The Drunken noodles are my go-to and it is a generous portion of noodles AND protein...for the most part. I strongly discourage paying extra for extra protein as I paid $3 for EXTRA protein and received 3 small shrimp. This seems to be a trend as I have ordered DN at two other places and the extra fee was not reflected in the portion delivered. But Mae does deliver consistently outside of this.“

“Restaurant is has cozy and chill vibe. Staff is very friendly. The Biang Biang noodles are the star of the show! Super flavorful and great dough texture, taste very homemade. Meat pie is good too, almost as good as in China. The garlic crawfish bursts with flavor, they make it fresh from live crawfish so take a little more time. The pork belly with preserved veggie is way too sweet but meat is super tender so I took it home and ran it through hot water bath twice to get it to be less sweet😅“

We even brought our chef Tracy here one evening. She’s worked in several Michelin-starred kitchens and spent years cooking in private estates and luxury hotels. And she was completely blown away. We sat outside on the Patio and were Greeted by our Waitress who was Welcoming and Helpful with Menu choices. She took our Drink and Appetizer orders for the 😋Tempura Starter, 😋Chicken on Skewer, 😋Don Shumai (deep fried), 😋Scallion Pancake, Sushi Starter, 😋Miso Soup,😋 Unagi (Eel) Sushi and an Entree of Bui-Go-Ki 😋.
