“This is a great little coffee shop with good coffee and great vibes. There is a good amount of seating available despite the small space with a few bar stools. Both baristas were very friendly and helpful to myself and another international customer. They gave both of different ideas for places to visit and see while we were in town. Thai Tea Cake: The Thai milk tea flavor is balanced and delicate. The cake itself is soft yet slightly coarse, and the cream is smooth and creamy. It's very pleasant to eat.

Ube Latte: It tastes like the ube milk tea or ube ice cream cones I used to eat as a child, but it's not as sweet, and you can taste the good quality milk.“

“Union Cafe has become one of my favorite go-to places in Lynn, MA. My wife and I recently moved to the area and upon visiting Union Cafe, we found the options limited for us due to the fact my wife and I are both vegan. After speaking with the very friendly owner, Charbell, and telling him, though we loved the place, thaat except for muffins, and beverages, there wasn't much for us to eat. He asked us what he could do to facilite us and after brought in Impossible burgers and Felafel wraps, both vegan. It has now become our regualar haunt. The entire staff is very friendly and provides exceptional service. I love when a business owner listens to his customers and responds so well. BTW, my wife loves the felafel and they cook the Impossible burger to order which is fantastic!“

“I’ve come here many times and get the same combo. The iced coffee is refreshing and easy to drink. I can’t speak to the barista coffee. I like the fact that I saw the coffee being percolated for the iced coffee. The sandwiches are the winner. The crunchy bread, the peppers, the cheese and meat, it’s overall a well made sandwich that rings true to the name of the cafe, rustic French vibes. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. We’re about to leave Harvard this semester, and one of the great things we’ll miss is Dado.“

It's a tiny place, which you would think would discourage many. But not here!! That should tell you something. Not only is there a line out the door for 'to-go' ordering, but people filing in and out who ordered ahead - not to mention those ]like myself] willing to wait - cramped - patiently awaiting a seat to open in order to dine in. Ya, to some it might seem more hassle than the hype. But I say the hassle is because the hype is true!! Anything worth having is worthy a bit of struggle to get it.
