“Staff and service are great. Good draft beer selection, with something for everyone. Steak tips were delicious, big portion and plate overflowing with crispy fries. Included side salad was basic iceberg but loaded with cherry tomatoes, croutons, cheddar and just enough red onion -salad also overflowed the plate. Seemed a bit pricey for a pub, until it was placed on the bar in front of me!“

“Liked my time here! Even though we sat at the bar and the entire place was super crowded, the service was pretty efficient. The cocktails were made in front of our eyes and were very tasty and definitely not watered down like in some other places (we took Irish coffees). The lobster rangoons were also pretty good!“
“Best burger in Beverly. Potato skins are phenomenal too! Service can be a bit slow on occasion but is normally nothing too bothersome. Typical football bar feel, can be a bit overwhelming some nights and might not be for everyone. Would 100% recommend trying it at least once.“

“Pub 49 49 Maple St, DanversHad another positive experience tonight at Pub 49 in Danvers! Very welcoming, easy going atmosphere. Grilled chicken Caesar wrap for me & Dad. He got the onion rings while I got the house made chips. Both were really good. We split the deep fried pretzels and those hit the spot as well. (We also split the Pub 49 dry rub wings which pretty good).Big thanks to our server, Abby, for taking great care of us throughout the entire visit. “Local dive bar, nothing fancy. I like this place because it's not trying to be something it's not. One dollar PBR and five dollar well drinks. A welcome alternative to the ten dollar per beer micro brewery next door. No frills place to have an adult beverage without breaking the bank!“
“I went there while on a work trip. The place was awesome! Great food, beer and service. It was so good that we went back a second night and our server remembered us. I would highly suggest the Seafood Pie and Tailfin beer. Great quality and very reasonably “
“It's a bar, no theme or pretension, a bit dive-y, kind gentleman behind the bar, place smells like years of spilled beer and a hint of mop water. I didn't try the food but I bet it's perfect. I'll pop by this bar anytime I'm in town“
“I've been going to the road house for over 10 years..The food is good...The bartenders have always been nice to me....I have lived in Europe for about 4 years but when I go home I always stop by and it's always the same. The only thing I've always found weird is the owner. He's always lingering around the bar and it's just always weirded me out a bit....but other than that it's a great bar!“

“Friendly staff and good food. Dine in or takeout. I usually stop in for takeout once a week or so. Food is always consistent. Located downtown on Central St. past couple years they've had outdoor curb side seating with propane heaters if that's your thing.“
