“Love this place! You get a lot of good food for your money. The homemade hash was a highlight for me. The pancakes are thick and fluffy - they practically have their own zip code!“

“Had a great breakfast here, very simple and the food was good. Plenty of parking in the front and the back, country style atmosphere, plenty of tables and booths and our waitress was super friendly. Easy to find location on art 18 in Whitman. The prices are great, not outrageous and they give you a ton of food, there is no skimping at this place! I will definitely be back!
If you are looking for specialty coffee’s you will not find them here, a very traditional breakfast place👍👍👍😊
Vegetarian options: I really think you are able to make anything vegetarian.“

“Great little breakfast place. Service and food are outstanding. Gave 5 stars for atmosphere because they perfectly capture the small family owned “breakfast diner grill” vibe, yet clean and well ventilated (grill doesn’t fill the space with smoke).“

“This place is how I remember home. Some might know me as a breakfast sangwich expert… One sangwich, you all know the rules… this was easily one of, if not the best breakfast sangwich of all time. Served just as ordered, bacon, egg, cheese on grilled English, cooked over easy. Scores 9.5 , must stop “breakfasts” joints on the south shore. Oh and the sweet ladie behind the counter was great, Been a very enjoyable week.“
“I cannot believe I did not know this places existed until now!It is open to the public, and has tastier, more affordable meals, with larger portions, than any breakfast place around here!My omelet had generous amounts of broccoli, onions, mushrooms, and peppers. I could choose between four varieties of cheese, and it came with toast or bagel (plain, everything, or cheddar and jalapeño were options) for $13.99! This is two meals right here! There are vast options for teas and cooled drinks (and varieties such as Ashwaganda and Soursop, which you simply cannot get anywhere around here), as well as a chocolate selection to rival any grocery store! There was a cooler with fresh fruit cups and cake slices as well, and a counter for dressing up your meal with any number is sauces! From lunch wraps and sandwiches, to salads, to omelets, or just bacon, eggs, sausage, and home fries, this place has it all, and it is quiet, spacious, and has room to work.I will be back and will tell friends! The owner (I assume) was so incredibly kind and made me feel quite welcome. When I told her how recited I was for the variety of teas, she even gave me an extra to take home for later.Speedy, quality service, amazing atmosphere, fully accessible (ELavator or stairs down, and tons of parking out front), and fantastic food.Five stars well earned!!!!“

“Amazing Delivery Experience!
I ordered from Toast of the Town for delivery, and it was incredible! The food arrived on time, still warm, and packaged perfectly to maintain freshness. Every bite tasted like it was straight from their kitchen to my table.
The avocado toast was a standout—fresh, flavorful, and generously topped. The French toast traveled surprisingly well, staying soft and perfectly sweet without getting soggy. Even the coffee I ordered was thoughtfully packaged and still warm!
I really appreciated the care they put into their delivery service, from the quality of the food to the secure and eco-friendly packaging. Toast of the Town made my lazy day at home feel like a gourmet brunch experience. Definitely ordering again!“

“Let’s talk about the Greatness that is called “The Grill & Eye!” I was home on a visit and as always I try to engage a new restaurant. As my Bestfriend lives in Weymouth, I stumbled across The Grill & Eye on Yelp and we decided to go for breakfast. Before even getting there, the pictures I saw had me ready to eatttttttttttt. The location was super easy to find as it sits directly on the main road. Parking is scarce, however, there is street parking available and we were able to grab a good spot. Yaay! Walking in, the ambiance is super homely and gives the feel of a mom & pops kind of restaurant. It’s small and quaint, however, they have made great use of the space. The waitress at the counter was very inviting and welcomed us with a huge smile and friendly Welcome In. As it is a seat yourself setup, we decided to sit near the back wall. Once seated the waitress was at our table immediately. She presented us with the menus and took our drink order. OhEmGee! Let’s talk about the menu. There is no shortage of options whatsoever! The variation of food options truly make it a hard decision to figure out what you want. I’m all for ordering the entire menu, lol. In all seriousness, the menu is amazing and there is something for everyone regardless of what you have a taste for. I decided to order the platter with 2 Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage Links, and Eggs. As I don’t eat eggs, I was excited that I was able to swap out my eggs for grits. It’s the small things in life that mean the most. LoL! Once our order was placed, the excitement increased and we were ready to eat. Seeing the other orders come out for the tables around us truly increased the anticipation. Ha! Lucky for me, the food didn’t take long at all. Everything was out in a timely manner and every single item on the plate was fresh. Speaking of fresh, all of the meat was quality cuts and the grits were real grits. The food was not only fresh but it was flavorful. The sweet to salt ratio provided by the pancake syrup and meat really made every single bite a mouth pleasing, flavor rewarding experience. The bacon was crispy and meaty. The pancakes were fluffy and a perfect size as they almost covered the entire plate. The sausage was flavorful and not too greasy, and best of all, the grits were not too watery or too stiff. The water to grit ratio was spot on and the natural grit flavor wasn’t overpowered by the butter, yet the butter was present and added to the creamy smooth texture that was accomplished. Overall I am overjoyed by my meal, the service, and the pricing at The Grill & Eye and I will be returning the next time I’m home for a visit.“

“First time trying the Blueberry Muffin today and it was such a wonderful experience! Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The chef brought out two muffins he made for my friends and I to try. They were SPECTACULAR!!! Such fun and creative ways to elevate your favorite bakery items. Having the outside seating was perfect for a day like today. The portions you get for the price are absolutely generous and delicious. I cannot wait to come back for my next meal!“

“Place was empty around 930am which I didn't mind. Hadn't been there in a long time. Food was good. Service good. Ordered the two eggs, home fries, bacon, toast and coffee for 9 dollars and change. Ended up costing12.95. I left 15.00. Imo I feel that's an expensive breakfast. Going to try Alexanders again“

“Dinner’s very popular so with a little wait after registration.
Great traditional breakfast (eggs, sausages or bacon, hash browns, taosts) or pancakes, all of a reasonable size for French people.
Don’t hesitate if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.“

“CASH ONLY!!!!
Adorable little place with a home-like feel.
I came at 11:30 and they were nearly sold out of muffins and donuts.
I ordered a cup of rooibos tea (it was Trader Joe’s brand), and a chocolate coconut donut. The tea is delicious (I love the brand). The donut was quite dry inside. I didn’t finish it.
They use wicked bagels, which I was familiar with but I didn’t want a bagel today.
Both came to $6, but I had to go to the ATM which charged $3.50 (in addition to what my bank will charge which is likely $3ish), so it was a net cost of $12.50.
I don’t make a habit of going to places that don’t take card because I don’t carry cash, and the cost of using an ATM that doesn’t happen to be associated with your bank makes is not a good choice for consumers.
I think (having owned a coffee shop myself) the better choice for a business is to charge a tiny bit more for products to cover the cost of processing cards each month. It really isn’t that much, and you lose business (like mine), if you have no way for customers to pay with card.
Eveyone was friendly.
The door wasn’t touch to open.
Parking is right out front.“

“As a delivery driver for IHOP there's a 5 minute tops wait USUALLY. If it's busy the wait can be almost too long. The food is good, gets brought out generally quickly when sitting down to eat. I'm bummed they don't have the harvest grain and nut pancakes anymore, but that's no fault of the restaurant.
Also on the flavored syrups: they don't have them sitting out on the tables anymore like strawberry, blueberry, etc. You have to ask.“
