Just a hop in from right off the main streets, they had a really nice selection of coffee, teas, pastries, soups, salads, etc. It’s very cozy inside with tables, chairs and low lighting. It was decently quiet inside, and the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got two pistachio lattes and they were incredibly good. Not too heavy on flavoring and they didn’t taste artificial. Overall, a nice stop for a bite and drink.“

“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“We were on a trip and found this Cafe during our walk through the historic places in Boston. It offers delicious pastries, various breakfast sandwiches and lots of options for coffee and tea. Their orange juice is spectacular and the closest one to a real orange juice I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is a little small for the number of the customers but there are also chairs and tables outside. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the Honey Halva Latte we had were so delicious. I didn't see vegan pastry options, but I admittedly wasn't looking for them, so might have missed one.“

“We got to our hotel (Marriot Copley) around 10:30am. Jaho was right next door. So we thought “why not”. So glad we did. Thankful we did!!!! I had the salmon bagel (lox). Never, have I ever had a bagel that good. It was so amazing. My husband had a turkey sandwich. Which, we LOVED. We are going back before we leave Boston! This place is a Gem!!!“

“I got a Steak Bomb here. I didn't see that on the menu (maybe I missed it; they had 30 things listed), but the person at the counter mentioned it as an option. The Steak Bomb was really good! The beef was pretty juicy and seemed pretty good quality, and they put a lot of good ingredients on it, like cheese, mayo, and peppers. The bread was also decently soft and not too dry, so it gave the overall sandwich a good texture. The sandwich was also only $14 (which I guess is not too expensive nowadays), and you get a lot for that (you can probably feed 2 people with it). They have tons of items, so I would be happy to go again to try them out.“

And JP Licks was the only place that made me smile when I was happy, sad , mad or even upset. “After walking around Boston in the 93 degree heat, stepping into Tatte felt like pure heaven. The bright white interior with its steel, stone, and faux marble design was beautiful, spotless, and refreshingly cool. It was the perfect escape from the summer heat.

For lunch, we ordered the Turkey Avocado Sandwich, the B.L.A.T., the tomato and cheese focaccia, and an iced chai latte. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and filling. You can definitely tell they use high quality ingredients.

Our only small complaint is that there isn’t a kids menu, and the food options for younger children are somewhat limited. Thankfully, the chocolate chip cookies were absolutely delicious and were a big hit with our kids.

Overall, this is a wonderful spot for a fresh lunch, excellent pastries, and a relaxing break from sightseeing in Boston. We’d definitely stop here again.“

“A huge thank you to the High St Tatte Team! In Nov-2024 on a work trip to Boston, I discovered (and fell in love with) their Gingerbread Tile cookies 🎄🎅. I returned this year and although it is early in the season, I placed an order and was determined to take as many Gingerbread Tiles as I could back home! Even though they only had 2 left, they made my day with their sweet note 📝 included in my delivery. Looking forward to my next Boston trip already!!! 🤩“

“I'm a west coast Shabu purist who used to work in Japan and I have to admit this place is very Chinese hot pot inspired BUT they do it in a clean honest Japanese way. Bright flavors, great cuts of meat, and fresh veggies. Great happy vibe and the window seat is an idyllic contrast between clean cultured shabu and gritty Chinatown. Love this place!“

“I don’t think I need to keep looking to find the best coffee place/ bakery. Being from Spain, I really appreciate good coffee and handmade baked goods, and Tatte is THE place. For my fellow Europeans reading this, I find Tatte very similar to Madrid’s Santagloria or London’s Gail’s. Relaxing atmosphere, tables where you can work, and excellent service as well. And this is not open to everyone as in, this is exclusively for the students of Boston University and they pay 15.70$ each for breakfast and lunch, 18.90$ for dinner. But students get to eat lot of varieties here. They even serve fresh fruits at salad station. There's a plenty of seating available that more than a thousand students can have food at once.“

I had the granola and yogurt which was pretty decadent. The sesame tea cake was delicious too. The americanos here are a bit large for my liking at 12oz but this is probably standard for the USA maybe. Coffee itself was nice.“
