Instead I waited till the promised time on the order and got it. I am sure it had been ready for a few minutes. I had not received an update that it was ready even though I had registered my phone number to do so.“

Ube Latte: It tastes like the ube milk tea or ube ice cream cones I used to eat as a child, but it's not as sweet, and you can taste the good quality milk.“

I was pleasantly surprised by how extensive the menu was, which made choosing a drink a challenge in the best way. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). “Glazed Bytes Coffee is selling itself short by being tucked inside a tiny, painfully forgettable mall in Brookline. The coffee itself? Not forgettable at all.

We ordered two Cloud Foam Lattes (I think that was the name), and that foam was ridiculous in the best way possible. It sits somewhere between an absurdly fluffy marshmallow and canned whipped cream, except smoother, creamier, and somehow lighter at the same time. I genuinely have no idea how they made foam feel “luxurious”, but there we are.

The coffee underneath actually held its own too. Strong flavour, unique profile, not just another Instagram café trying to survive off aesthetics and oat milk. Properly good coffee.

Honestly, the mall needs them more than they need the mall. Places like this drive foot traffic way harder than another random clothing shop nobody remembers walking into. More food spots. More cafés. More reasons for people to actually stay there.

“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

G.O.A.T.: My first time trying it, I opted for the Classic English Muffin. The crust is pan-fried, not baked, giving it a slightly crispy texture without being hard, reminiscent of cornbread in a Northeastern Chinese tieguodun鐵鍋燉 (iron pot stew). The inside is soft, chewy, and perfectly moist, with a slightly sticky texture when combined with the sauce. A muffin unlike any I've ever had! The goat cheese butter flavor is rich, the pesto provides a mild nutty aroma, and the unique fragrance of arugula instantly evokes the slightly excessive sunshine of the Mediterranean.

Latte: Just okay, but you absolutely need a drink with it.“
