“It was very cold inside but where we sat was not crowded. Would have liked to have a Malbec available for my father. The bartender Corey was a rock star, but I do think on game days there should be a server to help him. He was running bar, bar tables, floor and outside. He was amazing but still a lot to be responsible for. We will definitely return, we enjoyed watching the game.“

“Can’t recommend the Grove for a private event highly enough! We had my daughter’s baby shower in the Bramble House at the end of January. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and loved by our guests! What truly made the day so special was the help of Rachel, our event coordinator and her team. “I hosted our office event at Double Bull last night, with Musical Bingo in the Avalon room. It was absolutely fantastic! From the service to the food to the drinks! Our server, Jackie, is the sweetest and so accommodating! Rebecca the House/Event manager was a doll! She was so considerate, helpful and detailed oriented in planning the event. She even had our company logo on the menu! The office will be talking about this one for a long time. Thanks ladies from all of us!“

“The best trifecta! Food, beverages, service. We always sit at the bar and they have such a nice line of beers on tap. The wine pour is solid and the cocktails appear to be the number one seller.
I’ve had several menu items, but always swing back to their Caesar with swordfish. The others are very good; salmon with vegetables, cod cheeks, steak & cheese, eggplant Parmesan, chicken wings, potato skins, deviled eggs pretty much everything was really good. Busy place during dinner hour, but we usually go early like 3:30-4pm and always get a seat at the bar.“

“My wife and I have not had much luck with dining out lately so when it came to picking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner I was nervous that I would find the right place. I came across Nine Elm and read the reviews. They were amazing. So we made a reservation but I was still cautiously optimistic. Things could not have gone better! We arrived and where we were seated was noising, not what we wanted for an anniversary dinner. When I asked the waitress if there was a quieter spot she went to speak to the manager in we were moved immediately. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but professional. The wine was lovely and the food delicious. We ordered the duck and the swordfish special and they were both cooked to perfection. For dessert we split a Creme Brule. The custard was light and creamy a pleasant surprise. We had an amazing time. We will be back!“

“Cala’s is the Bee’s Knees! I am blown away with the quality of food and especially the service! Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.“

“I haven't been there for years and have been thinking about it so I finally ordered a Yankee Pot Roast. It was superb and I will definitely be back but I was disappointed they didn't include gravy for my double order of mashed. I will be specific next time. I gotta try the prime rib too, I never had a bad steak there.“

“We like the Serenitee Group Restaurants, including 15 Walnut. The menu has been changed since our last visit, and we found two delicious entrees - the special Steak au Poivre, which was perfectly plated and prepared, and the green curry spiced Roasted Salmon, which was imaginatively seasoned and perfectly cooked. The casual setting is conducive to easy conversation, and the sports screens are unobtrusive., but allow sports fans to keep track of the action. We'll return!“

“I have been here several times over the years. I love their fisherman's platter as it has a little of everything. I think my favorite is a toss up between the clams and the scallops. I love their tarter sauce and the plates come with fries or onion rings which are delicious themselves. Nothing better than to take a road on the back roads of Massachusetts and stop in for a plate. The portions are huge and now that I am getting older - I end up having to share. Side note - Woodmans was featured in the Adam Sandler film Grownups - released in 2010. There is also a small ice cream shop in the back which has some great flavors in case you're still hungry afterwards.“

“My hat's off to the wait staff there. While my wife and I were trying to leave there today there was a tremendous rain downpour. A couple of young staff scrambled to find an umbrella. One of the help came over to us as we stood just outside the entry door and handed us the umbrella and said that someone left it behind probably months ago and asked us to take it. This is just a sample of the attentiveness of the staff at Angie's. We always have a great dining experience there.“
