“Normally I’m a traditional Pad Thai or Pad See Ew but I branched out to try the Panang Curry. It was SO GOOD! Definitely reccomend. My table got Pad Thai, Basil Rice and the See Ew and they thought it was great as well! Server was super accommodating and attentive.“

“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. My new favorite spot for lunch or dinner in Boston.“

“Shu DaXia’s hotpot was a surprising hit and my friends actually prefer it to Liuyishou or Qiao Lin now. The main reason is that they offer a vegetarian version of the spicy Sichuan pepper broth, which the other places didn’t have, I really enjoyed the Shiitake chicken broth as well. The crispy fried pork appetizer was delicious, and I loved that the restaurant felt clean and had a coat check. It wasn't too crowded when we went, which made the whole experience even better.
The meats were cheaper priced to the other hotpot restaurants in Boston which was nice.“

“The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. We were incredibly impressed by the dining room layout and staff. If you are looking for a place to propose to your significant other… this is NOT the appropriate place. As I mentioned the food was the finest I’ve ever had; however, the music was terrible. We felt like we were in a 1990’s discotheque. The music was loud, very heavy beat and not remotely romantic. We did mention to our waitstaff and they attempted to get it turned down to no avail. No coffee or dessert available either. I understand space is limited; however you have two of the finest dessert businesses well within walking distance. Even if you only carry two desserts. I would still go back there for the food with the hopes of different music…even soft jazz would be acceptable.“

“Tiny place. But they know what they’re doing. Went in one of these freezing days. Thankfully there wasn’t too many people waiting, a lot of DoorDash orders I noticed. Was able to wait/ eat inside at the little counter even with the bulk of my jacket. Probably the most delicious breakfast sandwich I ever had/ will ever have. The bacon was perfect and the sourdough was insane. I was worried about it being too greasy and heavy but it was actually fine. The two guys working were great and friendly. Heard the cashier giving recs to everybody.“

“The first time as a European tourist in Boston, of course, was also on my wish list to try a "lobster roll" for the first time in my life.\n\nOn a walk to the harbour, I came across JAMES HOOK & Co, where I was simply approached by the charming house, the decoration, the planting and the information that it was founded in 1925. \n\nMy credo is always "If a business has been on the market for such a long time...they know what they are doing, do it with passion and just have to be good + if someone values the external design, they also give value to their food and will prepare it well and create an appropriate ambience for them to shine and taste".\n\nUnfortunately, I had to realize that I was there three minutes before closing time, the employees were in the middle of cleaning up and cleaning. So I took a heart and asked one of the employees if I could still order a Lobster Roll quickly as it would be my last day in Boston and I would like to try a Lobster Roll once in my life. So he asked a colleague, who in turn went into the house and asked someone there. \n\nHe invited me to come in and I quickly ordered the original ...which I received within a minute and ate outside.\n\nSometimes simple compilations can be so good...even if you as a European can't imagine that at first and initially feel pity for the lobster that landed its triggered meat in simple mayo on a warm light simple bun...but honestly: \n\nIt was really delicious...and the composition was coherent. \nThe lobster meat was of very good quality...you could just taste it. It was nicely mixed with the delicious majo and pulled through, plus the warm bun....simple but damn delicious and authentic. \n\nI can wholeheartedly recommend it...and obviously many others. Because as I only read later, when I looked around on their website, JAMES HOOK & Co even received several awards.\n\nBesides, it is an owner-managed family business in the third generation..and such businesses that are an original and bring a lot of work and passion to their actions, I think it is important to support!“
“It's such a vibrant place where shopping, dining, and just strolling around feels like a treat.“

“We got there at 5 when it opened and that's the way to do it! Noise level was fine but by 6 it was LOUD and the place was only 75% full. My wife and I ordered a total of five dishes plus two desserts, and everything was really good. I especially recommend: - The burrata - The egg and potato omelet - The Brussels sprouts (but be sure to ask for extra sauce) The sliders were good, but they could have used more flavor. The flan for dessert was great. The chocolate churros were okay. Service was exceptionally good.“

“Had no idea what to expect when a friend booked the reservation and it was amazing. Food was so good and we were all fighting over the family style leftovers when it was time to leave. Such a great atmosphere for a large friend group dinner and the perfect spot for great food and service. Thank you again!“

