soup. Service was prompt and not overbearing. Thai iced tea was delicious. I would certainly come back again.“
“Bayberry Cafe is packing up their Woburn bags and relocating to Cambridge. Their last day of service will be Mothers Day (May 14) 2023. Their new location will be called Ramen O Bowl and will be at: 1668 Massachusetts Ave Cambridge MA with an opening in the near future. Bayberry has been a wonderful community restaurant since they opened 6 years ago, bringing some of the most delicious vegan food to the North suburbs, but unfortunately it is their time to give another location a try.“
“This is my go to coffee/tea shop. The atmosphere is always comfortable, welcoming and chill. I love getting the brewed tea lattes, I recommend trying the Paris blend! The staff is extremely nice and super helpful. You can also order food, I really liked the 3 cheese gyudon, 10/10 will be getting it all the time. They have great portions for both drinks and food. The price is appropriate with the quality and portions.“
“POSITIVE: Good hot and sour soup. Good lunch options (food quantity and price). NEGATIVE: 1 person took our order, another person delivered the food to our table. No one came to check if everything was ok, or offer water refill. Kung Pao chicken was more sweet than spicy. Would not order again. Crab rangoon was overcooked and hard to eat. Went during a Saturday lunchtime. Very few customers until close to end of lunch special time. On-street parking, so limited by time of day and other business customers on the same street. It's a little "hole in the wall" place; easy to miss. In all fairness, I would try it once more to see if other dishes are better.“
“Found this place via Instagram. The staff are all nice and food was great. Small seating area but when I went in the evening was able to sit. Staff told me there are two other locations which I will have to check out in the future. Will be back !“
“Our favorite family restaurant. Everything is delicious and atmosphere is lovely. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Our family and friends love it and we’ve been going there for more than 10 years whether we eat at a regular table or in a tatami, we always enjoy the meal and the “
“They have the best sushi I've ever eaten in any way in Massachusetts I have tried other locations and I'm actually not a big fan of seafood so I like the cooked sushi but I do love their shrimp tempura and they're Nagi Sushi is so good too. Oh you definitely got to try to Alligator sushi too I didn't know it was topped with you but for the first time I ate it it was really delicious. Like I said I'm not a type of person to really eat seafood and I love this place“
“Little Big Diner serves up a symphony of flavors in their spicy tan tan ramen. By swapping chili ground pork for the decadent chashu pork, akin to pork belly, they’ve elevated the dish to a celestial level. The cloudy, flavorful broth dances on your taste buds, while the melt-in-your-mouth pork and perfectly balanced noodles complete the gastronomic masterpiece. For a taste of the best ramen Boston has to offer, Little Big Diner is a must-visit culinary oasis.“
“I think that this restaurant is phenomenal. I went with a friend who had frequented the restaurant in the past. She raved about the food and how at night it shifts into a great dancing, music, eating venue. I found, the service to be very engaging, warm and friendly. The food was savory and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend Orchid 7 Fusion Bar & Grill.“
“After Plaster Funtime with the kids, I was searching for somewhere easy to eat with my kiddos but wanted to expose them to something they hadn't had before and that I loved. Pho!!! ?28 Bistro has a low key vibe, great music in the background, and the owner who works the register and tables(at least that Sunday) was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious! I had to order an 18yo, a 14yo, and a 7 yo. 29 Bistro didn't disappoint.Apps: Seaweed Salad, Short Ribs, and CalamariEntree options: Beef Pho, 2 x Seafood Pho, and Duck Pho (these aren't the names of the dishes, but the main ingredients within). My kids were loving the flavor, enjoying every moment of the experience, and had a bunch left over for lunch the next day despite being super full.I enjoyed it all. The Dutch Pho was absolutely amazing and while I over did it a bit in the apps, flavorwise, it was all amazing.Oh, we capped it off with various flavors of boaba tea! You've gotta check out 29 Bistro. I'll sure be back!!“
“Finally tried dining in at Phu-Ket after only having it via takeout after all these years. It's small from the outside, but cute and intimate on inside: quiet, more tables than I expected and clean, so I was blown away. I came here for dinner with my dad, and we got the Pork Tenderloin with Sticky Rice appetizer, Spicy Duck Fried Rice, and Seafood Pad Thai. All delicious and a great portion for the price. The price for all the items was about $40-$50, which is very reasonable. And with the takeout rice I got, that was still under $70. The service was a bit slow to start, but there were a lot of tables and takeout orders the whole night. So it's definitely popular, and I can see why. Even had a lovely chat with hostess and chefs after. I'll definitely be back! Bring your appetite and be willing to try new things!“
