“Last night I had the pleasure of visiting Volo Craft Pizza in Swampscott, MA — and wow, what an experience! 🌊🍕 The ambiance right by the water is beautiful, with Boston’s skyline in the distance, and the service made us feel right at home. Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. The pizzas are clearly made with love, and I can’t wait to bring my parents back to try it. If you’re anywhere near the North Shore (or even if you’re not) — do yourself a favor and try Volo. “I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“This chick had the potential to Ben epic unfortunately it fell a little short. The good, bread and sauce amazing! Fresh love dip. Had regular marinara on sandwich was was light and tomatoey really enjoyed. Chicken cutlet point breaded to perfection. Unfortunately, a little dry. Wife had meatball grinder and she felt the same way. We did go there around 4:00 p.m.. would try again. Oh fries were some of the best I've had in a while.“

“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.

Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.“

If you are looking for a place to propose to your significant other… this is NOT the appropriate place. As I mentioned the food was the finest I’ve ever had; however, the music was terrible. We felt like we were in a 1990’s discotheque. The music was loud, very heavy beat and not remotely romantic. We did mention to our waitstaff and they attempted to get it turned down to no avail. No coffee or dessert available either. I understand space is limited; however you have two of the finest dessert businesses well within walking distance. Even if you only carry two desserts. I would still go back there for the food with the hopes of different music…even soft jazz would be acceptable.“

“Visited Boston for the first time and discovered this place in the North End. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip! We started at the bar with a peanut butter espresso martini, which may have ruined all future espresso martinis for us because it was that good. The owner made us feel right at home, and our waiter was top notch. We had the Caprese salad, chicken parm, lasagna, and Chianti, and everything was delicious. “A lovely restaurant with great service, a charming setting, and plenty of memorable dishes. The staff was attentive and made the experience feel special. The fried cauliflower stood out, and using the warm bread from the shrimp and garlic dish to enjoy the sauce made it even better. For entrees, the herb-crusted lamb chops and roasted branzino are both excellent options. A perfect place whether you’re in the mood for a seafood feast or a flavorful meat dish.“

Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings!
