“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

The passion fruit krembo, vanilla lime krembo, kouign-amann, etc etc. It was all phenomenal. The sour cherry danish, I don't have words for how good it was. There wasn't a bite we had that I wouldn't buy again. But I definitely recommend that danish!“

“This is a great place which we stumbled upon by chance. I highly recommend stoping by. We had a few sandwiches and tasted some of the delicious cakes (blueberry muffin, orange scone, pumpkin cheesecake) and I had the hot caramel cider. Everything was delicious! All of the cakes are homemade and the high quality of the ingredients is obvious. I found the prices to be reasonable and the people who owned/ worked in the cafe were lovely. I’m visiting from the UK and going home today but if I lived locally, this would be my new favourite cafe.“

“This was the first time at Mike pastry, and we felt wicked! I had the blueberry scone and my partner had the lobster tail. Both were amazing and taste and not too sweet. At most of the pastry shops have been to people overloaded with sugar, but not Mikes. We absolutely love this place and will definitely visit again whenever we are in Boston.
I had my eye on the lemon turnover and may try that next time.“

“I really like sukiyaki and mentaiko udon, and I always want to try them out, but the portions at their restaurant are too big. The service is also excellent and very attentive. I've seen someone drop their chopsticks, but before I could even react, the staff had already brought new chopsticks over.“

“I'm a west coast Shabu purist who used to work in Japan and I have to admit this place is very Chinese hot pot inspired BUT they do it in a clean honest Japanese way. Bright flavors, great cuts of meat, and fresh veggies. Great happy vibe and the window seat is an idyllic contrast between clean cultured shabu and gritty Chinatown. Love this place!“

“Namaste Boston was fantastic! The Chicken 65 was flavorful, and perfectly spiced, and the Aloo Tiki Chaat was delicious with the perfect balance of savory, tangy, and creamy flavors. The biryani was also excellent—fragrant, flavorful, and a generous portion.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came together for a great meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and highly recommend!“

“I got a Steak Bomb here. I didn't see that on the menu (maybe I missed it; they had 30 things listed), but the person at the counter mentioned it as an option. The Steak Bomb was really good! The beef was pretty juicy and seemed pretty good quality, and they put a lot of good ingredients on it, like cheese, mayo, and peppers. The bread was also decently soft and not too dry, so it gave the overall sandwich a good texture. The sandwich was also only $14 (which I guess is not too expensive nowadays), and you get a lot for that (you can probably feed 2 people with it). They have tons of items, so I would be happy to go again to try them out.“

“We got to our hotel (Marriot Copley) around 10:30am. Jaho was right next door. So we thought “why not”. So glad we did. Thankful we did!!!! I had the salmon bagel (lox). Never, have I ever had a bagel that good. It was so amazing. My husband had a turkey sandwich. Which, we LOVED. We are going back before we leave Boston! This place is a Gem!!!“

“I have been going to JP Licks for years. I was telling the young lady who was serving us. That I use to come to JP Lick when I was in high school. And JP Licks was the only place that made me smile when I was happy, sad , mad or even upset. “Tatte in Kenmore is such a good breakfast spot. The wait to get in was definitely on the longer side, but honestly, that’s just to be expected for a place this popular with food this good. We grabbed a strawberry turnover, the chicken salad sandwich, an oat fruit bowl, and a matcha. Everything tasted super fresh, and the drinks were made really well too. The strawberry turnover was easily a highlight with how flaky it was. Total crowd-pleaser spot—just give yourself a little extra time for the line if you go during peak hours!“

It's a weird place to navigate cause the drinks come out on one end of the shop (big shop btw,) the food on the other, but so worth it. “I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“
