Both 'The OG' and 'The Sunny Girl' were so delicious that we were already planning on when we could go back again as we left the restaurant. Smaller inside but has a cute window bar and there are some tables out front where you can sit on a nice day - highly recommend!“

I also ordered a caramel iced latte which was just as great! The owner and staff were all very friendly. The atmosphere was also nice with the large windows and mini grocery section off to the side. “My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

“If you're into little places that make you feel right at home, Ernie's Lunch is a must try.

My wife and I both got a full breakfast and a side of bacon and pancakes for only 28 bucks. It would have been roughly 40+ anywhere else. Food was fantastic as well!

And the service was even better than the food if you can imagine that!

Atmosphere may not be up your alley, it's an older spot and looks like such but once you walk in you'll either smile and sit down and have a great breakfast with incredible service, or you'll miss out lol

“Cash only but hands down the best breakfast I've had in Massachusetts. I travel for work and try to always go to mom N pop shops. This one was awesome. Calm environment for breakfast and their home fries have become my top of the list.“

“I decided to try this place out because I promised my coworkers that I'd bring bagels in and most places don't open till later. The shoppe is small but they more than make up for that with a super friendly staff.

The ladies got my order together quickly and I still made it to work early. I grabbed a coffee to go which is pretty good and the food made my crew very happy.

“I've often walked past this great place during my daily walks. The blinds were always down, so I thought it wasn't open. However, when my sister visited from Quincy earlier this week, we decided to have breakfast there. Peter’s Sunrise did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. My sister even said the toast was the best she had ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The coffee is good too. The service was welcoming as well. Today will be my 4th time having breakfast there. I highly recommend it.“

“Ate here on vacation twice and the family loved it. Breakfast was great- I had the breakfast sandwich and the kids had pancakes. Lunch had many unexpected items. I had the musaka, which I had no idea what it was, but it was amazing. The guys working the counter bantered and were a ton of fun.“

My order came up promptly. Customer Service was above average i was accommodated on the particulars. They charge you extra if you use a card instead of cash

The grits were fine. I personally like them creamier. The sausage was small, salty, and not hot/spicy. I like my sausage hot and spicy. It did have a good flavor though. So I'm pretty sure it was just plain regular smoked sausage. I could have checked but I'm on a schedule today.

“My goodness, I have tasted bagels over many countries. These leave them all in the dust. I can't put my finger on what is different but I will say that they are delightful in taste, texture, chewiness, tenderness. The flavors of toppings and cream cheese are delicious as well, not too strong and not too subtle. What a great place!“

“The food is very well made and delivered quickly. The staff are attentive and work diligently. The only issue is the closeness of tables and lack of sound dampening. This isn't a good place for sound sensitive individuals. Also crowded, for great reason, and lends a touch of personal bubble invasion. They do take orders! And they have some outdoor seating.

A parent from our school had contacted them in regards to purchasing cookies for an event we have at the school for several children who have allergies. Twist and their staff were so pleasant to deal with and more than generous in what they did for us. All the littles were so excited that there was an option for cookies at the event for them that was not only safe, it was extremely yummy! Thank you again Twist for making our school kids day and putting parents minds at ease. We will surely be spreading the word about you!“

“Small neighborhood greasy spoon diner with generous portions and an excellent breakfast menu. Numerous daily specials including omelets, stuffed French toast and benedicts. I had the William Wallace omelet with fresh apples inside for a sweet savory and my girlfriend had one with avocado, broccoli and spinach. Service was polite and self service coffee was available. Not necessarily a destination for brunch but a nice place if you live in the neighborhood.“
