“Let’s talk about the Greatness that is called “The Grill & Eye!” I was home on a visit and as always I try to engage a new restaurant. As my Bestfriend lives in Weymouth, I stumbled across The Grill & Eye on Yelp and we decided to go for breakfast. Before even getting there, the pictures I saw had me ready to eatttttttttttt. The location was super easy to find as it sits directly on the main road. Parking is scarce, however, there is street parking available and we were able to grab a good spot. Yaay! Walking in, the ambiance is super homely and gives the feel of a mom & pops kind of restaurant. It’s small and quaint, however, they have made great use of the space. The waitress at the counter was very inviting and welcomed us with a huge smile and friendly Welcome In. As it is a seat yourself setup, we decided to sit near the back wall. Once seated the waitress was at our table immediately. She presented us with the menus and took our drink order. OhEmGee! Let’s talk about the menu. There is no shortage of options whatsoever! The variation of food options truly make it a hard decision to figure out what you want. I’m all for ordering the entire menu, lol. In all seriousness, the menu is amazing and there is something for everyone regardless of what you have a taste for. I decided to order the platter with 2 Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage Links, and Eggs. As I don’t eat eggs, I was excited that I was able to swap out my eggs for grits. It’s the small things in life that mean the most. LoL! Once our order was placed, the excitement increased and we were ready to eat. Seeing the other orders come out for the tables around us truly increased the anticipation. Ha! Lucky for me, the food didn’t take long at all. Everything was out in a timely manner and every single item on the plate was fresh. Speaking of fresh, all of the meat was quality cuts and the grits were real grits. The food was not only fresh but it was flavorful. The sweet to salt ratio provided by the pancake syrup and meat really made every single bite a mouth pleasing, flavor rewarding experience. The bacon was crispy and meaty. The pancakes were fluffy and a perfect size as they almost covered the entire plate. The sausage was flavorful and not too greasy, and best of all, the grits were not too watery or too stiff. The water to grit ratio was spot on and the natural grit flavor wasn’t overpowered by the butter, yet the butter was present and added to the creamy smooth texture that was accomplished. Overall I am overjoyed by my meal, the service, and the pricing at The Grill & Eye and I will be returning the next time I’m home for a visit.“

“Tiny place. But they know what they’re doing. Went in one of these freezing days. Thankfully there wasn’t too many people waiting, a lot of DoorDash orders I noticed. Was able to wait/ eat inside at the little counter even with the bulk of my jacket. Probably the most delicious breakfast sandwich I ever had/ will ever have. The bacon was perfect and the sourdough was insane. I was worried about it being too greasy and heavy but it was actually fine. The two guys working were great and friendly. Heard the cashier giving recs to everybody.“

“Visiting the Boston area and found this gem, randomly. All I can say is wow, wow, wow! If you are in the area and want to find a local gem, this is the place. If you can't find something to eat here, you really are trying to not to find something. The service, amazing! “Every morning there's a "gentleman" sitting at the counter drinking coffee and playing KENO, rambling on openly about his political leanings. He has maximum opinions with minimal boundaries. Although ill informed he apparently has a strong need to feel like he's right , even if it means raising his voice. Fortunately, because he isn't eating, he's usually gone by 8:30am.... Went to Mike and Patty’s in high rise and they had no bacon so we left and found this place. 2 egg, toast, homefries and bacon with coffee for two was $20. Total. “We have been there many times for breakfast and the food, wait staff and atmosphere are outstanding. They have the BEST hot chocolate I've ever had! The food is always cooked to my satisfaction, I always have leftovers to bring home and the pancakes are amazingly light and fluffy, as well as very large! I can't say enough good things about them. My husband and I go there at least once every 2 weeks now that we're retired. There is ample parking and it is very easy to get to. I've noticed a lot of regulars now that we go there so often, and that's always a good sign. I highly recommend it. Our son, who is vegetarian, has no problem finding items he can eat and even he's impressed with it. It's the best breakfast place around and we won't go to any others, even Newcomb Farms, which used to be our favorite.“

“Originally California Underground started out as a taco joint, and they serve delicious tacos, burritos, quesadillas, taco bowls and more.

However, NOW, they started to serve breakfast and boy oh boy…. This is probably going to be my new breakfast spot in hull! Everything was delicious from the breakfast burrito, to the corn beef hash, and they even serve shakshouka! I haven’t found a place that serves shakshouka in town and as someone who loves Mediterranean food this was certainly a welcoming addition!

Everything seemed very fresh and homemade, and the prices were very fair! Don’t pass up on their new breakfast menu, and certainly don’t pass up on the lunch and dinner that they have been serving up for years now!“

“This was so much better than last year. The food & drink choices were interesting & tasty. This year's musical entertainment was outstanding! The move to ordering & paying by QR Code made life so much easier. We didn't have to try getting the attention of the servers. They cleared away dirty items (which they did not do last year). I did notice servers standing around talking with each other while we were waiting to be served. But one server jumped right on it after I mentioned it. So everything was better.