“Very lovely folks who work here and nice space, but if you’re a coffee snob who came for the high ratings just be a bit careful what you order.
The flat white here is a latte and the beans are not good. I think this is somewhere to go more for Turkish coffee or American-style syruped coffee. And (probably) good pastries!“
“A bit tough to get to on a winter's day with snow on the roads. But worth the effort. Top notch product, knowledgeable staff, plenty of seating options from a bar overlooking the distilling floor, to a barrel table by the aging barrels, to a vintage pinball rool (bring quarters). I had the Camp Out for a boozy take on s'mores that was excellently blended, and a taste of their rhubarb amaro that was an amazing first foray into that liqueur. Herbal bitterness offset by sweet floral notes that stands strong alone but also asks for creative cocktails. Looking forward to a return trip!“

“The food here is always great! Never a miss! My first time having brunch and everything was great! The drinks are great too! I forgot to take pics because I was having too much fun singing and dancing along to the live DJ!!!!! Boston needed a brunch spot like this!!!! Boston a vibe like ATL and DC ! Plus this is right in the heart of the community!!!! The owners are awesome the staff was a vibe!!!! Definitely recommend 10/10“
“Nice place to stop for a beer!“
“Long long long live overdue visit to the Best Brewery in Boston. All due respect to Sam Adams, Trill, and others these guys are masters of the IPA but don't go to sleep on Merry Dancer (dark lager) or the Frozie Cup Series. If you're hankering for light the Rox Pils and Kolsch are top tier! Beers to make you happy and a great space with parking. What else do you need in Boston?“

“The food is delicious and made with such care — every dish tastes fresh and flavorful. The pastries are outstanding — flaky, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. The café has a warm, inviting atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and helpful. A perfect spot for brunch, coffee, or a sweet treat. Highly recommend!“

“A new Indian restaurant in Kenmore, with awesome flavorful food and good value for money, specially their numerous delicious buffet course ...highly recommend. The mango lassi has the authentic Alphonso flavor ( not the run-of- the-mill slush you get in the other restaurant) Service was friendly and prompt!.
The ambiance is lovely with cute flowering chandeliers. 💐“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

“Went here with a friend who is a huge fan of this spot 🥯
. Bagels have a hard(ish) baked outside and a soft, fluffy inside. So incredibly good! Got the everything and salty bagels and the doughy poofy inside balanced out the salty flavors so well. Unfortunately when we went the limited edition vodka flavored cream cheese was sold out, but we still got to try the pesto butter and it did not disappoint! Pesto flavor was prevalent and the butter was so creamy. We each got the 3 bagels + 1 schmear deal, which was $15.
Service: the employees were so energetic and friendly. Absolutely loved their energy and the vibes!
Atmosphere: It was more of a grab and go so not much to say here, other than upbeat and casual!
Overall, highly recommend checking out a popup bagels, especially this location !“
“Highly recommend !!! Adams Apple - cider , Candlepin- light, and Fiver- hazy ipa, to start. Atmosphere is really open and inviting. Lots of natural light but that cozy dark vibe too. Bardo’s pizza is so good. It’s kind of giving naan with toppings in consistency and with super crusty crust like almost burnt but don’t be alarmed. Staff were overall really attentive and friendly! The outdoor space looked great but the winter weather did not cooperate. The Gen Zesty was unbelievably pickle tasting perfection but no soggy pickles! The ranch pickle dressing was so good you didn’t need the actual pickles on the pizza. Giving chicken bacon ranch but to the next level.“

“Everything you could want for breakfast &/or lunch. The fresh salad bar - build your own - is awesome, hard to find these days. The lunch bowls were excellent, with perfect rice, sides of chapchae noodles and stir fry veggies. Delicious egg sandwiches, too. We found the bulgogi/beef teriyaki a bit sweet, but overall delicious and perfectly seasoned. The bowl/plate is also nicely seasoned w/sesame & green onion garnish plus the delicious sides. Other sandwich & panini options look great, too, but we always crave the rice bowls. Also the food is always freshly made. Beware during lunch rush hour. Mid-late afternoon is best. We often take away for dinner. Like all good sauces, the flavors improve! The place has table & counter space to dine in, is bright & cute, coffee is delicious and service is excellent. You will want to return!“
