Brookline Lunch Reviews
Fantastic service , great food
Been going here for ages, before it blew up. Delicious pancakes but I always come for the shakshouka and the prices! Cash only and classic diner rules. People complaining about the no water - bring your own! What you see is what you get and to me that is damn good.
Took my cousin here for the famous Baklava pancakes and they indeed do live up to the hype. They are sweet but not too sweet and really remind me of true Levantine Baklava.

Brookline Lunch is a phenomenal diner in Cambridge's Central Square area, known for its unique dishes like Baklava Pancakes. This family-owned restaurant offers many vegetarian menu options and is worth waiting for, even on busy weekends. The food is delicious, with standout dishes like shakshuka, zatar bowl, and beef curry, all made with generous portions. The baklava pancakes are particularly mouth-watering, rich, and can easily be shared. Customers have praised the Jerusalem omelette for its veggie-packed goodness. While the atmosphere can be quite loud due to the open kitchen and music, the temperature is comfortable with a big fan in the dining room. It is important to note that the restaurant is cash-only, and there is an ATM across the street. Although the lines can be long, the staff is friendly, and the food is worth the wait. However, some customers have mentioned that the tables could be cleaner and that the restaurant tends to get hot due to limited air circulation.
