“It was our first time visiting Grandma’s Kitchen. We arrived 5 minutes early Friday evening and there was a short line already. There are only a handful of tables so it’s worth coming early to get seating right away.

We tried the popcorn chicken, bean curd, chicken cutlet, braised beef noodle, spicy wonton, and salted pork chop. The fried chicken dishes were definitely the standouts. The chicken cutlet was especially well seasoned and flavored. The beef noodle broth was also quite good. The spicy wontons were solid but didn’t wow me. The salted pork chop I thought was a little tough. I would order the fried chicken dishes and beef noodle again in a heartbeat but probably not the wontons or salted pork chop.

The service was on point and the server was very friendly. There atmosphere was very nice. It was relatively quiet and very open which was a nice change from many places that are super loud and pack people in like sardines.

Definitely worth a try and I look forward to coming back.“

“Very busy during meal times especially on Friday night! I would personally avoid ordering more than three or four items for pick up when it's really busy as I have had items left out. I am sure they are more careful with online orders. The biang biang noodles are so yummy, but watch out if you have blood sugar control issues. Carb BOMB. The food seems to be all very oily also but that's the nature of some of their most delicious offerings like chili oil splashed noodles. My kids always ask for House of Noodles whenever they come to town. They were born and raised in Hong Kong so have had their fair share of good noodles and this ranks right up there and makes them miss Hong Kong just a little less.“

“Love the food but their delivery is getting worse and worse. If you order before 5 p.m. it is nice if it can be delivered by 6:30 pm (especially if that is the window they promised). Did all we can to keep this place open during the pandemic but may need to start looking elsewhere for our family's sushi fix. VERY disappointed about their service.“

“This review is long overdue, but this is a great Thai small business to support. The place is cozy [with seasonal outdoor seating] and the staff is always warm. The Drunken noodles are my go-to and it is a generous portion of noodles AND protein...for the most part. I strongly discourage paying extra for extra protein as I paid $3 for EXTRA protein and received 3 small shrimp. This seems to be a trend as I have ordered DN at two other places and the extra fee was not reflected in the portion delivered. But Mae does deliver consistently outside of this.“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

I'm not saying there feelings don't matter but I am struggling in this state, and can't cook at the moment so to get some "nutrients I ordered a pizza from here that would have garlic, parsley etc and I instantly felt better! “I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. Great bar and wines too!“

. Shengjian bao was juicy and fresh. So often you get dried out filling but not here. Beef chow fun was also a standout - the noodles were great and the beef pieces were big.

Orange chicken was good - actual charred orange peel in it.

Rangoons were triangle shape with a little crimp, which for me has a little too much filling, and seems like they use cilantro in their filling (not a cilantro person). Cooked well, just less my style.

Next time I want to go in person to try the xiao long bao, salt and pepper pork chop and all the other stuff that doesn’t travel as well. The menu looks great.“

The general tsaos chicken though????? Among the best I’ve ever had.. not just soggy breaded chicken. Crispy, juicy pieces of chicken in a yummy sauce served with plenty of broccoli. I wish I’d gotten pictures.
