“We used Prince Street Cafe for an office retirement party and everything was so wonderful. Dana helped us create the menu, had lots of great suggestions and her knowledge was so helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and the team seamlessly worked the event keeping the food moving and making sure it all looked appetizing and keeping it all fresh. I got lots of comments about the food and staff during the event, all positive. Highly recommend!“
“Our food was great: my chicken sandwich, my son's tuna sandwich, my other son's pizza and my wife's soup. Everything was self-service. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We were met with a QR code rather than a menu which was a little daunting. Especially before my son hooked me up to WiFi. We work on base so very convenient. I will be back. Next time I will order before I arrive.“
“The staff at Brassica are so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. It's truly a neighborhood gem that I want to gatekeep so badly but will not because everyone deserves this level of stellar dining and the team here deserves to succeed! The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“
“If you want to taste authentic Rwandan coffee, go no further than Yego Coffee. The owner brings the beans from his family farms in Rwanda and roasts the beans en premise and brews them for you in multiple roast intensities.I tried their light roast brewed pour over and it was one of the best cups I’ve had in quite some time.Yego Coffee is an ideal place for drinking exceptional coffee and chat with a friend, or a date, or a work from coffeeshop, or simply enjoying your cup of coffee and indulging in the experience! The barista is super kind and super attentive to details.Parking: I went there on a weekend and parked across the coffeeshop, and there were plenty of spots available. I’ve not been there on a week day.“
“Best coffee shop in spring Hill, and gives everything in Davis a run for their money easy. Always a line out the door on weekends and deservedly, but they move fast. Great pepper biscuits, great yogurt. BLT is weirdly bad but the turkey sandwich is great.“
“Great selection of baking books and supplies such as various types of flours, sugars, baking cocoa. The store is small/medium but it's filled up, which makes it cute. There is a very small bakery/coffee section as well, with usuals such as scones, muffins, croissants.“
“Great bakery with a selection of Asian influenced mini cakes! Loved the strawberry shortcake, the cake was moist, cream was very smooth, strawberries were fresh, the combo’s not overly sweet, would def order again! On the other hand, didn’t enjoy the matcha red bean one as much, the cake texture was more coarse, and there’s a savory taste that was a bit odd.Overall, the mini cake’s size is on the small side, with approx. $8 per piece, it’s slightly overpriced. However, the price for drinks were quite reasonable for Boston area, enjoyed my ice americano!“
“This is a must stop whenever I visit Boston. Forget the north end canolli wars, Third Cliff pastries are the best. I first went in for the coffee, now I find the pastries bring me back.Vegetarian options: They also have Vegan and GF alternatives.Parking: There is short term parking but typical Boston challenges, it's worth it.“
“as soon as you open the door you are greeted with warm & loving energy. this place is magnificent if your looking to study, work, meet new people or simply enjoy a sense of community. Shaan who occasionally works here makes the BEST hot chocolate in this universe!!! So check it out, you will not leave disappointed :)“
“Ahmed, the owner, is a great and generous man. He has created a perfect place if you want to go somewhere with a great atmosphere, where the staff is friendly and accommodating to all needs. I have been there a few times now and every time have felt welcome, and have been served excellent food. Their breakfast sandwiches are perfect if you need a quick bite to eat before work, or if you go for lunch their menu is excellent offering a wide variety of selections. I honestly would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for something great to eat in the Brighton area of Boston.“
“If you're on the hunt for a hidden breakfast gem, this place is a must-try! Not only is the food delicious and visually appealing, but their extensive selection of flavorful teas and robust coffees is sure to impress any caffeine aficionado. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, making it a perfect spot to get some work done or simply enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. When it comes to the menu, you can't go wrong with the grilled cheese – it's a savory delight. And for those with a sweet tooth, the waffles with ice cream are an absolute must – truly to die for! Additionally, the pricing is perfect, making it an excellent value for such high-quality offerings.I highly recommend you check this place out; it's a real treat. My favorite new coffee spot.Parking: It's in the mall so there's plenty of parking“
“I have been to Japonaise for nearly 3 decades and all other locations they used to own. This little gem is operated by Takeo and his mom. Pure labor of love. Takeo works as primary baker. Everything here are delicious from breads, pastries, cakes, and some savory - Japanese delicacies. Takeo works very very long hours everyday making all of these. Wonderful folks. Asuki cream is my all time favorite.“
