A bit of a mixed review. Visiting Boston for the first time and this was one of the only local places in walking distance from where we were staying (try to support local businesses when traveling rather than chains).The staff were super friendly and we came in with a large family of six (which can probably really stress out many). I love Toasted Flats so much, but not as much as my dog Cisco does. Every time I walk by my dog drags me in to buy another coffee or sandwich. Every time Cisco enters the store he’s given several treats and warm welcomes. The staff at TF is excellent at making food and beverages but also making you feel welcomed in the neighborhood.

Came here early in the morning, got quick, polite and friendly service. I got a classic breakfast sandwich with bacon - 8/10 recommend (not quite enough bacon for my taste). Also got a hot latte that I enjoyed. Staff was very nice and happy to give recommendations and advice.