“New Ginza is a true polished diamond, I have experienced few favorite-worthy restaurants like it.Menu items are delicious, from Chinese American and Japanese (gyoza, shumai) to the real gem dishes: the sushi. All of it. Everything is super clean and fresh, always, and beautifully done, with smoothly delivered service from every server.Go. Here.“
“I recently tried Coconut Thai Wellesley and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, the ambiance was amazing, and they had a huge variety of dishes to choose from. The flavors in every dish were outstanding, and the cozy atmosphere made the dining experience even better. The staff was friendly and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Coconut Thai Wellesley for a great meal out. Definitely 5 stars!“
“Good Thai and Korean dishes served at this restaurant ?. Their menu offers many choices, from Japanese to Thai and Korean dishes. We ordered Thai dishes, and we prefer spicier foods. They didn't disappoint they were very tasty, just enough heat like we prefer ? .Well worth the try ?“
“What can I say… we drive to this place from Cambridge and the service is just at the top! Those girl’s waiters are just fantastic. Efficient, kind and very very fast! The food is just amazing. They cook everything in a minutes. They truly respect your time and everything you ask for is right there with a smile and welcoming faces! Great family place! We love this place a lot!“
“Awesome local place. Consistently quick takeout. Or come sit at the bar for a drink and a Rangoon and a good time. One of the only lively places in Arlington ??♀️ They often have live music, and will let ya put whatever you want on the tv!“
“Sushi is great and very well priced. Eating in or take out is great. Fish is always awesome and the prices and deals can't be beat. The workers are always amazing to work with if something is incorrect and they make sure to make it right. I always order “
“The food here is very good, the food is made to order and the service is very good. I prefer a lighter hand with less salt and cornstarch but I understand that their typical clientele expects a more experienced style. I appreciate fresh vegetables and beautiful service. Good value lunch specials with the option to upsize for just a few dollars.“
“I was here for lunch with a friend and we had quite a bit of catching up to do. We never felt rushed at any point. We finally ordered and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The lunch boat was incredible and almost too much for me! Everyone here is super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!“
“The BEST lunch buffet place in the Boston area for South Asian food! Amazing Nepali/Indian dishes for the very reasonable price of $18. If you live in Boston , you know that's a great deal. They have garlic naan, dal tadka, palak paneer, navaratan korma, chicken tikka, and even Nepali dishes like momo, goat curry, rayo ko saag, kukhura ko masu, and chai/chiya. The quality of all the dishess, service team and the aesthetics of the place are all 10/10.“
“Really glad we found this place! Their food is very tasty! Their pricing is excellent compared to other places. Though they don’t have the crispy chicken pad thai, their regular pad thai hits the spot! It’s not too dry or greasy! We also love the triangle puffs! It’s our to go thai food now around the area!“
“I had a large combination pho for take-out. It was very good and had all ingredients I expected, with good meat. They are nice. The atmosphere is peaceful with pleasant music in the background. The price is a great deal; I paid much more at another place in Woburn. If I lived closer I'd go here every week as I guess they also have Thai food. You can't usually park right in front; close to lunchtime I just parked close by on E. Nichols (the street where the fire station is).“
“Big fan right from the start! Prompt delivery, food always arrives hot, and the flavors are great. I also love that I can order a regular size on rices and other dishes so I don't have excessive amounts of leftovers if I'm ordering for just 2 people. Finally my search to replace the Lotus Blossom is over. Love it here!“
“They have sweet rice drinks and yogurt/fruit flavored drinks. Although, they don't offer boba, they go for a more traditional and less sweet taste. The sour yogurt brings me back home to the taste of the yogurt I used to have back in Beijing. I wish Yomie's was more centralized in Allston with the other businesses, but glad they are in Boston nevertheless.“
“The pop corn chicken is amazing. We got a small but it was more than enough for 2 ppl to share. The gochujang sauce that comes with the bowls is more on the sweeter side than spicy so if you have a low spice tolerance I think you can handle it.Parking: Meters are $0.25 per 30 minutes.“
“I ordered some rolls for my son while waiting for his appointment to finish. The woman whom I spoke with when picking up the order was lovely. It's a well located restaurant in downtown Needham. My son loved his rolls! We will definitely go for dine in service in future.“
“I am a big fan of this location, especially for a quick and easy lunch! I enjoy the variety of options that Poke Garden has to offer, and it is really fun to make new bowls all the time! I especially love the shrimp tempura and salmon bowls, and they are always sure to give generous portions! The workers are very kind and quick to serve you at the counter. Little pricey but worth it for the poke bowls!“