“I miss living close to Vinal! It's a cozy little women-owned spot with plenty of smiles and great vibes. The homemade English muffins are delicious, especially when ordered as a breakfast sandwich. I'm a big fan of the maple lattes as well, not overly sweet but still decadent.Dietary restrictions: Pumpkin seed pesto is a lovely menu inclusion for a nut allergic individual!“
“They had a Nowruz celebration thing that we attended. They served this wonderful 4 course meal. It was like the distillation of Persian food. Thy really get the authentic flavors but in new preparations. Like this take on "Ash Reshteh" that was a cold soup with bright herbal flavors and squid rings. Or their "Ab Goosht" was a cross between a smoky burger and a lamb "Mahiche".Such great experience.“
“this place is so wonderful, a cozy interior that you can meet the owner, Peter. he is so knowledgeable and kind, their coffee is outstanding and delicious. for food their tuna wrap is my go-to but i am going to have to try all their snacks!“
“Fast service, good pastry options, reasonable prices. They get their pastries from Cafe Beatrice, which are quite delicious with interesting flavors (black pepper and Gruyère scone pictured). Reliable WiFi and cute ceramic dishware. This is like a 4.5/5 in my book. My only complaints are that the seating can get a little dicey and they run out of pastries by early afternoon.“
“One of my favorite places in Boston & Cambridge: good coffee, excellent food, and pleasant ambiance. In warmer times, the back yard is very pleasant. It's very popular though, so snatching a seat can be difficult. Oh, and lately it doesn't offer takeout“
“I love this place. It's the place to go to chill with friends and have a good time. It's not too big place. You may feel like your friend's home to hang. I love it so much. The staffs are so kind which might make you feel like home. The beers are so good and sure you would be tipsy easily by tendering and caring of the staffs. I would be back here for food which I did not try this time“
“Vester has something for everyone. Great coffee, tea, pastry & breakfast sandwiches for mornings; Salads, sandwiches, wine for later in the day or take out if you can’t stay. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere - a must try. Named as one of Boston Magazine’s best new restaurants.“
“This was my first ever Tatte location I went to. It was warm out so I sat outside for a nice view. Got the prosciutto toast with pesto and goat cheese and now it’s my go to Tatte dish. Their honey halva house latte is a must try too - also my go to Tatte drink.“
“I stopped in here with a friend after a long walk and I'm so glad we went here. We got there not too much before closing, but they were just as friendly and accommodating as if we got there first thing. They have a ton of options, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans. I got the breakfast burrito (as I am seemingly always craving one) and my friend got the caprese. I was tempted by the treats they had in the display case, but we opted just to get our sandwich/burrito. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly made. I really appreciated that the egg in my burrito was bodega-style which made it so much less messy to eat. My friend practically devoured her sandwich; she thought the maple balsamic was so tasty and the veggies and pesto were really fresh. She has food allergies and was really happy with how much they laid out what was and wasn't in the food. They had convenient parking and plenty of outdoor tables. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.“
“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“
“Great really creative coffees and teas. Highly recommend the pastries too. Filipina owned! The only downside is the space is a little small, so a great spot to grab a coffee and quick bite (they have breakfast sandwiches too!) and then walk around.“
“Wonderful restaurant! I am about to graduate college and I have been eating here with my family and friends since I was a baby. The people who work here are the kindest people you will ever meet and the food is delicious! There are tons of options for eaters of all kinds. My favorite items are the Dan Dan noodles, dumplings, and smoothies. It’s my favorite place to eat in the Boston are and you definitely don’t want to miss it! It’s located in the middle of a beautiful part of Cambridge and very easily accessible. It’s a very walkable area and this place is the perfect pit stop mid walk. I will continue eating here for as long as I can :)Vegetarian options: I ate here before I was a vegetarian and have eaten here many times since and there are many options.Dietary restrictions: Many food and drink options.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. My parents used to bring me to eat here as a baby.Wheelchair accessibility: There are buttons to open the door and the restaurant is on one level.“
