Worst chinese food! It was tasteless, overpriced and lukewarm. The food did not taste fresh. Tasted like old food reheated. On top of that, the woman behind the counter was rude. She acted like she was doing me a favor. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Used to be better. Food has decreased the quality, waiter is cold and feels like they are doing a favor as a reason to be there.Pupu platter is dry, no seasoning, tasting old oil. Back in the days the place used to be packed and amazing food. They have increased their price and decreased quality. Big nahhh for them.

Very disappointed in lunch. Had the Mayflower Platter (Pupu Platter) with most items having little taste and way too much batter. Service was attentive but less than friendly. Most bland platter I have had. Will not be returning. Bleak at atmosphere.

Spent $40 on horrible, horrible food. The sushi was clearly not fresh, the overpriced sweet and sour shrimp was just hilarious. $15 for almost nonexistent shrimp in HUGE balls of deep friend dough with a cheap sauce on the side. The cherry on top was there were a few staples in my food!!I called the restaurant and explained the situation the nicest way possible. The woman on the line was extremely rude, unapologetic and basically called me a liar. After numerous times of spending money supporting a local business..this is how you thank us? What a shame. No wonder people tell me that they do not go to you guys anymore.

For chinese food this place is by far the best! We love coming here all the time! I love their seafood soup and miso soup. Always a winner tome. The service is great as always. We come here so often that the servers already know us by face if not by name. If you come by on a Tuesday night, there is live jazz band music and oh man! they are very good! You need to come and hear them out if you love jazz! :)

Went for sushi, and the plate was not worth the price paid. My plate had maki rolls, and where the fish is where they cut it, the amount of tuna/salmon looked like a period at the end of this sentence. Seems like they cater to heavy drinkers and gambling degenerates that venture no father than a Poo Poo platter to eat.

My go to for sushi and Chinese. I love their red curry dishes. Not a typical menu, which I love because of all the variety!

Keno, they pour drinks beyond “stiff” basic sushi. Not too bad. 6/10

Food was ice cold when it finally showed up after an hour and forty five minutes and two calls to them

This is our go to for take out in the area. However, perhaps no more. Today I picked up a lunch combo, one I picked up many time before. It did not look or taste anything like what I had before from this same restaurant. I ordered sesame chicken and I what I got was a watery orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on it. For them to think a consumer wouldn't know the difference is very arrogant and disappointing. You know I have noticed minor inconsistencies before. I've also learned not to eat there on a Monday food is always dry/tough appearing to be reheated.

I needed a break from seafood, burgers and pizza and after considerable back and forth I decided to give the Mayflower a shot despite the occasional very terrible review. I am very glad that I did. It had been a while since I lived in Ipswich and so it's been a while since I tried visited the mayflower. As I walked in it was very pleased to see furniture sparkly and despite the fact that appears very dark from the outside it was light and crisp and clean on the inside. Lucy a beautiful bartender and server was attendant to my seating in menu selection very promptly. She appeared at my table regularly during my meal and made sure that my glass was full And always asked if I needed anything. She refilled my glass promptly, And brought me hot mustard properly. The service was beyond excellent. The soup was flavorful and very fresh. I ordered a combination plate, a luncheon special and it was excellent rice was perfectly cooked with fresh scrambled eggs and fresh vegetables mixed in with pork That was not dried out. The chicken wings were very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and very flavorful. The crab Rangoon's were very crispy on the outside and very creamy on the inside. I'm not sure what the problem is. I found the staff pleasant, attentive, swift and highly competent. The food was excellent and very fresh.