“Gen sushi is our go-to neighborhood sushi joint. They provide high quality sushi with notably larger pieces of fish than competing restaurants in the area. We particularly enjoy the way they prepare nigiri! They have friendly and welcoming staff and we appreciate their early opening time of 4 PM.“
“I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“
“Stopping by for a quick mid day dine. First- Lychee Martini was wonderful. Second- steamed Thai chicken peanut dumplings. They were sure tasty, just a bit of a tough chew for some. The meat and toasted peanut was a little over cooked. I don't mind that so much. I like my meat really done. The ginger sauce is yummy. Third- takoyaki app. Perfect bites of tempura balls filled with octopus. The top of mayo and bonito flakes made me get a real smoke gun flavor. Loved it!“
“Great food , great staff. Easy and Fast. Just the way we Americans like it. The perfect quick stop no hassle Chinese take-out restauraunt. Grab some for your family on the way home from work. Only five minutes from the Montvale Avenue exit....just past Leonard field on Washington Street. Only drawback is parking, but you can park around the corner on Harvard Street....or one of the side streeets across the street up on the hill. There's a couple of spots up front. (Can be a bit tricky to back in and out of during rush hour). - Other than that. Its an awesome place. If you order for new years be prepared, they require pre ordering and they cut it off at a particular time when they get too many orders. You have to order a day or so in advance, for new years, and pick it up on new years.“
“Good food, decent prices and good service. Went here few weeks back to meet up with friends so we were a group of 7 people. Initially we sat at one of the long tables but soon after everyone arrived they gave us one of the round tables with the lazy susan rotating center. We ordered a bunch of dishes - kung pao chicken, MaPo tofu, a lamb dish that came in a pot, beef dish, squash dish, a green leafy vegetable dish, and a couple other dishes none in total plus steamed white rice and green tea. There was a lot of food and it was all very good and tasty. Meats were tender and flavorful. We were quite satisfied and full with all the food! We also got some leftovers to bring home lol! Parking was easy as they have parking. Also was easy to find this place not too hard. Will come here again if we're in the area.“
“The food was great but the service and atmosphere is seriously lacking. We went on Fridays nights at dinner time twice and they clearly are doing to much takeout business to care about their dinner in guests. I won't return for dine in unless it's to try the lunch specials.“
“We had my husbands 70th birthday surprise party and the guests could not stop raving how good the food was and the drinks and how much fun it was. Kevin and his wife worked so hard to make it a success. I work full time and left it in their hands and the did not disappoint. Great time cannot recommend enough for a quiet dinner or family affair or party“
“Got a takeout order and was really impressed! The mojo ramen broth was extremely flavorful and the chashu pork was tender and delicious. The noodles were also quite good even though I got a delivery and so they couldn't serve the noodles in the broth, I had to add it myself after reheating it. Worth the price and I'd recommend it to anyone nearby, even to be delivered!“
“It was my first time here. Such a great experience! The restaurant was prepared for our large party. The service was excellent. Our food came out in a timely manner, and more importantly, everything was hot and fresh. My beef bibimbop in the hot stone bowl was yummy, fresh, and tender. Highly recommend. We'll be back to try other dishes for sure.“
“What a charming couple that runs this place. The food, reception and service are great. They give you a heads up that gratuity is charged automatically for 4 and above. Food is freshly made and cater to vegetarian/vegan options. The portions are large enough to satisfy your hunger without making you feel queasy. Flavor are balanced. Definitely recommend them. Even ensured ingredients I was allergic to was not included.Vegetarian options: Highly recommend the cashew dish. Pad Thai is sweeter than expected.“
“What a fantastic little sushi spot. I've lived all over Cambridge, Brookline and the South End and no sushi spot can compare to this one. Joe, the owner, is super friendly. Sushi is REALLY good here, fresh and delicious. Most of the bad reviews here are for non-sushi items. If you stick to the sushi, this place is a gem. They are also amazing about allergies. Highly recommend!“
“Taste, quality, presentation and service are excellent. Love their large menu. I've had their traditional Chinese appetizers. Pickled and hot pot rice noodles are excellent taste and portion. Claypot rice noodles are packed with great flavor.“
“I love the Cure Burger there! Great fries too. The cure burger has sautéed onions and tater tots on it and topped with bacon and a fried egg. The Caesar salad is very good. The grilled cheese and tomato soup are a delicious combination, My favorite.“
“Tried take out this week from this spot: Sauteed Chicken W Long Horn Pepper In Scallion Pancake Roll - highly recommend Mini Juicy Buns W Pork(6) - very tasty Mala Spicy Beef - good - a lot of beef, prepare. Overall, very tasty items all around. I liked the mini pork buns and the scallion pancake rolls the most, but all probably worth a try based on experience with what I had.“