“Small local cafe that serves affordable coffee and amazing Italian sandwiches. For over two decades, Cafe Rustica has been a beloved cafe among the locals in this Somerville neighborhood. With classical music gently playing in the background, this quaint cafe offers a soothing ambiance that is perfect for a brief but relaxing stop.I’ve been coming to Cafe Rustica for a quick bite over the past two weeks. After trying their roast beef sandwich on my first visit, I instantly fell I love. The sandwiches here come with a perfectly toasted and pressed paninis, and each bite offered an irresistible crunch. Roast beef itself was just okay, so on my subsequent visit, I got the Italian tuna sandwich. Packed with classic Italian ingredients – like roasted peppers, a drizzle of olive oil, and fresh tomato – it was one of the best simple Italian sandwiches I had in a while. The cafe has a 45-minute limit on table usage, although I'm not entirely sure how strictly this rule is enforced. Despite the crowd during my visits, people didn’t seem to have any issue finding seating. If you’re looking for a simple Italian panini sandwiches, Cafe Rustica might just be one of the best options in the Greater Boston area. Will definitely be back to try more of their sandwiches.Parking: Free 2hr street parking on Somerville Ave (easier to find) & Beacon St“
“This place is authentic and warm, the food is simple but delicious, nothing pretentious/fancy, just good food, and we love it for that. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed, great for having a conversation, the service is excellent, and the prices are great. Best breakfast/lunch/brunch in the area!“
“There's no other place I rather grab breakfast from. When I first met Mike, he greeted me like family. The BEC sandwich I ordered was one of the best I've ever had and ever since, this place has been my go to. You won't be disappointed.“
“My sweet guy took me to eat this evening. Couldn't decide where we wanted to go. We ended up at Brianna's Cafe in Montezuma! I had never eaten there before but I will definitely go back! The food was Amazing and the 1/4 Butterscotch pie was to die for! Eddie had the apple pie. I'm not kidding - it was a fourth of a pie! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed eating out like this!“
“They made a slight mistake with our order initially but made up by giving us 2 free items and discounting 20% off. They go above and beyond for their service and their food truly was amazing. Best Italian food I’ve had in a while. Bolognese was so good. A hidden gem in “
“I would walk by Andala every single week and was always so curious as to what was inside and I finally did it! It says Coffee House but it also has tons of food options! The upper floor of the restaurant is definitely more cafe-like with people studying, seats by the windows, and the front where you can order coffee and desserts. Downstairs, on the other hand, offers more seating and cozy seats. Because it is a more casual place, the service is a bit inconsistent. We had multiple people come and take our order and didn't really have one server. For food, we ordered the Falafel Plate and Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. The falafel was extremely crispy and crunchy on the outside. The inside was a beautiful green color and full of flavor. The hummus and sauce it came with was also a delight. The star of the show was the shawarma sandwich. Every single bite had me verbally saying "Oh my gosh this is so good." The flavor profiles on the chicken were ridiculously delicious and the tumeric came out wonderfully without being overpowering. It was also so juicy that I could legitimately drink some out of the sandwich (even though yes, that's gross). The pita on the outside was the perfect level of chewy and the pickles in the sandwich cut each bite with acidity. I will definitely be back to try other dishes, or just for the Chicken Shawarma sandwich!“
“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“
“I love this cafe! I got the ngo van sandwich which was absolutely delicious. I spent some time studying in here and really enjoyed the environment. The baristas are also super friendly and I appreciate that the cafe is a worker owner cooperative. I’d recommend Circus to anyoneVegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and found an adequate number of vegetarian sandwiches and the coffee and pastries are of course vegetarian. The tofu on the sandwich I had was delicious, the perfect texture and super flavorful“
“Stopped by for the first time this morning and purchased a number of gluten free items to try. Now sitting here sorry I had waited sooooo long to try this unstated hidden gem. Wonderful gluten pastry, loaves and granola treats. Will be back!“
“We knew we wanted Magic Bites to cater our family event and we were so pleased that we did! Atilla and Elif were helpful and patient planning the menu and everything was top notch delicious. They knew we had some allergies in the family and they made an extra effort to create large labels with all ingredients. I highly recommend them!!“
“We used Ovenbird Cafe for a catered private event in Belmont. The catering manager was super friendly and easy to work with. The servers they sent to our site were professional, friendly, and knew how to work such an event. The food was all high quality and delicious, and our guests raved about it too. Thank you, Ovenbird Cafe catering, for helping make our event a success.“
“A board game lover's heaven. I could spend hours and hours learning and playing new board games, and the price to enter is super reasonable ($15 on weekends)! They have a huge selection, including some games that are not sold in the US. Staff is knowledgeable and nice. I also love that you can bring your own snacks and alcohol.“
