“Im writing this review a couple years after dining here. I had the short rib curry and it was fantastic. It unfortunately isn't on the menu anymore. But I see the owner has a sister restaurant, chayen in watertown, that still serves it.

It was an unctuous red curry base with great fragrance from lime leaves. The dish also turned me into a fan of peas.“

“Overall, this was a fun experience dining at Table! We did the 4 course menu, and it was a lot of food, so I cannot imagine doing the full dinner.

The atmosphere is what makes this restaurant special. The communal dining was unique and fun to try. It was fun to talk with strangers around you.

The food is good, but nothing wowed me. It is very good food, but it didn’t wow me like some other spots in North End have. Instead, come here and enjoy the experience. Sit down at the communal table, and just enjoy a nice 2 hours around new people!“

If you are looking for a place to propose to your significant other… this is NOT the appropriate place. As I mentioned the food was the finest I’ve ever had; however, the music was terrible. We felt like we were in a 1990’s discotheque. The music was loud, very heavy beat and not remotely romantic. We did mention to our waitstaff and they attempted to get it turned down to no avail. No coffee or dessert available either. I understand space is limited; however you have two of the finest dessert businesses well within walking distance. Even if you only carry two desserts. I would still go back there for the food with the hopes of different music…even soft jazz would be acceptable.“

“My first time here, and the first thing I noticed was how cute and inviting the space is! The food and drinks were sooo delicious. 😋 I had the Bom Dia breakfast sandwich, while my friend ordered the Greek breakfast sandwich. We also tried a couple of iced coffees and the gut-healing juice, everything was amazing! The staff were also very friendly. I’ll be back!“

“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. My new favorite spot for lunch or dinner in Boston.“

The savory breakfast items are especially popular. I personally think it’s good not great (a little too greasy), but their generous bacon-oriented offerings are especially popular.

Weekdays and weekends expect a little crowd and/or line of folks waiting to place or pickup their orders.“

“Food: I thought the broth rivaled a lot of other popular options in Chinatown/Allston. The spicy options were my favorite and complemented many of the options well. I thought the sauce bar was decent but not as extensive as some other places.

Service: mostly self-serve off an iPad - they won't check up too often.

Atmosphere: I appreciate the lanterns and the booths in the back. Will come out and sing for birthdays too which seems to be popular.

Overall: quality across the menu is great, and the soup bases are possibly my favorite in Boston. Can be a bit more expensive than other AYCE options, but generally worth it for the quality.“

“Visited again last night - food seems much better than in the past - and of course it is the wine list I come for - best in New England. Couple suggestions - please update the list! - 3 bottles we asked for were no longer available - it is impressive list - but I fear more and more of the bottles are not available. Other suggestion - lighting is very dim (? atmosphere) - so reading the list is impossible - would definitely give wait staff pen lights to give to folks on request. All that said - if you like good food, great wine, and very good service - great place to go to.“

“This place was AMAZING! We were served at the bar by David, who was fantastic to begin with. He really knew his stuff, made incredible drinks, and was fun to talk to.

The atmosphere was so lively and fun. A great date night spot, or spot for small groups of friends to hangout!

The food was very good. The tuna crudo was light and delicious. The patatas bravas were mouth watering. You really can't go wrong with anything you order.

Churros were the perfect way to end the night.

10/10 experience, could not recommend it enough. It is a quite busy and popular place so can be hard if you don't have reservations.

“Had a great experience at Shy Bird Fenway, especially thanks to Sydney! We initially sat down planning to eat there, but our plans unexpectedly changed and we needed to leave sooner than expected. We decided to take our food to go instead, and Sydney was incredibly accommodating.

What really stood out was her patience and how quickly she matched our sense of urgency. She immediately adapted to the situation, helped get everything switched over to go, and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. She was friendly, understanding, and professional throughout the entire experience.

The food was great as well. We went with the Smashburger and chicken nugget bites, and both were delicious.

Great food is always a plus, but service like Sydney’s is what really makes an experience memorable. She’s an absolute asset to the Shy Bird team and a great example of outstanding hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Hot fresh bagels with lots of seeds or toppings on them. It’s purely takeout so even if you only want one bagel get three with a schmear and have a party. They don’t have a place to sit, but there are plenty of spots nearby. Go across the street to the Commonwealth pier and enjoy a bagel with a view.“

“My wife and I went on a wedding trip in wine country California last year and had an amazing BLT sandwich with super fresh local ingredients at a little cafe. After returning home to the Boston area , I started a search for a lunch shop near my office on Portland Street that could replicate that BLT experience for me. Ultimately the Bonne Chance Cafe was it! The folks that own and run this place are quiet, seemingly shy, but sweet and lovely people very dedicated to their craft. I try at least once a week to go back there and get my BLT on toasted wheat bread with sliced grilled chicken added, and I've been doing this long enough now that they know exactly why I'm there. Their food is delectable and tasty! They run a tight ship, high on cleanliness and the freshest ingredients. Definitely a must find!“

“Hands down, the BEST smash beef burger everrrrr!!! I don’t think I’ll ever find a spot better than Burg & Shaw in the whole world. I tried their double beef burger. The beef was so so good, perfectly grilled, charred to perfection. The brioche buns with buttery taste, the right amount of burger sauce. Believe me if you are a real beef lover you won’t be needing any extra sauces! I’ll remember Boston for this eatery for sure. If you're hankering for light the Rox Pils and Kolsch are top tier! Beers to make you happy and a great space with parking. What else do you need in Boston?“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“
