“The problem with great family restaurants is they are often "packed". That is the case here. TJ's IS a great place. The burgers are simply out if this world. Their dinner menu is very varied and offers a bunch a great options. I have tried several and have not been disappointed. The food IS good, but as important, the price is just right. In today's world too many restaurants are over charging (AND under paying the staff!) but not here. Alone, a date night or a big group, you can not ho wrong here. Only warning is they are soooo hood and popular that at key times and holiday times they are busy.Steve“
“Stopped in with a crew of tired hungry kids on our way back to N.H. From Great Wolf Lodge and we were very satisfied with our stop! The staff was wonderful, our food was absolutely delicious, and the checkout time was very quick which is what we needed since we were heading home. Overall, excellent experience. Will eat again!“
“Bowling was fun! The actual bowling alley aspect was really great, we played for 2 hours and had a blast. We also had some food and drinks that were slightly better than your average bowling alley food. The arcade section was a little run-down - a lot of the games were broken (or partially broken) and clearly hadn't been attended to. We still had fun playing, and collecting our little prizes at the end. The prize selection was pretty good also!“
“I picked the place at random because it was close to where I was staying and I'm glad I did. The staff is efficient and friendly. The menu offers quite a few choices for such a small place. And the food is excellent. I had the scallops the first night. They were quite fresh and well prepared. Tonight I'm having the muffuletta and it too is delicious.“
“Great dining option in downtown lowell. This restaurant hosts a traditional Irish pub theme and takes you away from the city bustle. Their menu has burgers, cottage pie, bangers and mash and more. They also have weekly specials so always worth a return trip. Their bar has a great selection of drinks and of course, plenty of whiskey. Pricing is average for a night out and close to parking garage.“

“Robyn is a fantastic waitress with a great personality! Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday’s, ask for Robyn! The food was too much for human consumption in one sitting, but I am sure the guys enjoy a big meal at lunch time! Those burgers are made for men! ? If I was a mystery shopper, they exceeded customer service, clean restrooms, good food and a host that made us laugh upon entry! “I hosted a private event upstairs for about 65 ppl. The food was fantastic - we had tips, rice and salad, as well as plenty of apps beforehand - there was plenty of food for our guests. The bartenders and wait staff were so helpful that evening. Penny, the owner and Chris, the cook - could not have been more accommodating to us; always checking in- great communication while planning. The room was rustic with tables scattered throughout for the guest. Our evening was perfect.“

“This was our last resort for food as it was approaching 11 o’clock. We tried a few other places and they all closed their kitchen early. When we walked in, I wasn’t too sure of the place. It has a dive bar Vibe, which I’m totally cool with, but wasn’t sure how my wife and Mom were feeling about it. We ordered chicken fingers, Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls, French fries and a burger. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend! Staff was helpful, the owner was cooking and he was great to talk to.“

“Nice little bar. Little "hometown" atmosphere for the locals. I'm not one of them, but went for a small meal and listen to my wife's old friends play music. It was St. Patrick's day so the Irish and Irish at heart were in full force. With a full house, the service was understandably slow. The corned beef sandwich was good, and the fries were hot.“

Menu is mostly pub fare, enormous pizzas, and sandwiches, but the specials are usually higher class dishes like seafood scampi, or chicken marsala.Drinks are normally priced as you'd expect and the staff is friendly. They've got daily specials and different entertainment most nights of the week. We've been in for Musical Bingo, Karaoke, Trivia, etc. There are also live bands and DJs some nights.Decent bar seating with a fair collection of tables to seat yourself at as well. Dart boards in the back and a Touch Tunes jukebox on the wall for when there isn't live entertainment.I keep coming back.Parking: Parking is okay. There's about 15 spots in their oddly shaped lot, but the carwash next door seems to have more room for parking and is closed at night.“

Downside/upside depending on what you are looking for is it is a very local scene and people can be chatty (everyone has their own opinion on that). Daytime until 7 vibe is older crowd... the nighttime is very much a younger crowd.“
“I have a sodium restriction and they accommodate very well. I check my medical stats today and no change. This shows that they didn't use sodium items on my food and still made it flavorful I loved the Haddock, Fries well needed ketchup and the coleslaw had to be made on site just by the creaminess and the freezing lemonade was unforgettable.“

“Culpeppers has the BEST buffalo wings and pizza in North Andover. I'm super picky about pizza and hated all the pizza places in the area when I moved here, until I found this place. Most bars will serve you overpriced frozen food, but not here. Everything is super fresh and delicious at very reasonable prices. Jimmy and the waitresses make you feel right at home and treat you like family. This place is no frills and has a super relaxed, small town bar vibe. The cocktails are great and reasonably priced and they have a wide selection of beers on tap. Culpeppers has quickly become our go-to spot for watching games, relaxed date nights, or a much needed midweek pick me up.“

“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“
“Went with a large group. Service was excellent! My meal was just OK. Pastrami sandwich was a little tough and lukewarm with no mustard or sauce. Waffle fries, which were supposed to be shoestring potatoes, were dry and hard. Other meals looked better. Salads were huge and loaded with protein. Easy access and good parking.“

The restaurant spot on with everything I needed added to my order. The food was AMAZING - steak cooked to perfection. Ribs delish and covered in yummy BBQ sauce. “Brought family Sunday. Food was A+ our server was so cheerful we felt we have known her all our lives. Lost one of our old hang outs and now we have a new one. Love the pub atmosphere and how cozy it is. A place where you are their most important product. Make sure you are really hungry their portions are big enough that we all had doggie bags. “Great people, great place! I was in town for a wedding at the Steven's Estate and came here after (11/11). The guys behind the bar couldn't have been nicer!! They even turned on their fryers late night just to cook us up mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. Fun, chill vibe and just the nicest people working there. Definitely recommend!“
