“I had been following this restaurant for a long time since I came to Boston area, so I was so excited to be there. As “Uncle Roger” says, “not bad, not bad!”

Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.“

“Beautiful dining room. I ordered take out this evening using the Toast App. I mistakenly added a $500 tip instead of a $5 tip because the order went through too fast. I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy. The food was excellent and the waitress was so kind in packing one dish separately due to a peanut allergy. We will definitely be frequent flyers here.“

It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

“I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. I will absolutely be back often.

Didn’t think Downtown Boston needed another affordable Asian takeout place, but this one actually serves some of the best quick bites in the area. Despite being right next to the Commons, the sushi rolls are priced like grocery store sushi, but taste better & fresher. Most recently, I tried the chicken katsu curry, and it was really solid for the price. The curry leaned a bit watery, but they used chicken thigh for the katsu, which kept it tender and juicy without excess fat.

Given the number of students nearby, it gets busy during the semester. You can ask for your rolls to be made fresh, but even the pre-packed ones from the fridge were nearly as good. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for something cheap, quick, and actually decent around Downtown.“

We had the mango sticky rice as dessert, amazing, I’d pay 10$ for that mango alone. Had brianna scrape the plate (very rare!!), see picture below.

“Found taste house after work one night with my friends, not expecting anything to exceed our expectations but we found our new favorite spot! The scallion pancakes, beef and cabbage dumplings, vegetable dumplings and crab rangoons were some of the best and most fresh I’ve ever had. The drinks were exceptional (we had the lychee martini and a French martini). To top it off, the service was excellent, staff was super sweet and attentive. Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

“We’ve been coming here for close to 4 years. I used to live down the street but now make the 35 minute commute from Ashland just to get the food here.

The chicken pad Thai, seafood drunken noodles, red curry, and so many things are UNMATCHED. The service is always quick and extremely friendly.

The thai food here was SO good and SO affordable! Portions were really generous.

Overall it was very fast and attentive upon seating. However, the wait to be seated took quite a long time despite being 3rd in line, and when it said that our table was ready online, we still had to wait another 15 minutes. Totally understandable though since it was a Saturday night, just reflecting on personal experience.

. Loud, upbeat, and vibey. Interior is very aesthetic and in a tighter space, but super fun and a great place to grab dinner and chat with friends.

“Thai Thani is hands down the best local Thai restaurant in the Norwood area. I've tried other Thai restaurants close by, and Thai Thani is the definitely the best! Their portion sizes are extremely generous and the food is always hot and fresh. The lunch specials are great and anytime I've gotten dinner from there, I always have plenty of leftovers for the next day. The owners are great and are fantastic chefs! My go to is the Tofu Massaman Curry, but their Pad Thai is amazing too! I would highly recommend Thai Thani to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. You will not be disappointed!“

They closed down a good decade ago, and I've never had anything like it since. As of Saturday, I found the same fried rice and general tsos of my early days here. “I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. “Ok been here a few times now and it never disappoints! Open late, noodles are delish, and the spicy beef bao was SO DELISH! (They don’t always have it though, their menu changes occasionally which is awesome). Perfectly sweet and fluffy bao, beef was flavorful and yummy, plus pickled veg in there! Says they close at 1 but we walked in well past 2am after the bars closed.
Omg the pork katsu tornado curry omurice is to die for!!! So crispy crunchy even after sitting in curry sauce for the entire meal! The egg, fire. Sauce, yes.
And ok but seriously best best thing on the menu is the hotpot beef noodles!! The broth is phenomenallllllll, scent of lemongrass bamboo and ginger in such a spicy fresh aromatic broth, it gave me life!