“Great restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food they're serving. The servers are friendly and accommodating. They were very understanding about my parent who has dementia.... Served her soup as soon as it was ready as requested, brought more hot chocolate as needed and they waved every time my mother waved at them. As my teenaged daughter says: "they know how to serve old people."The food was very good. I had their berry strudel French toast (lots of fresh strawberries and strawberry ricotta cheese on challah French toast) was absolutely delicious - I liked it without syrup. The rest of my party had corned beef hash and eggs, cheeseburger, panini, and lemon chicken rice soup. All was so good, we didn't have any leftovers!Metered street parking only.Handicap access: zero steps (ramped entryway); everything, including large bathrooms, on one level.Wheelchair accessibility: Zero steps (ramped entryway); everything, including large bathrooms, on one level.“
“The prepared items from Judith's Kitchen are some of the healthiest and most delicious foods you will find anywhere and at such reasonable prices!! We are from out of state, but will return each time we are back to see my surgeon. The salmon burger, the black bean burger, the coleslaw, the potato salad, the lentil soup, the roasted vegetables, and literally everything else are just fabulous!!! The owners are precious people and treat us with such warmth. I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. I just wish they would relocate to upstate New York!“
“If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, safe, and FUN to go highly recommend. Awesome food and drinks ($5 sandwiches during happy hour!), lovely outdoor patio dining, and there are still games available to play sanitized between people! So happy to come back here again and get the same great service.“
“wonderful staff. they engage in your interests and ask about how you feel with the tea you get. tried their pu-erh and it is definitely high quality. also bought a vegan wrap from them. great blend of spices and sauce. slightly too much spice that overpowered the tahini (bought the bing bang wrap) but still delicious. If i ever go to another show at the sinclair again I will definitely eat there beforehand“
“Superiorly delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced is how I would describe the food at My Other Kitchen most concisely. Their Greek salad with chicken souvlaki is addictively good - it goes great with George's pita bread. Their hamburger tastes better than any burger I have had elsewhere, even at much higher prices! I highly recommend this place for takeout, but they also have limited seating inside and bigger tables outside in the warmer months.“
“great sandwich pairings and a decent bagel assortment-- wish they didn't only have certain options on the weekend though. the ambiance here though is unbeatable, extremely cozy and a great place to eat and catch up with friends! also a great to-go.“
“The drip coffee they serve is really good. (blind tiger coffee beans). The blood orange ricotta cookie is also 10/10. I’ve tried their cold brew and americano as well, which tasted good. I believe they used to use Broadsheet beans for some drinks, but I guess it depends/rotates(?)“
“Wish I knew this place existed sooner! Everything we had was very good, including the lattes. I had a chocoweggli and the spinach and cheese croissant (next time I would get it warmed) but both were delicious. My husband had a pretzel stick and a raspberry berliner and enjoyed both, the raspberry jam filling was really fresh tasting. Not much room to sit inside - there are only 3 small two-person tables.“
“10/10 across the board.Freshly baked bread - toasted to perfection.Incredibly seasoned home fries - cooked w/ perfect crisp. Bacon. Perfect crisp. Awesome friendly environment, owner is the chef and was running the place by himself. Excellent service.“
“Food was absolutely excellent, flavor was very well blended. Service cannot be complained about as I just ordered my food and picked it up. Not much else to add as it was a quick trip in and out, however the food was definitely worth mentioning. Also has decent Gluten Free (GF) options!“
“Cozy place to hang, read/write, meet a pal and enjoy a bite or drink, perhaps before a trail or pond walk. Noteworthy is the cafe is a hundred steps or so to writer Eileen Myles' childhood home at 33 Swan Place (as described in her book Inferno, cover shown in pic, where her 1960's youthful desire and ennui quietly raged and intellect ached to find a more suitable environ). Good cafes in small towns can to be havens.. had adolescent Elieen had this then she might never had felt so isolated and frustrated.“
“I think the atmosphere is what everyone dreams of for a cafe and I’m sure the events are a lot of fun. I would definitely come back to hangout or do some reading. But on my first visit my friends and I mainly wanted to pop in to quickly grab a drink and some pastries. Overall the food and drinks were a bit disappointing. The drink portions were small but also did not pack much flavor. My iced matcha was passable but the hot matcha a friend got was so diluted it tasted almost like nothing. The pound cake we got was also incredibly dense and dry.“
“Been loving my delicious FORGE order for days! Egg sandwiches, 1/2 dozen bagels, tub of chix salad, crusty loaf of bread, flaky croissants & crumbly scones, cookies... YUM YUM YUM! Thanks to you all for all this delicious food - that I didn’t have to make!“
“This is a hidden gem! We came in here after a bike ride for coffee and an egg sandwich. The egg sandwich was on a homemade biscuit and one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The baked goods were unbelievable. The owner, Ramona, is so sweet. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend you check this place out!“
