“Breakfast newbie, heard great things, went, ordered of a limited yet varietal menu, sat outside in first come first serve seats, food made to order was out with minimal wait, delivered to our table. Theenu is primarily breakfast sandwiches, some with an Italian flair (foccacciabread for example). Limited GF options but they offered a corn wrap. The food is very good, the staff is friendly, and a good place to have a quick bite for breakfast“

“I expected more than corned beef out of a can from the description on the menu. The home fries were cold. Good sized portions and the service was adequate. We chose another breakfast place for the next day. Great location, though, in a walkable neighborhood .“

“This place really is a gem! Awesome atmosphere, GREAT food- everything we had from the Benedict, waffles, smash burger, and the crazy deserts all were so good!

Also I HAVE to mention Paulina! Our server was out of this world! Our entire table all unanimously agreed she was the best waitress we’ve ever had.

Even if everything else wasn’t as on point as it was we’d come back just to have her as a server!

“I have been going to Maryann's for a while. Its a local breakfast and lunch place. All the food is cooked to order by Bob the Owner. I usually go for Breakfast but Lunch items are available as well. It is usually a 1 person operation except for Saturdays when Georgia usually works as a Server. Coffee is freshly brewed and very tasty. it is cash only but the gas station across the road has an ATM. Give them a try.“

“When I lived in Dorchester, I could hardly believe how old this is. Build 84 years before this became a country outstanding! There are a lot of historical buildings in Boston, they are a must-see when you visit. Just try to street clear of the Mass ave nonsense.“

“I’ve been coming to this deli for 13 years and I order the same thing regularly. It’s not even a menu item, so I’ve always been charged based on what goes into it, and the price has been consistent every time I’ve ordered it.

Today, I was charged significantly more than usual. I still paid it because I assumed prices may have gone up. The issue started when I simply mentioned that the price was different than what I normally pay.

The employee immediately became loud, rude, and confrontational. He claimed he was giving me a discount today, even though I never asked for one and was willing to pay the price. I was only pointing out that the amount was different than what I had always been charged before.

What should have been a simple conversation turned into an unnecessary scene. After being a customer for 13 years, I found the way I was spoken to completely disrespectful and unprofessional.

What bothered me most was feeling singled out and humiliated in front of other customers over a simple comment about the price. Whether that was his intention or not, that’s how the interaction made me feel. After 13 years of supporting this business, this experience has convinced me not to return.“
