For chinese food this place is by far the best! We love coming here all the time! I love their seafood soup and miso soup. Always a winner tome. The service is great as always. We come here so often that the servers already know us by face if not by name. If you come by on a Tuesday night, there is live jazz band music and oh man! they are very good! You need to come and hear them out if you love jazz! :)

This is our go to for take out in the area. However, perhaps no more. Today I picked up a lunch combo, one I picked up many time before. It did not look or taste anything like what I had before from this same restaurant. I ordered sesame chicken and I what I got was a watery orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on it. I needed a break from seafood, burgers and pizza and after considerable back and forth I decided to give the Mayflower a shot despite the occasional very terrible review. I am very glad that I did. It had been a while since I lived in Ipswich and so it's been a while since I tried visited the mayflower.
