“Chelsea and the Ipswich Ale team let us host friends and family the night before our wedding and they were great! We were able to drop off decorations early to help with logistics and have the entire brewery for our party after they ended their dinner service. Everyone thought the brewery was an incredible venue and raved about the food and drinks. We're always going to stop by for a bite and a drink when we're in town.“

Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. “This place is the best Asian food around! It's under new ownership from a family from NYC and everything tastes amazing. We've already been twice this week since we stumbled on the place because it was the only place still open. Ben was so friendly, made great recommendations and even remembered the names of all our kids. We've tried the schezwan chicken, lo mein, gyoza, tempura, fried rice, dynamite rolls, bento boxes and it was all fantastic. Dave's a very talented chef and was also really nice to us. Everyone there treated us like family. We will be back many times!“

“Can’t recommend the Grove for a private event highly enough! We had my daughter’s baby shower in the Bramble House at the end of January. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and loved by our guests! What truly made the day so special was the help of Rachel, our event coordinator and her team. “I have been here several times over the years. I love their fisherman's platter as it has a little of everything. I think my favorite is a toss up between the clams and the scallops. I love their tarter sauce and the plates come with fries or onion rings which are delicious themselves. Nothing better than to take a road on the back roads of Massachusetts and stop in for a plate. The portions are huge and now that I am getting older - I end up having to share. Side note - Woodmans was featured in the Adam Sandler film Grownups - released in 2010. There is also a small ice cream shop in the back which has some great flavors in case you're still hungry afterwards.“

“Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! The owner greeted us warmly and seated us, the atmosphere was fantastic, not too stuffy, prices were well worth what I got served! The food was best tacos I’ve ever had in my life!!! Every taco was a piece of art. We had in total 4 different kinds of tacos : the bierra ones (brisket) came with this dipping au jus that was succulent and delish. The fish tacos were perfect and moist as were the shrimp ones with cabbage and slaw red onion so good, the Carne Asada (sirloin) was my favorite! The appetizer of deconstructed street corn was everything you love and want on street corn without the mess! And lastly the flan- a good decent flan- not the best I’ve ever had but the tacos made up for it!
Also drinks were great. Get the spicy margherita but it IS spicy! Thank you for a warm and welcoming perfect night!“

Our sever Brenna was amazing very attentive when the place was buzzing. The atmosphere in here was nothing but pure joy from all around laughter and happiness filled the restaurant. “This restaurant has some of the kindest staff. They are always so great with my kids and just incredibly accommodating. The menu is vast with a seafood focus but plenty of options for anyone. Great drinks and obviously great location too. On the pricier side but I think the cost matches what you get for food and location. This is always a safe spot for us to bring guests!“

Wish they didn't have some sort of video game for people to play. Its one large room with a large bar and it's already plenty loud without that. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting the best! I'm not the only one that likes it there. There was only one empty table left. Wheelchair access, handicap parking nesr the front door that makes it an easy access for those needing it. Will definitely go back there. Hard to find anywhere with a breakfast this good.“

“What can I say other than magical?! We were fortunate enough to host my son’s 11th birthday party in the back room (The kids loved the secret hidden entrance through the bookcase). Tons of great games for all ages and the food was fantastic! Literally everything we had was gourmet quality and up to my foodie 11 year-old’s standards. “My wife and I have not had much luck with dining out lately so when it came to picking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner I was nervous that I would find the right place. I came across Nine Elm and read the reviews. They were amazing. So we made a reservation but I was still cautiously optimistic. Things could not have gone better! We arrived and where we were seated was noising, not what we wanted for an anniversary dinner. When I asked the waitress if there was a quieter spot she went to speak to the manager in we were moved immediately. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but professional. The wine was lovely and the food delicious. We ordered the duck and the swordfish special and they were both cooked to perfection. For dessert we split a Creme Brule. The custard was light and creamy a pleasant surprise. We had an amazing time. We will be back!“

“My hat's off to the wait staff there. While my wife and I were trying to leave there today there was a tremendous rain downpour. A couple of young staff scrambled to find an umbrella. One of the help came over to us as we stood just outside the entry door and handed us the umbrella and said that someone left it behind probably months ago and asked us to take it. This is just a sample of the attentiveness of the staff at Angie's. We always have a great dining experience there.“

“Came by on Father's Day for a mid afternoon lunch with my son & 2 grandsons after a couple hours ( 3 strings), of highly competitive, and hard fought candlepin bowling at Sunnyside Lanes in Danvers, service was prompt& attentive, the food done right, fresh, & tasty, and the price was fair and in line with today's dining out financial issues, everything was eaten -up, even the boys( ages 8+10, who can be a little fussy sometimes, ate a little more than half their portions until they were full and then both requested doggie bags so they could have it later at home,which they usually don't do. We just walked in hoping it wasn't too crowded, cause we didn't even try reservations, not too crowded at all, a few folks sitting at the bar watching Sox, and about half the booths taken, not loud at all, had easy to hear conversations, and just a positive experience, we'll be back.“

“Cala’s is the Bee’s Knees! I am blown away with the quality of food and especially the service! Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.“
