“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

“If you want a hometown diner feel, this is the place to go! Went for breakfast here this morning and it was great! The service, food and staff were awesome. I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. “Breakfast newbie, heard great things, went, ordered of a limited yet varietal menu, sat outside in first come first serve seats, food made to order was out with minimal wait, delivered to our table. Theenu is primarily breakfast sandwiches, some with an Italian flair (foccacciabread for example). Limited GF options but they offered a corn wrap. The food is very good, the staff is friendly, and a good place to have a quick bite for breakfast“

“Breakfast sandwiches are okay. Bacon is thicker and chewy- not crispy. Bread is toasted well. I did ask for my sandwich well-done, and it was just toasted okay. I would imagine they’re not usually toasted well. The best part about the “crack” sandwich was all of the gooey cheese. It saved the whole meal. Who can go wrong with a grilled cheese? Egg was fried perfectly, and just a bit runny. Wish the bacon was better and the sandwich had a little seasoning. It was very plain. The cheese made it, really. But like I said, they really couldn’t go wrong with all of the cheese they put in there.“

“This place really is a gem! Awesome atmosphere, GREAT food- everything we had from the Benedict, waffles, smash burger, and the crazy deserts all were so good!

Also I HAVE to mention Paulina! Our server was out of this world! Our entire table all unanimously agreed she was the best waitress we’ve ever had.

Even if everything else wasn’t as on point as it was we’d come back just to have her as a server!

“I just tried this place this past Saturday .. it was my birthday and this was my special treat. My husband got a dozen (all different kinds from maple bacon to cannoli.. to apple cider whoopie pie and more! )..And omg.. Best. Donuts. Ever. They are (by far!) the most delicious, lightest, fluffiest melt in your mouth, loaded with flavor, huge and just all around most fantastic donuts I’ve ever had in my life!! “Great Breakfast! Ordered the country omelet with home fries, Irish eggs benedict, and a blueberry pancake. Toast/potatoes/corned beef hash all could've been more well done in our opinion, but the pancake was AMAZING!! Big blueberries, very thick but cooked through and tender with crispy outside 😋 would come back for sure but would maybe just ask for it to be cooked longer for my liking“

Prices are beyond fair especially given the quality; coffees always bold and fresh. Home fries are by far the best in middelsex county. Everything from the hash to the pancakes is always great and has the made from scratch taste. The best part of Jimmys is the family who owns it, Rita is one of a kind and you can’t replicate this place or it’s atmosphere anywhere else. I recommend to give Jimmys a try if you haven’t yet, you will be back for more!“

“I don't know if he was the owner or just one of the employees there, but the gentleman name Assiss was super awesome! My friend and I were a bit famished, but didn't want to buy food just yet. We both had something small in mind to hold us over. Muffins popped into my mind. We saw and drove by Mass Hole Donuts and thought of trying is, but didn't quite want sugar. We kept driving down the street when we saw Magnificent Muffin. We slightly passed it and immediately placed the vehicle in reverse and parked right out front. We got out only to find out they had just closed. The guy was behind the counter and I was pleading with him to open the door and he did. He told us he was out of muffins as they go fast. We were bummed. When he saw our reaction he offered to make us something else. We both ordered jalapeno bagels with cream cheese. He ended i'm finding a few tiny muffins left and gave it to us. The whole experience, the food everything was spectacular.Thank you, sir. We appreciate you!“
