“I’ve driven past this diner for years and decided yesterday on my way to work to stop by. The atmosphere was of a classic diner which I appreciate and everyone working there were good, friendly, wholesome people. The food was excellent. I ordered a wrap, Elvis Presley pancakes, a strawberry banana smoothie, and a side of kielbasa , late night out led to early morning hunger lol. Definitely stopping in more frequently.“
“We LOVE Skillets. Our family has been coming here frequently since our daughter was a new born. They kept new, overly tired parents caffeinated and have been exceptional towards our daughter. Our waitress calls our daughter her Bestie! I ordered on DoorDash one and asked for a heart in chocolate chips because our daughter was potty training. They not only did that- but they made it Mickey Mouse!!! Only a good hearted kitchen staff would surpass our expectations. “How is the best New York style pizza in town inside a bakery?? BHOP is a great Greek style but in the year that I worked in Braintree, I haven't found a better slice of NY pizza. The fact that I can get a cookie the size of my entire hand while I'm here doesn't hurt either. Friendly staff, good food, great prices - doesn't get any better than this. Well, it might when I make myself try something other than the pizza but it's sooo good!“

“We used to come here nearly weekly, the we mived. Not far, but far enough not to go anymore. When we left, the restaurant had just changed hands and was trying hard to maintain the homey feeling the joint already had .We visited for the first time in two years on a weekday and I'm happy to say the have settled in nicely. They also offer some things that usually aren't found around here, ironically including the Boston Cooler, which is an ice-cream based drink with a specific type of ginger ale. If you're just up for a normal cone with a scoop of your favorite basic flavor, they do that too. Only knock is that they can get really busy and service can be a bit slow at times. “Stopped in for the first time around 9:30 a.m. and ordered breakfast; eggs Florentine (shown). The portions were huge; the service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. It was surprisingly busy. Although prices seem to be high at first, they are comparable to other breakfast places. I enjoyed my breakfast there and will likely go back. Next time I will order a healthier option like multigrain pancakes with banana.“

“We were craving breakfast food and this was the spot we chose which was perfect bc it was close to the hotel. Everyone ordered their basic 2 egg breakfast, I ordered their Mediterranean Menemen/Shaksuka which was delicious. 1 less star bc the home fries were a bit too soggy for our taste. Both the lady who sat us and the gentleman who took our order were very very kind. I would definitely recommend.“
“We had breakfast on Sunday, April 7, at 10:30. Seated immediately and waited on promptly. Food prepared exactly as requested: crispy bacon, sausages, medium toasted raisin bread, eggs over easy, home fires, blueberries inside the pancake, real maple syrup, decaf coffee with milk. The home fries were so good that we did not add ketchup! (We usually soak our home fries in ketchup). Quality of bacon, sausages, and the raisin bread was excellent (not the cheap stuff). Atmosphere was pleasant. Staff friendly. Artwork, plants, and suncatchers on display are for sale and adds to the ambiance. Parking available on side street. Our breakfast was perfect. I left a tip for the chef as well.“

“When I travel, I normally love to try new places every day that I am in a city, but this diner was so good that I went there twice during my trip (and would have gone three times if I could’ve!) The food is so good, the staff is so friendly and genuinely kind, and the place is just one of those hole in the wall, mom and pop diners you rarely see anymore. I’m glad I stopped in, and if you’re ever in that area you should absolutely give this one a try. I know if I ever make my way to Randolph again, this is the first stop for me!“
